(I love your character!) If Divine was being honest they were so focused on talking to Blakely that they barely noticed Chan even in the doorway between his room and where they sat. This Divine jumped a little in their seat when Chan spoke
Divine didn't have any problem with Chan if they were being honest but sometimes they wished he didn't startle them all the time even if he didn't mean to
'At least my living room isn't going to turn into a brawl or anything' they sighed in relief, they werent 100% focused on the details of the couples discussion but it seemed like they had made up
At the mention of food Divine grinned and was instantly excited, "Oh boy! I'd love something to eat! Just keep your lovey junk to a minimum" they teased

( Thanks <3! )
"I know." He doesn't wince but he does frown. Haneul knows that Blakely didn't really have to walk, she wants to make a point. And she's definitely made it. If this were another situation he might tentatively express his concern over her walking alone, even if it wasn't that far. But as it stands, it's not like he has the right to...and he wouldn't exactly be able to explain why times are particularly more dangerous now than usual. He's honestly relieved that she hasn't yet demanded details or a reason why he couldn't keep his promises and he hopes that he can distract her enough so that she doesn't ask. Haneul doesn't want to lie, but he can't exactly tell the truth either. He doesn't even know the truth. Fortunately she softens toward him a bit, wiping at what is likely dirt from his earlier- rather spectacular, if Jun is to be believed- face plant. It's also fortunate that she walks away and turns her back on him afterwards so that she wouldn't see hispout. A distant childhood has made Haneul rather tactile; it took some effort not to immediately go to his girlfriend and hug her. Especially after what he'd seen.
Haneul's natural first instinct is to buy his way back into their favor. It's a tactic that his parents used on him and that he in turn used to succeed when he was younger...But he's since learned that it isn't as viable as he'd thought and is doubly unreliable. Of course the knowledge doesn't exactly help the renewed guilt he feels at Blakely's words. He knows her to be a prideful person and the embarrassment in front of her friends had to really sting. "I'll be sure to make it up to them as well, I owe them an apology for wasting their time." Haneul manages to stop twirling his ring, keeping the cautious optimism out of his tone as he answers her smile with a tentative one of his own. "I'd love to. Whatever you'd like, takeout or otherwise~" He's always happy to provide when asked, Haneul only ever wants the best for those he's close to.
To Divine, he responds with a self-deprecating, "We'll try." Haneul rocks back on his heels and rises, clasping his hands behind his back with a wry quirk of his lips. "Ah, if you would excuse us to freshen up?" He also needs to retrieve his personal phone and let Jun know that he'll be blacklisted. It never sticks but it's the thought that counts.

Divine got up from the couch and stretch, they'd probably need to change before they left, it'd give them enough time to think of what they should eat too
Divine quickly grabbed a fresh pair of shorts and a t-shirt and slipped them on in the corner of their room, which they called the "changing room" since no one could see them from there
"Why don't we grab a pizza or we could get some sub sandwiches or something?"
Divine wasn't much of a fancy eater so they weren't sure on what the other two would like, "Unless anyone has a better idea?"

( i thought i responded but apparently it was still in my drafts ;;; I added some more to tie up your last post, here we are! )
"Sounds good to me." Haneul was grateful for the reprieve, smiling tiredly at the pair before retreating to his room. He carefully closed the door behind him and leaned against it with a sigh, allowing his shoulders to droop as he closed his eyes and ran a hand through his hair. Fortunately, he'd at least managed to finger-comb the leaf mulch out of it earlier. Divine and Blakely would be ready soon, so he doesn't have the time to take a shower but he can at least freshen up without the bathroom. After a few swipes and scrubs with some wet wipes, Haneul carefully tends to the minor wounds he sustained before picking out a more casual outfit in the form of a navy henley and black jeans. His wallet, keys, and phone are placed on the dresser as he leans into the mirror to brush his hair and inspect his face. The blood and smudges are gone. He has to smooth the concerned wrinkle from his brow, but no longer looks worse for wear.
"Hm." He prods at a scratch on the underside of his jaw. "Good enough." Haneul is shuffling through his credit cards and cash to make sure he has it all when he returns to the living room. He hadn't thought to check earlier, but he can't afford to let Blakely down again in the event that someone had lightened his wallet in the scuffle. Might be too small of a word for that disaster but- Haneul looks up just as his girlfriend is emerging from the bathroom. Her dirty blond hair is in a more casual messy bun and the majority of her makeup is gone but her lips sparkle in pink when she smiles. He automatically answers in kind, "How is it that you never take a break from being beautiful~? Give me some time to prepare my heart, would you?" He then pulls a mock-sheepish face at Divine as if in apology for engaging in 'lovey stuff'.
"Ripley's, hm?" The blond's glance gives him pause but his face remains passive. She's set on it, of course. And he did promise anything...but despite being close to campus, that side of town isn't exactly in the most idyllic state. Haneul can't risk running into anyone he knew there; he's been avoiding it thus far. But there is one person he knows whose presence is only slightly less welcome. "Sure! My car isn't parked too far." He strides to the door and opens it to allow the others to leave first, one hand lightly touching Blakely's waist to indicate she can go ahead while he sends a rapid-fire text with the other hand.
| DON'T ANSWER |
| - Jun I need you to make sure Ripley's is clear. -| am busy | - I'm not asking. And I'm sure that I don't need to remind you exactly how much you owe me. I will be paid back in full, starting now. -| lol how do you type so fast with 1 hand? | - Jun I swear -| yessir yessir i'll just stand up and walk away as if my cat isn't happily asleep in my lap -| you'll have to answer for this i'll send you a picture of her heartbroken face to haunt your dreams -| you monster | - Do it now. We'll arrive within thirty minutes. -| we?
At this point he silences his phone and slips it into his back pocket. "Would you two be up for dessert afterward~?"

