Dreamlily sighed as she watched Echowing silently storm past her, fur bristling as she ignored Frostyfoot the moment he tried to speak to her. The tom's ears fell, and Dreamlily felt an ache of guilt for it. She waited until Echowing left to join a patrol before she padded up to her father's side, brushing her muzzle to his shoulder. Frostyfoot sighed miserably, but pressed close to his other daughter.
Flarestorm sat upon the highest cliff ledge in camp, seeming surprisingly mellow and non-talkative, not feeling up for any flirting or goofing around when all he could think about was how long it was taking for Skyclan's prey to come back.
Emberpaw was practicing her battle moves, wanting to show off to her father.

Spiderpaw shook out his pelt as he walked through the camp entrance. The charred bits of the brambles and acorns dusted his pelt and he was getting tired of all the cleaning he had to do because of it. A couple herbs were held gently in his mouth and he padded over to the medicine cat den. He kept his gaze fixed on the den. He didn't want to talk to anyone, didn't want to acknowledge the new warriors and their new names. He just wanted to be prepared in case anything happened around the camp he needed to tend too. He also needed to check up on Lavendersky.
Splashecho shared tongues with Sootwhisker.
Flyingpaw was practicing her climbing again. She was determined to be able to make it from the bottom of camp all the way up the cliff to the top of Skystar Tree.

Flyingpaw swelled at her mentor's praise. "I'm going to be the best climber in the Clan!" She jumped down to land in front of her mentor. It wasn't the most graceful, but she was working on that. "No cat alive will run the trees like me!"

Flyingpaw swelled at her mentor's praise. "I'm going to be the best climber in the Clan!" She jumped down to land in front of her mentor. It wasn't the most graceful, but she was working on that. "No cat alive will run the trees like me!" “You truly have your heart set on this…” Redspring murmured, now realizing that her apprentice was not exaggerating in her long set desire to climb to the highest point in the Clans. Redspring blinked once, before she sighed and relented with a small smirk. “Alright then. I think it’s time then that we start to step up your training difficulty. We’ll climb taller trees, and start practicing branch hopping. Do you think you’re ready? Because it will not be easy.” |

Blackfire sat by the camp entrance, grooming her pelt as she waited for the rest of the border patrol to gather. She glanced around at the camp, wondering if anything interesting would happen on patrol.
Firepaw was waiting for Buzzardfall, ready for border patrol.

Willownose nodded in greeting to Blackfire, shaking out her pelt and getting ready for the patrol. She didn't think anything would happen. Maybe they'd find some more prey in the trees since Leafbare was almost over.

Buzzardfall scampered up towards Firepaw and the other Warriors, eyes bright as she mewed. "Ready to go! I've been wanting to stretch my paws all day. Always great fun to go on patrol with my favorite apprentice." She teased, her kinked fur making her look like a spikeball as she glanced at her apprentice.

Soon the skyclan border was in sight. Russetfox suddenly got a little nervous. What if they didn’t agree? Thunderclan needed the prey and herbs. She looked towards Ghostscreech.

Blackfire stood up as the others arrived, “Everyone ready?” She asked, nodding in greeting to them, “Let’s head out. We’re checking the ShadowClan and ThunderClan borders today.” She said.
Firepaw rolled his eyes at his mentor and followed after Blackfire and the others, “I’m your only apprentice.” He muttered.

Peachdapple peered calmly at the Skyclan border, able to recognize already there were signs of growth of other plants once Thunderclan's earthy soil stared to become more rocky and sandy, a staple of Skyclan's territory. She looked at Ghostscreech and Russetfox, mewing out. "Looks like a peaceful area. Borders are certainly marked properly. A sign of good patrols."

"Aaand, my favorite apprentice." Buzzardfall corrected Firepaw with a quirk of her muzzle, before she quickly fell behind Blackfire and chattered out. "Only apprentice is automatically a favorite one, unless you just never ever get along with them ever, but I absolutely adore you, your blunt tongue and grumpy face too, all of it." She looked around quickly, full of her usual energy.

Flyingpaw perked up and craned her neck to get a good look at Skystar Tree. "Father said every apprentice has to climb to the top before they can become warriors. I'm going to be the first of my siblings to do it!"
