Skunkpaw / Apprentice / Medicine Den / with Sweetberry Skunkpaw had been healing well in the past week, but had admittedly developed cabin fever from staying in the same nest for so long. She had spoken little about the incident, even to the medicine cats, and had for the most part kept to herself. The young molly had grown a bit surly with how much her mother had doted and fretted over, and she was more than glad she was back in the warrior's den. She needed space, not only physically, but mentally, to reflect on everything that had happened.
She sat in her nest now, gingerly licking her fur, which was sticking up awkwardly from laying down. With the loss of the two elders and Dewdrop and Pecanpaw focused on Nightstar, the den felt hollow and empty. She noticed with a twinge of resentment and jealousy that none of her siblings had bothered to visit her. She had hoped that at least Frostpaw would have popped in, but it seemed her sister's attention was more than focused on Sandpaw, of all toms. At the same time, she couldn't shake off the feeling that maybe her sister was mad at her. She felt guilty about the whole situation, and was more than grateful Frostpaw was uninjured. But did the black molly blame her for all this? I didn't want this! I fought that thing to keep it from getting to you! She wanted to wail, but there was no cat to wail to. Fine. You've made things clear to me. She thought bitterly.
A soft poke on her flank drew Skunkpaw out of her thoughts, and she looked up at the calm, patient gaze of Sweetberry. The sympathy she saw there made her want to yowl. Why does every cat insist on treating me like a newborn kit? I fought that thing and lived! I'm more than ready to train again! However, she knew her new mentor meant well, and though she wouldn't admit it through the mutinous thoughts, Skunkpaw was happy she had come to visit her. Overjoyed, in fact, even if her expression didn't show it.
Finally, she nodded. "Okay." She meowed simply. The raw, furious pain of Doeleap that had led to her catastrophic adventure was gone now, replaced with a cold, solemn, unfeeling grief. The bouncy, happy-go-lucky apprentice who had been filled with such optimism now treated most of the world with stony, nihilistic silence. She slowly lifted herself from the nest, careful not to instinctively use the wrapped front paw. Some feeling had finally sunk back into it after the initial, frightening numbness, assuring her that it wasn't paralyzed. Unfortunately, with feeling also came a fierce pain. "If it wasn't for this stupid paw, I'd be training again." She complained, shaking the unusable limb as if it were a dead mouse. "At this rate, I'm going to be moons behind..."

Sandpaw / Apprentice / Apprentice Den / with Frostpaw Ever since the battle, Sandpaw had been mostly confined to his nest in the apprentice's den. While the sandy tom's injuries were minor, Dewdrop and Pecanpaw had been more concerned by the concussion caused as a result of his impact with the monster. Thankfully he was healing well, and there appeared to be no lasting damage, but the tom still suffered from random bouts of dizziness and nausea. Until these went away, he was off his training, something he definitely wasn't happy about.
The tom was now fast asleep, and with his tail curled over his nose, it was almost as if the battle hadn't affected him at all, with the calm, almost serene image he projected. Which was promptly ruined by his snoring. The sound quelled as the tom slowly awoke, blinking the sleep out his bleary blue eyes. Jaws opened wide in a yawn, showing thorn-sharp teeth, before his gaze fixed on Frostpaw. "You should get more sleep." He told her, mew full of amusement. "If they know you're awake, you're going to be patrolling until sunset." Though his tone was humorous, the tom sounded a bit envious that he couldn't do the same, until his injury was fully healed. He hated the feeling of being powerless.
-
Lightfall / Deputy / Camp Clearing / with Snowpaw The past week had been more exhausting for Lightfall than any other cat. With Nightstar out of commission, Lightfall had been handling every decision in camp short of ceremonies, on top of learning her new deputy duties. She planned patrols three times a day and dove into the necessary hunting headfirst. When she wasn't needed in camp, she was out hunting and patrolling herself, often on multiple patrols a day. On top of everything, she had taken on Snowpaw's training, and trained both apprentices whenever she had free time. With limited food and time to rest, the she-cat was on the verge of overworking herself. Nevertheless, she had to forge on. There was too much to do in the wake of the devastation.
She was up early yet again, blue eyes rimmed red with exhaustion, but she knew that this was the best time to get some training in, before she had to sort out patrols. She also needed to check in with the medicine cats on Nightstar's condition. The whole Clan was worried, and if she could get them some positive news on that front, it would be all the better. She padded over to the apprentice's den, and called out softly, "Snowpaw?" She had been impressed by the young molly's dedication and grit, and she enjoyed working with her. She decided she would combine some training with a bit of hunting. And a chance to get out of camp with her apprentice was always a welcome one in these times.