(I'm honestly very interested in Chan it'll probably give us some action etc cuz I'm usually stumped on how to make that happen lol
Divine did a fake puking motion at the couple before laughing to themselves, 'Okay okay Divine stop teasing people you hardly know' they thought to themselves while trying to stop laughing
It wasn't even that funny and Divine knew it, eventually they pulled themselves together
Divine hurried to the door and did a little dance in the hall "Ripley's! Epic! We could be like The Pizza Gang or like hmmm I'll think of a name for our friendish group" they chuckled while they starting twirling down the hall
Divine wasn't sure if they'd actually get to hang out with the two ever again but tonight they were intent on having some fun while they could
(When you have big energy levels irl so you make your characters do twirls and stuff lmao)

( Haha, I'm glad~ I am too, I'm trying though! )
Haneul catches up to them after locking the door and checking his watch for the time. It shouldn't take Min long; he lives fairly close to the restaurant in question and could easily draw unworthies away. Still, he can't be too cautious. Especially with his current track record. Blakely obviously doesn't intend to let anything slide but he hopes that a more casual night out- even if not alone- would help soften her to listening to what he has to say. And he definitely has something to say. Right. "Pizza Gang, hm?" His light tone matches the pair's mood as he slips his hands into his pockets. Haneul didn't miss the blonde's assessing glance. He needs to 'loosen up' a little, as Min would say. It isn't difficult, Divine's cheer is infectious and he finds himself laughing along. "I could probably acquire monogrammed jackets if you want to go all in~" Though he and his roommate don't interact too often, Haneul tries to seem less intimidating by engaging in light teasing and making a joke out of his wealth. It seems that Divine doesn't know who he is, per se, but he can't always keep his 'identity' hidden. The incident of having his silk, monogrammed handkerchief mixed into their laundry didn't help. His car, at least, is modest. Well, the one he parks at the dorms at any rate. And Divine even mentioned the possibility of them being friends~ Not exactly the best idea, given the circumstances, but it makes him happy nonetheless. Haneul tends to like people until given a reason to feel otherwise, and he's always liked Divine. Blakely's response inspires a bemused smile. "Why didn't I hear about this~?" Haneul himself had been subject to a variety of 'group names' but they weren't always flattering.
( Same here! Except I might end up making them meme too much lol )

(( i love haneul and am excited to see where this goes as well xd )) "That might be a bit much." Blakely laughed at Haneul's mention of personalized jackets. It was obviously a joke, but she couldn't imagine how embarrassing that would be to actually wear. She cast a glance in her boyfriend's direction, an awkward smile tugging at her lips. "You don't know everything about me yet, Chan." She teased as she fell into step beside him. Glancing at his pocketed hands, she gently tugged on the sleeve of his shirt, wanting him to hold her's on the way to the car. Sure, she was mad at him, but that didn't mean she didn't want to touch him. She was actually quite an affectionate person and loved to be touchy with him. "My friends and I wanted to become a band." She explained, amused. "We even wrote our own songs, although they were as bad as you'd expect from a bunch of 12 year olds. We called ourselves the Angels and One Dude. The 'dude' was my friends little brother who insisted on being included." She couldn't help laughing at the memory.
(( true story ^.^ ))

(that being a true story makes it even better omg)
Divine couldn't help but chuckle a bit at both Blakely and Chan
"C'mon with a story like that you're already right on your way to personalized jackets. Like a motorcycle gang" Divine did motorcycle handle motions with their hands, even adding a little "vroom vroom"
Divine, who was walking in front of the group a little grinned even wider, "We're practically walking in triangle formation like a group!"
Triangle formation being where two or more people walked in the back or front of the group and one person was in front or behind like a triangle point
Divine took a giant inhale of the outside air as soon as it hit their lungs "Alright now point me to the cars direction so I can dash"
(Okay the story reminded me of triangle formation we used to walk in at school so I had to add that real quick)

