In French class I just picked my French name, I didn't get to take French last year, but oh well I'm taking it now, I chose Renée, I though it sounded pretty, and it's better than my American name, Sarah, it's too common

Sarah is actually Hebrew, meaning "Princess."
But I get what you're saying. Both my first and middle names are some of the most common in the united states, and there's probably ~100k people with my name in this nation alone

I'm cursed with a name that I rarely ever find spelled correctly :/ I went by Brigette when I was in French

My name is French so I used it as my French class name.

When I took French in school, I used the name Monique or my real name since it too is French.