Cobrastorm Warrior Leader's den w/ Nightstar & Pecanpaw ( ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ )
Cobrastorm shifted uneasy on his paws from the corner of the den as he watched Nightstar dismiss Pecanpaw's request to eat herbs, her behavior in doing this was becoming a routine. The sickness and infection changed Nightstar completely and the weight of Flameheart and other members of the clans added more stress on Nightstar and seeing her not getting any better any time soon made Cobrastorm worry Nightstar would lost a life at any moment. The clan was moving forward with Lightfall managing her new position as deputy while many warriors and apprentice were still recovering from their wounds, Cobrastorm took more time staying beside Nightstar then training Frostpaw, he hoped he could make it up to his apprentice later. Padding over to Nightstar giving her head a comforting lick, he settled down to groom her unkept fur. "Nightstar. I know eating herbs can turn a warrior into a kit in the blink of an eye." He chuckled trying to lighten the mood that drifted around the camp. "But you need to eat them so you can get better for the clan, for yourself...or for me. Okay?" He meowed between licks hoping Nightstar would eat the herbs with any more hesitation.
Twilightblaze Warrior Camp w/ Almondpaw
Twilightblaze flickered her ears to the sound of someone approaching her and saw it was her apprentice, Almondpaw. Returning Almondpaw's greeting with a tail flick, she listen to the young apprentice request for her to take her fishing at the lake. Twilightblaze took a moment to think about any possible outcome that may happen with they went with just the two of them. "Well, I suppose we can." Twilightblaze meowed. "Being stuck in the camp and having in group with everyone doesn't allow us to have to many one-on-one sessions." Getting to her paws to stretch, Twilightblaze flickered Almondpaw's ear playfully to brighten her to her usually self. "Let's make it a little interesting and see who can catch the most fish."

Nightstar - - [30 Moons][Leader][Molly] Where. - - Leaders Den With - - Cobrastorm[Pecanpaw] - -[Taiyou ] For a moment, the confusion that had clouded the fever filled leader intensified. She stared at Cobrastorm blankly until his voice reached her ears. Blinking away the confusion, the calico molly started to purr. Yet, her purr was cut short by a fit of coughing. She groaned when it subsided and turned her attention back to the herbs before her. Hesitantly, she ate them, making a face against the taste. Sinking into the brown and white tabby beside her, she buried her face against his mane, breathing rough and patchy. Her head filled with stars as he lapped at her ungroomed fur.
Her body stiffened as her vision started to fade into darkness, trying to fight it. Within moments, the leader was unconscious again. Only this time, her breathing seemed to fall short as her body went limp. Her mind and soul succumbing to the sickness that wracked her body.
*Dream-world. Losing a life*
Upon opening her eyes, the molly found herself standing amongst the shimmering forest of Starclans hunting grounds. Surrounding her were past clanmates. The past leader,Foxstar. The deputy before her, Ebonyflame. The medicine cat before Dewdrop, Emberbee. Her father, Talonclaw. Her mother..Her beautiful mother, Duskmeadow. Sparkleaf and Falconstorm, Cobrastorm's parents. Doeleap, the fourth sibling to the clan within her clan. Copperfall, Amberblaze and Taloneye, the clanmates that had fallen to the sickness. Maplekit and Shadekit. The tiny kits of Thistletongue and Brindlebriar. They danced around Duskmeadow's paws. And..Oh. Flameheart..Her fallen deputy and best friend. They surrounded her, star-filled pelts brushing against hers. Sending warmth. Love. Strength. Bravery. Determination. Electricity, shooting through her.
In those very moments, she knew. She knew she was losing her first life. A sadness fell over her and she hung her head. "I'm so sorry. I feel as if I have failed you. Failed my clan. We lost so much. I've lost so much." As the words left her mouth, Foxstar stepped forwards and touched noses with her. A vision of Cobrastorm, sitting with her, filled her head. Quickly it faded to show images of her clanmates. Hunting, patrolling, training. Lightfall training multiple apprentices. Wounded warriors being cared for by their clanmates. Before fading back to the vision of Cobrastorm and Pecanpaw sitting beside her body.
"You are not alone in this battle, Nightstar. Though you lead your clan. They stand with you in every way. They give you the strength to be the leader they need. You are only failing yourself by taking on everything on your own. You have loyal warriors. Strong apprentices. A Deputy to be proud of. Who will lead your clan with you. And a tom that is as fond of you, as you are of him. You have everything a powerful leader needs. You just need to listen to your clanmates. Listen to your heart. Now, return to them. There are many battles to come. And your warriors need their leader."
