I like the idea of being like leader or medicine cat of Mothclan. Also, love the clans you have up there.

I love SpiderClan a lot (both because spiders are cool and so are mountain territories) but I also think Wasp/Moth/Beetle complement each other in terms of philosophy really well. Impulsive/Witty/Stubborn. And that having a mountain territory that is hard to traverse would give SpiderClan a reason to be aloof from anything happening below.

Brownie Good points. I think I've been most drawn to Waspclan personally, and Ghost likes Mothclan. So it's up to you as to whether you'd prefer Spiderclan or Beetleclan (or an entirely different one). One on hand you're right that Spiderclan seems like the odd man out of those four. But again a good point that their aloofness would make sense. So either way works for me <3

I can take BeetleClan! I think it'll be a good contrast between the others and I haven't done a grasslands in a while. It would be interesting to explore what uniqueness we can put on that blank slate.
I'm guessing they'd have a bit of a philosophical rivalry with MothClan too. They're all fluttery and moving on while BeetleClan holds grudges.

Yay! Sounds like a plan then :D Now that each of us has a clan, we can get down to some grittier details. We admins can be mostly in charge in ironing out the details of our clan and helpers can pipe up with any input.
Once we get the territory descriptions and landmarks sorted, ๐๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๊ค (sorry I realized I called you cactusblossom instead of bloom my last post!) can help with maps. Do you have a specific map-making site or do you typically start from scratch? I've done them on inkarnate before and would happily make them again, but we can collaborate as well c:

I use Inkarnate too! c: It's really useful, and can really make some awesome maps! I'd love to collaborate, we could both make like rough versions of the map, and then combine or work off each other's ideas. ^w^
Also don't worry about calling me Cactusblossom! Quiet a pretty name actually xD

Once weโve got a rough idea of what the territory and the overlay areas are Iโll get to work! >:3
Iโll also start thinking of some ideas for cool customs and traditions and stuff! One just off the top of my head though is maybe one of the clans is particularly theatrical? Like maybe itโs part of their culture that they value the arts, mainly arts that a cat CAN do, like possibly sing or tell stories. And maybe they even do this thing maybe once a year where they have a play, maybe based off a famous catโs heroic story or something? They wouldnโt be performing with like, costumes, but maybe they perform on a nice clean flat grassland that theyโve sort of groomed to be like a stage? I donโt know, Iโm just spit balling ideas so itโs totally ok if that one doesnโt stick!

I love the idea of a theatrical clan! Also, โโะพฯ - I'm trying to come up with some traditions for Waspclan, and since they're attitude is "We bow to no one", I was thinking they could be a clan that celebrates independence, and the ability to self-sustain? So maybe one of their main traditions could be this kind of test apprentices must pass to become a warrior, where they are forced into this dangerous forest just outside the territory and must survive on their own for three sunrises. If they fail, they're banished from the clan (or something else, doesn't have to be that dire of a consequence), but if they return alive they're made into warriors. Just an idea, but what d'you think? |

that sounds like a fantastic idea!!
moth def seems like the sort that would tell stories, and wasp would def have the tenancies for the theatrical and athletic.
Idk what beetle would specialize in. maybe something more traditional, like dance and song, to complement their stubbornness and readiness to stick to the past/old ways

And if all the Clans specialize in a type of performance, maybe there could be a tradition involving all the Clans where they meet once a season for a competition/showcase of their performances, as a way for the Clans to bond past their differences?
Edit: Maybe it could even be considered an honor to perform at the showcase, like only a few cats from each Clan are chosen by their leader to perform

Ahhh! I love this so much! The idea of them meeting up once a year go perform sounds so cool! Itโs like a little festival, and they can have cats who specifically go out to decorate the meeting area with a ton of flowers, they all have a feast and let their warriors and apprentinces perform! It could even be that only certain cats are chosen for that performance, so the stakes are dire or something! Like, you better win this for the clan or youโre going to make us look bad.

I posted the beginnings of a layout idea for Waspclan and can make the others in the same style once you give me an idea of the colors you'd like to use C: And let me know if there's anything I should change about the one I have so far!

primary colors would probably be best to get the vibes right