( Thanks, and so am I! <3 I'm not sure yet...Min and Chan tend to be magical in some way but I'm not sure if that's what I'm leaning toward..? I of course plan to keep in mind whatever you guys want to do~ ^^ Their issues can be more personal haha )
( Yep! You'll generally be able to tell how much sleep I've gotten based on the shenanigans my boys get up to ^^" I literally have entire lists of ridiculous scenarios and conversations to sprinkle into rps lol )
( Oh, cool! I tend to do that with my siblings without meaning to- I'm always in front because I walk fast. I accidentally knocked a guy off his motorcycle once ^^" )
( Also sorry for not posting yet! Haven't had the muse because I lost my job and I'm trying to find another during a pandemic so 🙃 )

"Yet being the operative word~" He teases, slipping a hand from his pocket to link his fingers with hers. Haneul may not be as obsessive about it as Min, but he's always made it a priority to learn as much about those around him as possible. He tries not to apply that philosophy to those he's in a serious relationship with, however. Few as they may have been. At least beyond a rudimentary background check. His smile turns wry as he thumbs the worn ring on the middle finger of his free hand. Haneul smiles as they exit the building, swinging their linked arms a bit. "Sounds fun! You'll have to sing for me sometime~"
"I agree, The triangle formation is common in motorcycle gangs as well, we're halfway there." He finds himself laughing at Divine's enthusiasm. "It's the white car to the right." Haneul's 'normal' means of transportation is a white Lincoln MKZ hybrid. He would have opted for a more nondescript car but he likes the idea of it being easier on the environment.
The ride to the restaurant is without incident. Still, Haneul opts to sit in a booth with his back to the wall and eyes on every possible entrance and exit. He tries to appear more relaxed by stretching an arm across the seat behind Blakely but his left hand remains free and close to his phone. He'd kept the conversation in the car light, as well as that in the restaurant in an attempt to distract from the reason they were there in the first place. All seems to be going well until a familiar blond appears with their food. "Order for table seven!" Grinning, the man holding their trays neatly slides into the booth beside Divine but remains closer to the edge of the seat. Likely to give the other person space as well as a defensive position that would allow him to avoid Haneul kicking him under the table. "It's a good thing our food arrived when it did~ Channie really tired me out today! His refractory period is insane." He winks at Blakely. Haneul begins calmly freeing his knife from the napkin it had been wrapped in.

(aaaaa sorry for the super late reply. I ended up taking my computer back since it kept having issues so I’m p much only on my iPad now. I typed this up in google docs since my iPad reloads pages sometimes if I switch tabs and apparently I never actually replied to the thread c’x hope you’re feeling better now! and thanks! you’re post looks fine ^^
I wasn’t sure if you wanted to rp all of the robbers or not but didn’t want to look like I was godmodding so I avoided including their reactions to mordecai, sorry if it’s a bit messy)
Mordecai watched as the cashier started to scan them, glancing occasionally at the door. There probably wasn’t anything to worry about, the cashier didn’t really seem to be interested in either of them- or anything else for that matter. He’d be out of the store in just a minute anyway. He was still trying to ignore his concerns when he heard the door open and immediately looked toward it, freezing when he saw the three masked men entering the store.
Well then… I guess it wasn’t the cashier I needed to worry about.
He looked between the three robbers, trying to determine how just bad the situation was. Two had guns, the other had no obvious weapon, but that didn’t necessarily mean he was less of a threat. Though it had been awhile since he’d been in a situation like this, he knew not to underestimate enemies.
When the woman he’d helped with the spilled candy spoke behind him he didn’t look toward her, instead he quickly scanned the area again. The man she planned to take the gun from was furthest away, an odd choice, but maybe there was a reason, and there was no time for him to question her. He nodded, almost unnoticeably, then held up three fingers behind his back. He didn’t know what here plan was but timing it seemed like a good idea. Two One Zero Not looking to see what the woman was doing, he shot forward and grabbed the wrist of the man she’d indicated with speed and strength that didn’t quite seem human. At once, an odd golden glow formed at his fingertips and seemed to continue up his arm as he syphoned the robber’s energy, showing faintly through the sleeves of his jacket. Mordecai glanced briefly across the room as he tried to twist the gun free, not wanting the hooded woman or the cashier to be hit if it went off. The longer he held on absorbing energy, the weaker the robbers grip would become. Technically he could use this part of his abilities to kill them, but that was a last resort, especially when there would be witnesses. If he did it would probably make the humans think even worse of people like himself.

{Hey, hope it's okay if I pop in, I really liked your starter about the party! ^^}
Ashlyn had been dragged to a party by one of her friends. She hadn't even wanted to attend it, and was crestfallen when her friend took her book away that she had brought. She looked around the house uncomfortably. She wasn't the best at social gatherings, or starting up conversations. She rubbed at her arm nervously as she started to become claustrophobic. There were so many people in one space, all brushing against one another. Ashlyn desperately looked for a way out, before finding a door. She made her way to it, taking a deep breath when she stepped outside. There were some people talking in smaller groups, but she still didn't feel comfortable talking to them. Instead she sighed, deciding to wait for her friend to finish up talking with people so they could leave. She straightened her jacket, and held her skirt to the back of her legs as she sat down on one of the porch stairs. She wondered how so many people could just gather in one spot and not be awkward around each other. It was bizarre to her.