*Waking from losing a life*
Gasping life into her lungs, the still molly suddenly sprang to life again. Her amber eyes were clear, for the first time in days. The fever and sickness that had wreaked havoc on her, was lost with her life. She blinked, exhaustion and confusion covering her face as she gazed around her den. They finally fell on Cobrastorm, the warrior against her side. The only one in her den with her. "Cobrastorm.? It's alright. I'm better now." Her dreams were a bit of a haze at the moment. Though she recalled the tom sitting beside her during her sickness.
Sweetberry-- [40Moons][Warrior][Molly] Where - - Medicine Cats Den. With - - Skunkpaw. [~Skyblaze~ ] - -
Trying to keep her facial expression and eyes glimmering with patience and acceptance, the mentor walked close to Skunkpaw. She offered her a shoulder, in case she needed some support, yet let her do what she could. A gentle understanding filled her blue eyes and she spoke softly. Though, this was not uncommon for the already sweet-souled feline. She was a golden-hearted molly, through and through. "Did I ever tell you about the time that I fractured my back leg.? I was out of my warrior duties for moons. Had slipped out of a tree the day after my warrior duties. I had almost given up, and then Applenose had this crazy idea with Flameheart.."
The cream and white furred molly's words faded as she mentioned the fallen and previous deputy of Leafclan. She shook out her head as she led the black and white apprentice towards the camp entrance. She took it slow and easy, but wanted to give the little molly some fresh air. To give her the satisfaction of being amongst the trees again. After a paused moment, she continued. "They came up with this idea, to take me swimming. Every single day. Even though it ached at first, my leg healed faster than anyone thought it would. I got my strength back and now, no one would ever know I had damaged it at any point. "
She stopped to give her apprentice a knowing look. Her speaking up, she didn't want to give the young molly any ideas. She needed to give her hope, but not give her the urge to jump into the water before her leg had healed enough. "Once Pecanpaw and Dewdrop give the okay, I promise I will take you to the sea myself, every day. And we will work some water therapy on that paw. Okay.? We'll have you up and training and getting your warrior name, before you know it." Scorchstreak- - [45 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Where - -Outside Apprentices Den. With - - Rainpaw [Brindlebriar ] (So this doesn't get lost) Since the gator attack, many warriors and even apprentices had been taken off of warrior duties. That left the remaining clanmates to pick up the slack. Lightfall had been focusing more on hunting, combining border patrols with the hunting patrols. Training was done on patrols as well. It was quite rare to escape the camp with your apprentice before being pulled to a patrol of some sort.
Of course, Scorchstreak understood why this had to happen. Yet, he hadn't been out of camp with Rainpaw in the last week. Since the day of the gator attack, actually. The russet somali had finally decided to escape with his apprentice before anyone could ask him to do anything. He made a mental note to spend some time with Rainpaw, let him scout the territory and lead his mentor hunting. And then, when they got back, they could assist the elders and injured cats with their nests and wounds/cleaning.
"Psst. Rainpaw. Are you awake.? Let's get out of camp and do a little training." The hiss escaped the warrior as he tried as quietly as possible to get his apprentices attention. Peeking his head into the apprentices den, his orange eyes sought out his little dusty colored apprentice.
His mind wondered back to the week before, when his brothers body had been brought back to camp. As well as his aunts body carried to rest with Taloneye and Copperfall. So much death had happened and it bothered him deeply. It bothered him even more that he had lost Flameheart, when he had barely gotten along with the tom. Of course, they loved each other. Yet, they had bickered constantly. A sibling rivalry that no one could break. Yet, they had held an upmost respect for each other. Now, Scorchstreak had worked hard to pick up the slack in camp from others that couldn't help. As well as attending to his grieving mother and the very pregnant Appleye. The queen had lost the love of her life, and her kits were many days overdue. Yet, she hardly moved. Sadness locking on to her heart. She seemed to be forgetting the little lives inside her. And they seemed to sense her hesitation in having them.
