» Rem Larime
• 15 years old • district 2 • female •
Rem is not the type of person one would picture when asked to imagine a Hunger Games tribute. She is petite and feminine in stature, standing at about 5'4. She has long limbs and a thin, almost boyish build. Her hair is golden brown and wavy in texture, so she typically wears it in braids or other updos. She has thin wrists, large eyes, and a cute nose. Her eyes are medium-light brown and she has warm-toned pale skin. Outside of the games, she is a very fashionable person. She often remarks on her lack of muscle (as a way of bigger people to do things for her) and she hates her hair, which before the Games she decided to chop into bangs. As far as personality goes, Rem is also not really suited for the Hunger Games. She is skilled with her weapon of choice, which is how she got such a high deadliness rating, but she has very limited survival skills. In fact, she hates the outdoors. Her parents never made her get her hands dirty growing up, and that much is evident by how she stands when she's outside (arms crossed, brows pinched). All these things said, Rem does like to pretend to be more useless than she is. She actually has a pretty good head on her shoulders and is rather smart. She can be rather bossy and manipulative, but she has a way of surrounding herself with the best people. And she can be ruthless when she needs to be. - Deadliness rating out of 12: 9
- Weapon of choice is throwing knives
- Career Alliance (
they're carrying her)

» Kaus Reynolds
• 16 years old • district 9 • male •
Kaus has a dark energy to him, which outside of the Hunger Games made him a bit of an outcast, but inside them he's the man of the hour. He is taller than most people, standing at a solid 5'11, though he's young enough that he could grow more (if he survives, and spoiler alert, he won't). He has a skinny build but he is broad in the shoulders and he has large hands. His hair, which is nearly black, is fine in texture with loose curls. It is longer on the top, shorter on the sides. He has dark blue eyes and a hawkish nose. His brows are a defining feature, dark and finely curved. He comes from District 9 which specializes in textiles, so he's great when working with his hands and he has a mind for fine detail. Kaus' primary personality trait is that he's smart. If you don't think that's a personality trait, then try meeting Kaus in person. He is often spitting off random facts and reciting obscure literature. He's not the most fun or charismatic person, as he often makes others uncomfortable. His energy is intense and domineering. He always has an opinion about something and he rarely plays his cards close to his chest. He lacks subtly, but he is better equipped to jump head first into things than most people, which is why he's one of the favorites to win the games. - Deadliness rating out of 12: 11
- Weapon of choice: His mind, also snares
- Belongs to the Outlier Alliance, though he feels no loyalty toward them (open to secret alliances)

» Nero Longfang
• 38 • gamekeeper • male •
Nero is a famous man in Panem, not only for his gamekeeping but for his role in the war. He was a hero who helped to put President Alwood in power. It is from this background that he gets his strategic and warlike mind. As Head Gamekeeper, he is known for making brutal arenas. He has a ruthless imagination. In person, however, he is also incredibly charming. He's outgoing, confident, and proud. He has all of the wealthiest men in Panem in his back pocket. When it comes the the Games, he sees it all as business. He feels little remorse for the lives that are lost in the process, thinking of them as casualties of maintaining the status quo. He is not in the habit of self-reflection, and his pride drips from every inch of his being. For a while Nero was considered one of the most sought-after bachelors in the Capitol. Though he is no longer a soldier, he has the body for it: tall, muscular, chiseled. Though he is reaching the end of his prime, he has aged well. He has tanned skin and sculpted golden hair. His key characteristic is the fact that he wears a lot of jewelry: gold rings, a spattering of ear rings, and a septum piercing. He has a charming smile and green eyes. - Works directly for President Alwood
- Has been the Head Gamekeeper of the Hunger Games for six years
- He has no family

