i collaborated with Chicken on this windclan family tree. we wanted to finally give windclan family trees and family relationships, since they're the most neglected clan when it comes to family ties (even background riverclan cats have SOME family trees or listed parents, even if most of the time it's only a mother that's listed on their wiki page lol).

here are some notable headcanons we came up with:
- antpelt and leaftail are brothers.
- antpelt and thistleheart had whiskernose
- leaftail's daughter is sunstrike, and she became mates with harestar and had oatclaw, slightfoot, and hootwhisker
- crowfeather is a descendant of reedfeather (willowbreeze's dad/silverstream's grandpa/feathertail's great grandpa) through being mistmouse's great grandson (mistmouse is reed's brother here). so it's pretty ironic he fell for feahtertail...they're very distantly related and come from cats who had half clan relationships!
- whitetail is related to tallstar through being his neice as fly's daughter. she and onestar are then cousins, and still have heathertail as their daughter.
- mudclaw and runningbrook had kits: gorsetail, willowclaw, dewspots and harestar! we really wanted to make harespring mudclaw's son! this means mudclaw's line is going strong thanks to gorsetail and harespring having lots of kits.
- harestar's son, oatclaw, is mates with his aunt's granddaughter, featherpelt!
- webfoot is kestrelflight's father
- barkface, shrewclaw, tornear, and mudclaw are direct relatives to heatherstar.
- whitetail is the sister of runningbrook and webfoot. this makes all their kits related. kestrelflight is related to heathertail. and harestar is related to them both. it's cool to have the leader and medicine cat be cousins, and their other cousin, heathertail is the mate of breezepelt, a connection to the main windclan figure head, crowfeather.
- fernstripe is also a kit from sedgexember, but from a second litter.
- we would later want brindlewing to get with hootwhisker, and for applepaw to get with flutterpaw.