Morningdew-- Icestorm [20 Moons][Warrior][Molly] Location - -In the Warriors Den With - -Waspstrike(Icestorm) - -[Robinbreeze ]
As they were approached by Waspstrike. Morningdew simply tried to ignore the warrior until his voice peirced her ears. She turned to the dusky yellow and black tom, opening her mouth to argue, when a bushy tail slapped against her mouth. She immediately closed her maw and gave Icestorm a stern look through icy blue eyes. With the silence now resting over his mate, the tom looked gratefully at the slightly older warrior. He gave a nod of thanks. "Maybe you should join Waspstrike on a border patrol. I'm sure that Lightfall would appreciate a patrol going out so she can give some training. She's been wearing herself thin." With that being said, the large tom nuzzled the silver molly beside him and got to his pause. At first he winced, his shoulders stiff, before he moved slowly from the warriors den, limping slightly. As he left, Morningdew turned cool eyes on the warrior that had butted into the quarrel between the two. Almost every day, she swore their denmates took turns omn who would pull her away from scolding her mate. She let out a sigh as she met the toms mint green eyes before shrugging off the irritated feeling that had befallen over her. "Alright. Alright. You're right. Do you want to go on a patrol then.? I'm sure the two of us could scout the outer edges of the forest."
Speckledflame- - [80 Moons][Warrior/Elder][Molly] Where - -Hunting in the moorland-between forest and farmhouse. With - - Jadepaw. [nimble ] As her apprentice approached her, the older molly purred a rusty little greeting to the little molly. She nodded approvingly as she noticed she was carrying a couple mice. The multi-colored tabby was already a skillful apprentice. Probably the last apprentice that Speckledflame would be able to train. It was a bittersweet thing for the white and orange spotted molly.
Giving a gentle nudge to the apprentices cheek, she sensed the cloud that hung over Jadepaw. It was normal, especially after the most recent events. The battle with the gator had been Jadepaws's first battle. And not the normal one either. It was a horrible one, one that the elderly warrior hadn't been allowed to be there with her apprentice.
"I'm proud of you, Jadepaw. You've done so well since the battle. Giving as much as you can for your injured clanmates. They will appreciate this prey. Would you like to hunt more or do some battle practice.?"
Thistletongue - - [55 Moons][Warrior][Tom] Location - -Walking around camp. With - - Brindlebriar & Brightkit. (Hey Brindle. Ren hasn't been on in awhile, so I think we could share ownership of little Brightkit. What do you think.?) [Brindlebriar ]- -(So this doesn't get lost) Thistletongue casually walked around the camp, green eyes narrowed. His ears were flicked up and he seemed to be walking with a purpose. Of course, he was simply just amusing his little daughter, who was crouched in the very edges and shadows of camp, watching her father with bright and mischievous eyes. As the large brown tabby slunk past her hiding spot, the little caliby molly jumped out. Large white paws rammed into her fathers side as she hit him in a mighty leap.
With a fake gasp of alarm, the warrior rolled to his side, bringing his daughter with him. The two wrestled for a moment before the tom went limp, Brightkit on his stomach. Tiny claws pricked her fathers chest as she pretended to be mighty. Letting his tongue hang out and his eyes roll, the tom pretended to be dead.
"HA. GOT YOU." The ferocious growl escaped from the kits maw, eyes glowing with happiness. In turn, Thistletongue gave a mighty laugh. "That you did, Mighty little warrior. You'll be one of the toughest and bravest cats that Leafclan has ever seen."
Walnutpaw - - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Tom] Location - -Warriors Den With - - Bearswipe. [Fallenleaves ]- - As his mentors hazel eyes lit up, Walnutpaw's orange eyes started to glow. He dropped the prey at the toms paws before giving the brown tabby warrior a playful nudge. After a moment, the brown somali settled down and purred enthusiastically. "That water-combat move.? She had me do a two in one. Once Sunflowerpaw and I were in the water, she had me do that move where I splash water in her eyes. And then once she was blinded by the water, she had me dive underwater and swipe her legs right out from underneath her. And of course, we practiced that move into perfection. I have definitely learned how to breathe underwater!"
The joking laughter that came from the tom filled the den as he nudged the prey closer to Bearswipe. After a moment, the excitement in his eyes faded and he started to look more subtle. A slight sadness seemed to come across his face. Dabbing the ground awkwardly, it took him a moment to speak again. "I wish you were out there with us. You would've been so proud of me." As much as the, not so little, little tom tried to distract himself and hide it, it was effecting him quite a bit to not have Bearswipe with him. He'd grown a closer bond with him than he had with Copperfall. Yet, not having either of the toms, put a fog over his mind.
Almondpaw- - [9 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Training to fish. With - - Twilightblaze. [Taiyou ] Excitement coursed through Almondpaw and she immediately danced around her mentor. The joy that filled her seemed to dance in her eyes, as well as her paws. She nodded enthusiastically, before heading towards the entrance to camp. "I'll totally beat you! Now that you made it a challenge! I remember being taught this fancy move to dive underwater to catch fish. It's so much faster than sitting on the shore and waiting."
