This is the joining page for DarkClan, one of the Clans in a 4-Clan morals-based RP. To join, please read through our joining rules and fill out the listed form.
Rules:
1. All names must either be feature-oriented or desert-oriented. No Oakstep, Minnowsplash, Thrushwing, etc.
2. The jackal, coyote, owl, and gila monster are all sacred animals in this RP. No name should contain the word "gila", "monster", "jackal", "coyote", or "owl".
3. Certain objects have different connotations in the desert. For example, a rose in this roleplay refers to the desert rose, an extremely poisonous plant. Thus, being named "Rose-" might be considered either a ferocious or an offensive thing, depending on how one looks at it. Another example is with "Fox-" names. The fennec fox is a small, relatively harmless creature, which is a big difference than the fox in the regular series. Thus, being named "Fox-" might imply that a cat is small or perhaps light brown, like the fennec fox. Please do your research while naming your cat(s).
4. Please use logic when naming your cat(s). A black and white cat is not going to be named Redpelt. Also, do not use man-made objects while naming your cat(s). Names like "Diamondpelt", "Bellapaw", and "Crystalwing" will be rejected.
5. Keep appearances and personalities realistic. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. Your cat also cannot have unrealistic features. The likelihood of your cat having a K-shaped mark on their side is extremely rare. And because this seems to still be a thing, your cat may not have piercings, wear jewelry, etc. Also, certain pelt colors are strictly not allowed. These include purple, green, pink, etc.
6. Certain pelt colors are rarer than others. According to adaptation logic, blacks and dark grays would be common as the Clan cats are nocturnal and dark colors provide good night camouflage. Browns, light gingers, light oranges, and whites would also be common as they blend better with the sand. Colors like blue-gray, red, bright ginger, light grey, dark orange, and similar are rare as they are not advantageous in a desert environment. Logically, cats with those colors would have a lot harder of a time finding mates, as according to the laws of nature one looks for good survival qualities in a mate. Thus, your cat(s) should stick to this rule's coloring guidelines.
7. Before joining, check to see if your desired cat name is taken. Repeat names will be rejected.
8. Fill out the joining application completely. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
9. You may not join with an apprentice and not make a warrior to go along with them. Also, please try to make both a she-cat and a tom. It isn't required, but recommended.

Personality: Like a true DarkClanner this cat only thinks of herself. She has no time to worry about others; whatever happens to another cat isn't her problem. She is also battle hungry and aggressive, even to her own Clanmates. If she feels the need to defend herself with her words or her claws, she's going to do as such. No cat gets across her. In her mind she is better than anybody else out there, the most important cat that has ever graced these desert lands. She will fight for the title of most important without any hesitation, drawing upon her fighting skills to seal the deal.
Appearance: This she-cat is larger than the average female, easily standing at a height that's average for a tom. She is muscular, and even through her thick fur it's easy to see. Scars dance upon her pelt from countless fights she has thrown herself into. This feline fits right into the nocturnal lifestyle with her solid black pelt. Amber eyes peer out from the darkness of her face like two little moons in the endless grip of night.

Personality: This tomcat is snappy and temperamental. He is most certainly not the friendliest cat around, always making fun of others and believing he's the best at everything and anything. He's impulsive, running into situations without thinking about the consequences - he worries about those later, and even then he doesn't pay too much attention. Easily angered when somebody tries to stop him from doing something, he lashes out mostly with sharp words, but his claws tend to not fall very far behind.
Appearance: A small, dark ruddy colored tomcat. His fur is sleek and close to his body, showing off his lithe form. Around his muzzle is a very faint dusting of white, but that is the only other color found upon his pelt other than the rusty hue of ruddy-red. While he is small he has long legs for his body with sleek, lithe muscles that are a lot more powerful than one might expect. He also has a very long and slender tail which allows him to balance a lot better than some of his Clanmates. He has copper eyes that shine bright in his angular head.

He generally stays quiet, especially to cats he doesn't know. He is very reserved, and minds his own business, hardly ever dabbling into another's matters unless it concerns him or the good of the clan. He isn't one to be seen laughing, and it would take a special cat to get him there. Adderstrike lives for his clan, and would do anything to protect it, even if that meant risking his own life. Though he might not seem good with others, he can be if it comes down to it. Appearance (be detailed): A slender, yet muscular brown tabby tom. There isn't much to Adderstrike's appearance, as it is a very typical coat coloring, but along his stomach his belly fur seems to be a bit more ruffled and soft than the rest of his body. His tail is tipped in black, the same color as the tabby markings on his goldenish-brown pelt. Adderstrike has a small bit of white on his chin, leaving that to be the only "odd" color on his body. The very tip of his right ear is torn, and he has bright green eyes. She may seem a bit rough around the edges at times, given the fact that she can be very unpredictable,but for the most part, you never know what you're going to get with her. At times she might seem comical and laid back, and others she might be cunning and sneaky. She is unpredictable, a true charmer. She has a way of getting what she wants, exactly when she wants it. Appearance (be detailed): Gila is a dark gray she-cat with a slightly smushed in face. Her nose is a deep, almost black, gray color, and her eyes are a yellowish-brown. Her pelt is thick and almost fluffy. She has small, dark gray tufts of fur coming out of her ears. This she-cat blends in easily with the shadows, which aids her mysterious nature. The most interesting and striking feature of Gila is her tail, or really, lack there of. She has a simple bobbed tail, that is practically nonexistent. She's an outsider, so she doesn't have to respect those beliefs. Therefore, her name is fine. If she ever joins the Clans, however, her name will have to change.

Lizardstrike is the typical DarkClan warrior. She's prideful and knows just what she wants and exactly how to get it. She is blunt and fiery, not afraid to speak her mind, no matter the subject. Just like the latter part of Lizardstrike's name, she has a tendency to strike out at others she doesn't agree with, especially when others try to come between her and what she calls her own. Lizardstrike is a protective she-cat, and if anyone were to try and attack anyone she loved or cared for, she wouldn't hesitate to lash out at them with tooth and claw. Appearance (be detailed): Lizardstrike is a thin and lanky she-cat. She has long limbs and a sleek pelt that is a rich brown, almost looking light and golden in certain light. She has large ears and pinkish colored nose, along with long whiskers protruding from her also long muzzle. She has a triangular shaped face. Nothing about this she-cat is small. While she might not look muscular, she is certainly is and goes about it with a certain grace and elegance. Lizardstrike's eyes are also fitting to her name.