» Perseus Celestia
• seventeen • district 1 • male •
A slender, yet tall and silent young man, Perseus is someone you would expect to be a volunteer for such a thing as the Hunger Games. Standing at 6'2" tall (188 cm), this extremely pale, yet calm individual has more of a longer, lanky stature to him. His eyes are a dark blue color, mixing well with his ebony black hair which, while he maintains the grooming to keep it smooth, it often ends up a bit fluffy and unruly by the end of the day. His bangs are always swept to the left of his face, half of the time covering up his eye, in which, he's blind in. It would be strange for someone not to speak, but, that's that, with this fellow. Even if he is from District 1, his glamour and fashion comes from his body, not from his mouth. In fact, the boy uses more of sign language rather than to talk, not liking to speak much. It's not that he can't, it's that he chooses not to. Skilled with strange weapons, not typically your average-day fighter, Perseus has been trained from a young age to use all sorts of weapons. His favorites, however, are the chakram and the scythe. He's cold, calculating and typically has on a brave face, always focused and keeping his head held up high, unfaltering in the public eye, just as he was trained to do. - Deadliness rating out of 12?: 11
- Weapon of Choice: Chakram.
- Alliance: to be determined

» Sunflower Solari
• thirteen • district 9 • female •
Sunflower, known as Sunny, is a small girl, coming from a larger family and not having really having any business being a tribute for such a thing as this. Thin and small, standing merely at 4'8" tall, her little frame might be easy to pass up, but that long ginger hair that flares like fire in the sunlight is more than easy to catch the eye of any passing stranger. Her golden brown eyes are often bright and excited, wanting to know more and more about the world around her, under normal circumstances. Sunny has tanned skin from working quite often, so she does have a slight muscular build to her, though the malnutrition easily shows with her. Almost always behind her right ear is a sunflower pendant, something from her family before her name was chosen. Though she's not powerful, she's quick to learn and she's honestly a sweet and devoted little thing. - Deadliness rating out of 12?: 3
- Weapon of choice: short sword
- Alliances: to be decided

» Ashley Mavis
• fourteen • district seven • male •
Ash is a tanned boy with freckles all over his body. His dark hair is cut short to his head, and he has large dark eyes. His left shoulder is faintly scarred, and his jaw is set noticeably askew due to a work accident that happened when he was twelve; and he fell from a tree. Several teeth on the right side were left in poor condition from the accident. Courtesy to his work, his upper body is well muscled for his age. He is a boy who is well acquainted with his instincts - as he has witnessed/treated several severe injuries on the work grounds. These experiences have given Ash a limited knowledge in first aid and a well trained reflex to respond offensively to extreme situations. (A ‘fight’ instinct) His social skills are poor, and most humor eludes him. While he struggles in conversation, he is a generally positive person and enjoys company who will reciprocate his energy. - Deadliness rating out of 12 - 7
- Weapon of choice - war axe variants/hatchet
- Alliances/subplots - Sol
» Simic Ford
• seventeen • district 8 • male •
Simic is a lanky, pale kid with curly hair he keeps pulled up. His eyes are a pretty aqua color, and his face is littered with acne scars across his cheeks. He stands taller than average, though he minimizes his height through an awkward hunch. Akin to his bad posture, he spends most of his time trying to redirect the attention that comes his way. With a safety net of sarcasm, he expresses great confidence that he stands no chance in the Games. His lax attitude acted in contrary to the great trouble he had get comfortable in the Capital during training. Simic has several siblings at home, all who he is older than. When not taking inconsistent job offerings, he spent most of his time cooking for or caring for his siblings. He has a halfway decent understanding of edible vegetation, and some first aid experience. - Deadliness rating out of 12? - 5
- Weapon of choice - sword
- Alliances - Outliner(??)