Bursting from the camp, she gazed out upon the oak forest, before waving her fluffy tail behind her. She headed towards the sea that met land, glancing back multiple times to see if her mentor was following. She was ready to be out of camp. Ready to do something. They could train, have fun, and feed the clan, all in one.
Frostpaw - - [7 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Location - -Apprentices Den. With - - Sandpaw [~Skyblaze~ ]- - At the sound of movement, Frostpaw turned her blue eyes on her denmate. His teasing, yet envious voice filled her ears and she gave him a roll of her eyes. It was true though. In the moments she wasn't spending with the other apprentice, she was out patrolling or hunting or even joining into a training session with Lightfall, Snowpaw and Walnutpaw. She also knew that it was getting extremely difficult for Sandpaw to be trapped up in camp, while everyone else was working. "I'm sure they can spare me for a moment. I've been working my tail off. Which feels so much better, thank Starclan. I don't know what I'd have done if I'd lost it. Just a limp and useless part of me." She'd been fearful that she'd loose her tail. Even after Dewdrop had popped it back into place, it'd lost feeling and she had been forced to drag it around for days. In only the last couple of days, she'd regained full use of it.
"Did Dewdrop or Pecanpaw say when you'll be allowed to come out again.? Hunting is no fun when there is no competition. No one is even close to my skills, besides you. Of course. I'm better. But you're up there." The tease that filled her voice as she ran her cheek against the sandy colored tom's seemed to radiate through her. Warmth filling her ear-tips as she stepped back. She ducked her head in a slight embarrassment. She was still learning her feelings and actions towards Sandpaw. It was as if her body had a mind of its own when she curled against him, or nuzzled him. She didn't hide her feelings for him very well. Not anymore, anyways.
Pecanpaw- - [9 Moons][Medicine cat Apprentice][Tom] Where. - - In Leaders Den. With - - Nightstar--(Cobrastorm.) Then Lightfall. [Taiyou / ~Skyblaze~ ] Pecanpaw had stepped back as Cobrastorm had taken his place beside Nightstar. Relief washed over him as the leader lapped up her herbs, before snuggling into the tom beside her. But the relief that filled the young medicine cat, suddenly vanished as a wave of panic swept over him. The calico leader had gone limp and her breathing had stopped completely. Her head, which had been buried into Cobrastorms mane, had rolled slightly, hitting the side of her nest.
He stepped forwards and nosed the older molly, eyes wide. After a moment, he cleared his throat and dipped his head, ears flat. Once again, he had failed his clan. The sickness that had now taken four lives, had been unfixable. He'd tried everything. His mentor, had tried everything. The only plus side to this, is Nightstar still had 8 more lives. "I..I'm sorry, Cobrastorm. Sh..She's losing a life. I must go alert Lightfall. Stick with her, she'll be very confused when she wakes up. And very weak."
With that, the somali tom slipped from the leaders den and hurried to find Lightfall. He immediately spotted the deputy beside the apprentices den, having a conversation with Snowpaw. Slipping up to the molly, he dipped his head in an apology for interrupting, before murmuring very softly in Lightfall's ear. "Nightstar is in the process of losing a life."
Snowpaw - [7 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where. - - In Camp. With - - Lightfall. [~Skyblaze~ ]
Snowpaw had been wrapped up tightly in a ball of white fur. She'd twitched her ears slightly at the sound of Frostpaw and Sandpaw's talking, but simply ignored it. It was early still, yet she could already hear the sounds of the camp alive and scurring with life. The warriors and apprentices that weren't injured, were awake more than not lately. Even the injured ones had been restless. Snowpaw herself, had spent most of her time with Lightfall. She'd slept maybe as much as her temporary mentor in the last week. In the moments of ignoring her denmates, the soft and exhausted voice of the newest deputy of Leafclan lingered into the apprentices den. Without hesitation, the fluffy white molly jumped to her paws. Without even stopping to groom her fur, she slipped out of the den and approached Lightfall. Giving the deputy a respectful dip in a greeting. "Good morning, Lightfall." She paused for a moment, blue eyes inspecting Lightfalls. She felt sympathy for the exhausted warrior. She had dealt with so much already in the last week. More than was expected of her, yet she did it every single day. "If you don't mind me saying, no one would blame you if you needed a day to rest, Lightfall. The clan knows how hard you've been working."
Sunflowerpaw- - [8 Moons][Apprentice][Molly] Where - -Fishing. With - - Wildmane. [Fallenleaves ] Padding along beside her mentor, Sunflowerpaw kept silent for awhile. She would simply nod her head or give a flick of her ears that she was still paying attention to Wildmane. As they worked their way towards the big body of water that the pair had gone training at the previous day with Walnutpaw, the little molly kept alert. They moved quickly, yet carefully around the badger set. Though Sunflowerpaw could see the movement amongst the den. The badgers had their babies sometime in the last moon.
