While I think the narrative intent is pretty obvious, I think that if one omitted that then it'd be pretty easy to come up with an excuse. A dog ripping Claw apart would splatter blood everywhere and it wouldn't be unreasonable for Claw to be stepping in it if she was near the scene or if she tried to fight the dog.

Gremlin sees Fury as possibly worse than Scourge. So I'm pretty sure she did.

I'd be more surprised if she didn't kill him.

Definitely, the way Claw died under mysterious circumstances that only Fury knew about is too suspicious and obvious. I'd be surprised if she hadn't killed him.

We don’t really know, however, it could be that maybe Claw attacked Fury and Fury killed Claw in self defense? Or maybe there was a dog that mortally wounded Claw and Claw tells Fury to kill him so he wouldn’t die of his wounds?

Or maybe there was a dog that mortally wounded Claw and Claw tells Fury to kill him so he wouldn’t die of his wounds? On a side note, in the Warriors rewrite fanfiction I am working on, Redtail kills Oakheart by accidentally triggering a rock slide like in canon. The difference is that Tigerclaw doesn’t kill Redtail because of his ambition. Tigerclaw witnesses the rock slide and Redtail saying Oakheart is dead. He believes that Bluestar would attempt to justify or cover up Redtail’s actions since it was an accident. Though Tigerclaw mainly kills Redtail to punish him for breaking the code, a small part of his mind would be thinking that he would be taking Redtail’s place as deputy. I'm not sure how that's relevant to the topic. I feel like you should give it its own thread.

But I hate how they are showing one-eyed cats as super fierce and excellent fighters, such as One Eye and now Fury. It's an insult to Brightheart, who was shown in a less privileged light, not even having an apprentice minus Jaypaw What are you talking about? Brightheart was praised for her fighting skills in developing a style which even caught Firestar off-guard and she was able to make Lionblaze back off when she was defending her kits. She was always regarded as a pretty strong fighter.

Multiple cats praise her fighting skills. Jayfeather smacktalked her a few times, but he's one voice, and a voice without any ground to stand on regarding fighting skills either.

I agree about it sucking that Brightheart never got an apprentice, but other than Jayfeather being a brat, she's been shown to be a fantastic fighter, she once single handedly beat 5 WindClan cats, sure they were WindClan, but still.