» Solaris "Sol" Xiao
• 12 • district 8 • female •
Sol is extremely small for her size, with pale skin and very thick, fine black hair that comes down to her shoulders, but looks shorter because it puffs out in all directions. She is 100% blind since birth. Personality wise, Sol is cynical, rebellious, and completely fearless. She has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and acts much older than her actual age, mostly due to the circumstances of her childhood. She is highly extroverted, and strongly dislikes being alone for any extended period of time. She struggles to control feelings of anger and can be impulsive due to this trait. Sol was orphaned at the age of one during a raid on her district by the Peacekeepers, and was raised in a sewing shop by the employees. She is highly skilled at her craft, and intends to take over the shop when the current owner dies or retires. Due to the high security in District 8, she is very familiar with the Peacekeepers. She has a deep hatred of the Capitol and all they stand for, seeing them as power-tripping, bloodthirsty murderers and nothing more. - Deadliness rating out of 12? 9/12. Poor physical strength, but fast, clever, and good with her hands. Relies on speed, agility, and precision to win fights.
- Weapon of choice: Small, sharp knife
- Alliances/subplots: Allies with Ashley Mavis.
- (Top 12)
» Acacius Dallarosa
• 17 • district 12 • male •
Acacius is a slim, unassuming-looking boy with light brown skin and thick black hair that falls in tufts around his face and goes nearly to his shoulders. Acacius is a gentle soul - he seems to always have a quiet smile on his face and a kind word for whoever might need it. He is, however, very shy, and usually keeps to himself. He's a musician, and spends all the time he possibly can on music: writing songs, playing his instrument(a guitar-like instrument), and singing along with his own accompaniment. He has no taste for violence, and is terrified of the Games. He does not expect to make it home. Acacius grew up in a large family with a mother and father, five siblings, and even more cousins and extended family. He grew up in a loving, hardworking home that had more than their fair share of struggles and leaned on each other to make it through. - Deadliness rating out of 12? 1/12
- Weapon of choice: Net
- Alliances/subplots: None yet

» Charon Fournier
• 13 years old • district 1 • female •
Charon Fournier is short, even for a 13 year old girl. She stands at just under 4'10 at an average weight. Though she is physically small, she has a broad build and usually stands with her feet apart. Charon is fair-skinned, with freckles sparsely dotted across her complexion. White scars of all shapes and sizes mark her arms and legs. Her wavy hair is cut in a bob that ends abruptly beneath her earlobes. Her dark brown bangs are also cut abruptly above her eyebrows; the edge is jagged and messy, like she tried to cut her hair by herself but didn't know how to do it right. If she had a motto, it would be "An eye for an eye." Charon always gets back at those who hurt her. If, by some miracle, she has nobody to fight, she will go out looking for one. However, even a volatile girl like Charon has her boundaries; she doesn't pick fights with representatives of the Capitol or other important higher-ups, but she isn't quick to trust them either. In fact, Charon is skeptical of everyone she meets. She is manipulative and assumes everyone else is too. Charon had been an aggressive young girl, and her parents nurtured that hostility into training for athletics and combat. She had a natural talent for it and found great enjoyment in taking down opponents. She'd often risk her own safety in search of good fights, and before long Charon had begun to train for the Hunger Games. She never imagined that she would be picked. Although Charon is one of the best fighters in her district, a small part of her wonders if she'll live to be fourteen years old. - Deadliness rating out of 12? 10
- Weapon of choice: hammer, bat, crowbar (anything short, heavy, and blunt)

» Blaise Barr
• 17 years old • district 2 • male •
Blaise is a lanky tall guy and stands at 6'4. Though he looks twiggy, the little mass he does have is mostly muscle, and what he lacks in muscle he makes up in willpower. He is fair-skinned, but his face, neck, and lower arms are a bit darker from sun exposure. His dull blond curls haven't been trimmed in months, covering his neck and falling over his ears and finally ending just above his shoulders. He likes to keep his face clean shaven though. At first glance, Blaise is stoic and not very approachable. He's blunt when he speaks, preferring to get straight to the point. Some will accuse him of lacking common courtesy; it is common for people to say he is socially awkward. Though Blaise lacks expression in his words, his kindness can be seen in everything else he does—he helps his neighbors carry things and fulfills favors for strangers. At times he lets his kindness become his weakness. Blaise is honest and likes to help others, even if it might be at his own expense. He would rather cooperate than compete. While growing up, most of his peers were on one of three tracks: training for the Hunger Games, studying to go live in the Capitol, or working in a factory. Blaise had chosen factory work. He wanted little to do with murder and never liked the cutthroat nature of politics. However, Blaise was the oldest of four total children, and each year he would enter his name four times to ensure that his siblings wouldn't be chosen. He never thought he'd be picked this year to die in the Hunger Games, but he's happy to do it if it means the rest of his family is spared. - Deadliness rating out of 12? 6
- Weapon of choice: short blades (knives, razors) or a gun
- Alliances/subplots: Outliers (weak loyalty)