As she felt her mentor bristle beside her, she turned her leafy green eyes on the black furred molly. She was sure that the molly was thinking of her sister again. It wasn't a secret to the clan that the two didn't get along. Yet, Sunflowerpaw was well aware of the looks that Swansong shot at them when Wildmane and her would go out for hunting or training sessions. A bit cautious at first, Sunflowerpaw decided to speak up. Her voice was a little shaky at first, a clear indication of her nervousness in addressing Wildmane. "I know you aren't sharing your thoughts. But..Well..I..I can take a guess at why your forcing your fur flat and trying to..to calm yourself. I notice the looks and disapproval from Swansong. And well..I..I just want to say that I'm glad Nightstar gave me you as a mentor than her."
Of course she meant that in the kindest way. Sunflowerpaw was nothing but a gentle soul. But she was shy and easily embarrassed. She needed a mentor that wasn't the same as everyone else. Wouldn't push her too hard, get angry at her, or expect the world out of her. She remembered watching Wildmane and her siblings as a kit, and out of the four, had found a bit of admiration for the black molly. She'd watched her many times, repairing the camp, bringing back prey for the clan, and even recently she'd watched her sharing ideas to save the clan. As well as putting her own life, in order to try and save many. There was much to respect.
Applenose - - [40 Moons][Queen][Molly] Where. - -In Nursery. With - -Palespirit. [Zz ] Applenose had been laying in her nest with her head on he paws. She hadn't ate in the last few days and her belly rumbled, yet she ignored it. The blankness in her eyes was replaced by an unbearablegrief as she thought of Flameheart. Another part of her was lost into why her unborn kits, still sat in her stomach. Would they not come.? Everyday they stayed there, she risked losing them. Could they sense that she was hurting.? As Rushingkit's voice penetrated her thoughts, the queen snapped her head towards the family. She let out a hiss, flattening her ears against her head, causing Rushingkit to flinch against her mother.
Rushingkit- - [0-6 Moons][Kit][Molly] Location - -Nursery With - - Family. [z - Brindlebriar ]- - Gazing out of the side of hers and her siblings nests, Rushingkit stared at Applenose with large green eyes. Her short blueish/gray fur spiked along her shoulders as she tilted her head slightly. The creamy furred queen was laying with her head on her paws, staring blankly at the den entrance. Her thick stomach took over her entire nest. She seemed nothing but a body now. "Mama. How come Applenose hasn't had her kits yet.? I overheard Brindlebriar and Thistletongue talking about how they were suppose to be here the day Flameheart died. And how dangerous it was that she hasn't had them already."

Bearswipe had bowed his head to take a bite of the offered prey when the apprentice’s laughter suddenly petered off. He lifted his head to meet Walnutpaw’s eyes and frowned at what he found there. Why did the young tom look so much like him at that very moment?
When Walnutpaw finally spoke up, Bearswipe instinctively placed his good paw on the young tom’s. “I AM proud.” The words were low but urgent, his eyes earnest. “No matter what Walnutpaw I’ll be proud from this point on. You’re going to be a great warrior, I knew it from the moment I took you into the forest. You’re exactly the type of tom this clan needs right now.”
Walnutpaw was the tom Bearswipe wished he could still be, dependable and caring. That gloom from earlier swirled about him but he breathed through it. For Walnutpaw, for the clan, for... Doeleap.
“You’re too hard on yourself.” Bearswipe smiled as he spoke, his tone warm and soft. A sound he didn’t know he could make anymore. “You’re easily one of the best cats I’ve ever known.”
He didn’t know if his sister was watching over them but he suddenly had this intense feeling of her warmth again, brushing against his back, over his head, between his ears. Like she was sharing tongues with him again. Doeleap was proud of him, he just knew it.
The small smile Bearswipe wore grew brighter and he bumped his head affectionately against Walnutpaw’s. “I may not be your mentor anymore but I’ll always call you a friend.”
(Sorry too tired to do the other replies but really wanted to get this one out!)

