i could help if i knew what you had in your fridge/pantry
you could try a simple homemade soup. just boil whatever noodles you have around in some bouillon broth and add whatever vegetables you have on hand.

As a college kid who has panic attacks anytime she's confronted with a kitchen, I feel you. My go-tos are:
- bowl of cereal
- ramen (with broccoli and chicken if I have it around)
- sandwich
- pasta and sauce (from a box and jar, respectively)
- freezer snacks (chicken nuggets, pizza rolls, corn dogs, etc.)
Not the healthiest options in the world, but you shouldn't be eating something off this list every day, just when you REALLY can't be bothered to bust out the cookware.

im kind of plain when it comes to food lol but like i never have the time or energy to actually make food and I'm always left to fend for myself, so sometimes ill cook up broccoli at the beginning of the week and then eat it throughout the week with cheese cooked on it. or i make oatmeal ahead, throw it in the fridge and then throw it back in the microwave for a min when i want it - either throw a banana, cinnamon, strawberries or chocolate in it or salsa (yumm) and thats like super quick, and i usually have like a cheese stick with it too lol or like maybe id have yogurt with pretzels and a cheese stick or something idk like just simple easy random things haha

A can of whatever I have that sounds the best (I always make sure to have at least 1 chicken noodle soup, 1 potato soup, and 1 chef boyardee spaghetti and meatballs on hand for just such occasions). All of them take less than 3 minutes in the microwave.

If I can’t be bothered to make/get anything else, I make pasta

i dont know if this counts but my go to is baked fish/chicken and vegetables, and i usually add some sort of carb like potatoes or rice to it its nothing super complicated, i usually buy a variety of frozen and then just throw them in the oven together in whatever combination im in the mood for lol

i pretty much exclusively live on microwave meals (or foods that can be microwaved, or otherwise prepared with ease).
when i don't feel like going downstairs to make food, i just go to bed hungry lmao.

mapo tofu or TKG (rice, soy sauce and a raw egg yolk) ... I haven't had salmonella yet, but I would still probably be wary if you're planning on eating raw eggs outside of Japan lol.

fried rice, because it's easy and filling. i usually have some ground pork on hand for the occasion and throw in whatever veggies are around.

if im desperate to have something good that isnt ramen, sometimes i make my own pasta and buy the alfredo sauce jars. cook pasta and mix in the sauce if u dont feel like making it. very easy, takes about 10 minutes. some sauces are pretty good

Chicken. I like to take a whole package of chicken and cook it all at once (usually in a pressure cooker with a little water or broth because I find that easiest, but it can be cooked on the stove top, baked, or grilled) and then I shred it. I usually use our mixer with the paddle attachment because I find it to be the easiest thing, though hand shredding (after it cools) works perfectly fine too. Using forks can work if you really don't want to get your hands dirty, but it digs into your skin after a while and really isn't comfortable to work with.
Anyway, with shredded chikcen, you can literally do almost anything. Assemble a salad and add it on top, put it over rice with some sauce, use it in soups, make a sandwich, make some chicken tacos, add it with noodles, etc. And because it's unlikely you'd get to all of it in a week (and I'm sure no one wants to have one thing almost every day), you can stick it in the freezer and save it for later. It keeps well.

Tbh, sometimes I'll have a scoop of peanut butter and/or bust out some croutons.