» Styx Deirdre
• 15 • District 7 • Female •
Styx has a rough life back at home. Tiny as can be, malnourished and not as strong as her cousins, she was often written off as useless due to her inability to chop down the wood and lumber that is the expected skill of her district. She's short, skimming 5 feet tall, and has hair that is dark in color, with eyes of silver hue. She's pale, and almost always has dark circles under her eyes. She is one of the smallest people perhaps in the games, and seems physically weak. Her skills are various in degree, while lacking in physical strength, she is quick, very good at climbing, adaptable, and clever. It's also a known fact that her morality is a bit in a grey area. Styx has a history of abuse after the death of her parents, and as such, has picked up skills of escape and has a rather high pain tolerance. Almost more animal like than she is human at times. Styx also is known to use scythes, as she used them back in District 7 to cut grass, a job that she was able to do despite her stunted growth. - Deadliness rating: 7/12
- Weapon of choice: Scythe or Sickle

» Casper Rhineheart
• 18 • district 4 • Male •
Casper is a darker skinned boy, who stands tall with eyes of amber. His hair is a dark brunette color, and he is lean and strong. Like many from District 4, Casper is skilled with fishing, swimming, and with harpoons. However, he is much too docile for the games. He has an intimidating figure, tall and strong, but is indeed a big softy at heart. With skills of swimming, strength, fishing, and a charming personality, Casper doesn't quite have the heart to be a true career. He volunteered in place of his younger brother. Casper may lack in many regards, namely in cleverness, he makes it up in heart. Too bad heart isn't enough for the games. Despite his abilities to go far in the games, he falls short in his morale. - Deadliness rating: 8/12

» Sage Stolz
• 14 years old • district 6 • female •
Sage is tall for her age, with her full height at 5'6. However she often appears shorter due to bad posture. Her skin is a light olive tone and tans easily, and she wears her straight dark-brown hair in a low ponytail. She and her family primarily worked in manufacturing or building security, and it shows in Sage's slim but muscular build. Sage was always known to be clever and quick-thinking. Along with her brother, the two of them were behind every prank in the neighborhood. Unlike her brother, who would rather build his own contraptions to mess with his friends, Sage liked to figure out how pre-existing infrastructure worked, and then sought to disrupt them. In her 14 years of life, Sage had dug secret tunnels around her home, blocked radio frequencies, and blown out all the lightbulbs in a Peacemaker building. Her parents were always supportive of their children's pranks, especially when they caused problems for their oppressors. Unfortunately, they never expected that both of their children would be picked for the Hunger Games. Her parents wondered if it was due to the years of sabotage on the Peacemakers. Sage just wants her and Everest to survive together. - Deadliness rating out of 12? 6

» Everest Stolz
• 16 years old • district 6 • male •
Everest looks fairly average—light brown skin, reasonably built from his district, and straight brown hair. He stands at 5'7. Though he comes from a more impoverished district, Everest was lucky enough to not go hungry most days, as his parents were management workers in the factories rather than low-level manufacturers. Everest was always inclined to do mischief as a kid. He also loved building things. When his younger sister echoed his desires to screw over the upper class with her own pranks, his interest in pranks turned to a wild love for watching the authorities go down. He had set the example for her by building traps around the house for their parents while Sage and Everest as young kids would laugh together. As the duo became older, they became separate, but still close. Everest hated the Peacemakers and wanted them to suffer as much as they made his poorer and unluckier friends suffer. He hated how his family put on the facade of loyalty, when he knew they hated them too. After all, why would they support his and Sage's sabotages on the District 6 Peacemakers? Everest was not surprised when he and Sage were chosen to die in the Hunger Games. They had it coming, and it seemed his family felt the same way. The night before Everest and Sage left to the Capitol, his parents told him to protect his younger sister. This is his main goal. - Deadliness rating out of 12? 7