Littleripple was curled up in her den with the warriors. The past few days had been quiet. The clan was grieving for the loss of the four fallen warriors, one of them being the beloved deputy. Nightstar had fallen ill and was alone in her den. Her heart went out to the younger leader, knowing it was hard to lead a clan who seemed to be falling apart at the seams every waking moment. Littleripple sighed and slowly and quietly moved out of the warriors den, making her way to the fresh kill pile. The smell of milk was strong from nursery as she passed, making her wonder if apple nose had ever kitted. She was late. Worry sparked in her heart. Grabbing a little mouse from the fresh kill pile, she made her way to the nursery. Poking her head it, making sure to be quiet, she witnessed Apple hissing at Palespirits kits for asking about her. Shooting the grieving queen a sympathizing stare, she pushed her way in and pressed her fluffy body against the unnaturally cold pelt of the queen. "I know you dont want to, but you need to eat. Not for anyone but yourself." She mewed softly, pushing the mouse under her nose. The loss of her mate mere hours before her kitting was supposed to happen, was to much for the queen to bear alone. "I know your angry. But you cant punish yourself." She added before licking her swollen belly. Acornkit swiped at Rushingkits ear, hissing in distaste. "Watch what you say." The little tuxedo mewed, flattening his ears against his head. Everyone was so worried about Applenose and her kits, that they were not giving her enough time to grieve. Acornkit new nothing about kitting or grieving, but from the looks of it, it all seemed hard. "Starclan will allow it to happen when they think its time. At least thats what mom says." He whispered, laying his head on his paws. Littleripple had entered the nursery, making the small space a little more crowded, but he fluffy fur and soft eyes were always inviting to him. She was a kind cat and always looked out for the kits. He thought it sweet of her to bring the queen a mouse to eat. Rainpaw nearly jumped out of his fur when the urgent yet nearly silent voice of his mentor buzzed in his ears. Snapping his head up, he squinted at his mentor. The warrior looked goofy, his eyes were wide as they tried to adjust to the dimness of the apprentices den, making Rainpaw wanna giggle. They had not been out for the past week. Their new deputy making sure patrols were out, hunting was being done, and the elders were taken care of. Many warriors were out due to their injuries, so that left the healthy apprentices to do most of the work. He didnt mind it as much, he was more than willing to help his clan where they needed it. Slowly getting up, making sure not to awaken the rest of the apprentices, he made his way out of the den and stretched, a yawn engulfing his tiny head. "Lets go!" He mewed quietly, his little spotted tail thrashing in excitement. Brindlebriar purred. Times were dark, but little Brightkit lived up to her name. Seeing Thistletongue and Brightkit playing as they simply made their laps around camp brought much joy to the queens heart. Times were weird here in Leaflclan. Two warriors passed, two elders went on to be with Starclan, Nightstar has fallen ill, patrols went out nearly every hour for patrols and other necessities, leaving Brindle to care for Brightkit most. She gazed at her mate through bright eyes filled with love. He was so gentle with her. I wonder what life would be like with her two siblings here... She thought to herself carefully, not wanting to dwell on the loss for very long. ____________________________________________________
Brightkit puffed out her chest at her fathers praise. "I know it! Im going to be the greatest warrior Leaflcan has ever saw!" She mewed with pride. She leaped off her fathers soft belly and patted at a little pile of dust sitting on the ground. "When do I get to be an apprentice? Im bigger than all of the kits in the nursery..." She whined softly, wanting to go out and learn as soon as she could.

Ace nodded. She didn't mind being escorted out, and by the looks of things, she was lucky to get out with friendliness rather than a fight. Her crinkled whiskers twitched in gratitude. "If you want." She mewed at the cats offer to explain things. She knew their would be missing part of their conversation, seeing it was none of her business to know what death or other things went on with clan cats. They were well reserved, and rightfully so. Jumping lightly off the rock, she stayed close behind the other tired she-cat, wanting to stay close enough that others knew she wasn't a threat, but far enough so that the unnamed cat wasn't threatened. She kept her ears perked in interest as she spoke of the harm that animal and the damage its done to the clan. "That's absolutely terrible." She mewed quietly, feeling the grief roll from the warrior in front of her. It was a bitter scent, making her whiskers twitch. "Your leader..." She mewed, slowly choosing her words carefully. "She is strong. Im sure she will make the right decision regarding this." She ventured, not sure what to say to comfort the cat. The death of family and friends was nothing to take lightly, which is why Ace preferred to live alone. She only had to worry about herself. She was pretty good at staying out of trouble, and made for a somewhat easy life when you had no enemies. Clan cats were born with enemies. The thought made her heart sink. The poor kits were born to die for their clan. They had no idea what life was like outside of their camp. Shrugging away the thought, she listened to the cat more.

Sharppaw perked his ears at Cinderblaze’s approach, standing as his mentor began to speak of hunting near the farm. Though it didn’t reach his face the young tom felt a bit of relief. The air in the camp was stale and heavy with sorrow and defeat. It set him on edge and though he was to dignified to prance, it was all making him antsy.
“Lets.” Sharppaw simply mewed, dipping his head as a gesture that he would follow.

Wildmane bristled once more as Sunflowerpaw piped up and mentioned Swansong. The last few words however kept Wildmane’s rage at bay, but still it curled weighty in her gut. She knew Sunflowerpaw was trying her best to be supportive but Wildmane hated that even her apprentice felt the need to point the flaw out.
“It’s rude to bring up family business, you should be focusing on the task at hand.” Wildmane bit out without turning to look at the young she-cat. After a moment though she flicked her tail against Sunflowerpaw’s flank as thanks, too proud to admit that it’d gotten to her.
After that quickly and subtle display Wildmane picked up the pace, finally at a safe distance from the badger sets. Her padding became a trot and then a full out run as she tore down the slope towards the beach. Tall, wispy grasses brushed against her pelt as she wove between the sandy dunes. Once the ground evened back out into the soft sands of the beach Wildmane slowed, kicking up sprays of fine white sand in the process.

Cobrastorm Warrior Leaders Den w/ Nightstar ( ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥)
Cobrastorm felt relief as Nightstar eat her herbs not enjoying the taste but he was happy she eat them. He purred as Nightstar press herself into his mane and for a moment Cobrastorm thought everything was going in the right direction until Nightstar breathing became rough and her body stiffened for a moment then she went limp right against him causing Cobrastorm to hold his breath hearing Pecanpaw mention Nightstar was losing a life. The brown and white tom kept still as much as possible, he felt his paws twitch with anxiety, even through Pecanpaw said she was going to wake back up and he took a few glances at the entrance of den to see if Pecanpaw was returning before looking back at Nightstar hearing her voice again and he sighed out of relief. "Oh Nightstar, we lost you for a moment there." He meowed. "Welcome back, I guess."
Twilightblaze Warrior Outside of Camp, training w/ Almondpaw
Twilightblaze bounded after her apprentice into the forest they called home, the air of the forest filled her nose and she felt almost excited as her apprentice as they tracked through the forest toward the sea. "Now Almondpaw, make sure you pay attention to your surroundings." She meowed wanting to keep Almondpaw on her paws for anything, the sea as calm and cats usually didn't have to worry about anything there but she didn't want to take any chances for something to happen. "Make sure not to go to far from the shore as you fish. We don't want to lose you to such big body of water."

( ♥𝔉𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔱ℜ𝔬𝔰𝔢♥ ) Waspstrike’s mouth widened into a small smile as Icestorm walked out of the den. “He’ll be fine,” he mewed as he stood to stretch his legs. Going out with just the two of them sounded like a bit of a risk, with all the dangers that seemed ready to pounce the second they stepped out of the camp. Perhaps finding another warrior would be beneficial for safety. “Sure, I’ll join you. I’ll be glad to get out.” Padding in the wake of Icestorm, he slipped out of the warriors’ den and turned in the direction of the camp entrance. His gaze darted around camp invade any other warrior looked in need of something to do. ( Fallenleaves ) Cinderblaze nodded, a grin developing on her maw. She whisked around and led the way to the entrance, dipping her head as they passed Waspstrike and Morningdew. Once in the forest, the song of the birds and the buzz of insects filled her ears, and the smell of leaves drifted into her nose. The pale ginger she-cat paused a moment to breath it in before turning and setting a swift pace for the farm. “Race you there!” She called over her shoulder as her paws thrummed across the forest floor. Cinderblaze enjoyed the wind as it ruffled her short fur and the tingle of the leaves under her paws. ( Brindlebriar I didn’t forget about Cinderblaze and Ace, I just thought it would have been cut short because of the timeskip.)

Jadepaw considered what speckleflame said for a moment, before replying. "Could we do some battle training?" she meowed. She crouched down into a poucning stance, her tail thrashing behind her.

Vixenclaw curled her tail over her nose as she sleeply doozed off in some moss, a few hearbeats later she decided to get up. The clan won’t feed itself! Vixenclaw scolded herself silently. Vixenclaw yawned and flexed her muscles before padding stiffly into the heart of camp. Soon after, she flicked her ear irritatedly as she felt the cold leafbare breeze ruffle her tortoiseshell fur. “I wish there was some sun in this bloody leafbare!” She hissed angrily.
told you guys I’d be back!)

(( nimble Yes, I do. I should have replies by this afternoon. My other characters -- Darkfern, Brindlewing, and Sunchaser are also free to rp. Also, Brindlebriar , is it all right with you if Duskwing has a crush on Ashstream? It doesn't have to lead anywhere, but I thought it'd be fun.))