» Jett Darrow
• age 15 • district 5 • male •
Jett was not built for the Hunger Games. He is not particularly fit. In fact, he's rather on the husky side. He cannot run fast and he has no experience with weapons. The only thing he has going for him physically is the fact that he's possibly the biggest tribute. He stands at just over six feet tall, and his weight gives him a strength advantage over most. Jett has naturally darker skin and dark eyes. His hair is thick and straight. He clearly had no style in mind when he had it cut last. It hangs around his face in haphazard fashion. Jett has a round face, intelligent eyes, and a broad nose. As far as personality goes, Jett deserves more credit than he gets. He has a good sense of humor and he is much smarter than most kids his age. He's rather good at a few things, though none of them are helpful to him in the games. One of those things is that he is excellent with computers. He can code better than many adults, and at his school he was considered a top prospect for future careers. He never expected to be chosen for the Hunger Games. Jett has a reserved, inoffensive personality. He typically stays out of the way and does not generally like conflict. He joined the careers because he figured they would get him through the first bloodbath. He knows they view him as the weak link, and he views the alliance as a short term solution. - Deadliness rating out of 12: 6
- Weapon of choice: None, he never learned to use weapons. He's good with mechanical things and computers.

» Circe Falke
• age 17 • district 3 • female •
Circe is a force of nature. At 5'10, she's much taller than most girls. She's also muscular with wide hips and strong arms. She has an overbearing energy that makes her difficult to ignore in a room of people. Her skin is on the paler side and she has long hair that's dyed silver with dark roots. She typically wears it up in a high ponytail. She has dark eyes, thin eye brows, and high cheekbones. She is not overweight, but she is fuller figured. She did not grow up using weapons, given her district is dedicated to technology, but she does have a dominating physical presence. As a child, she often felt as though she was born in the wrong district. She is not technologically inclined. In fact, she is not very academically or scientifically inclined at all. As a child, she was much more invested in sports and physical activities. She played on all of the teams growing up and was constantly gallivanting around her town with her friends. Circe has a strong personality. She often lacks self-awareness and people are prone to rolling their eyes when she walks away from a conversation. She is incredibly confident, proud, and ambitious. She considers herself a lock for the top five of the games, though the gamekeepers gave her a low deadliness score and her mentors think she's thick-skulled. - Deadliness rating out of 12: 7

» Chauncey Forsyth
• age 16 • district 11 • male •
First of eight siblings that just did not get along in a family full of chiselers. A significant contributor to his presence in the Games was the very substantial number of superfluous tesserae he took out over three years, originally an outburst of near suicidal frustration and eventually reckless faith in his own luck after surviving a pair of lotteries. At home, he was known to wait until his siblings were required in the fields, and then host feasts for whoever happened to have a day off. He further had just begun a habit of small, private dinners that made his home town's fathers increasingly suspicious. Consequently, Forsyth is relatively well fed for a laborer. He stands 5' 8" and weighs a suspiciously healthy 135 lbs. Two further consequences follow: he has an extremely high opinion of his own work ethic, having never equated his supplemented diet to increased energy; and he is a passable chef. A mixture of his early experiences, the living conditions, and his interaction with the Capitol has led him to conclude that cities are responsible for all decay in the world, that schooling replaces intelligence with foppishness, and, by the start of the Games, that cities were subsidizing the break up of agrarian families in order to keep them divided. He isn't rated that highly. He thinks the city folk are underrating his talents, and that the tests and training was all rigged. After all, the career volunteers all come from cities! - Deadliness rating out of 12?: 6

» Eschina Sturges
• age 14 • district 10 • female •
Eschina is the 9th of 11 children, a burden that wiped out her mother when Eschina was 4. Her father, better at producing kids than raising them, took from the pastures to the bottle, and it was up to the Sturges kids to keep themselves together. For years, their entire subsistence was the tesserae. For a long time they were lucky, and then suddenly they weren't. Growing up, Eschina was noted particularly for being a straight shooter. Any time any of her siblings did something illicit to help them survive, they would have to hide it from her, lest she be asked about it by a government official. The preliminary interviews might have led some commentators to compare her to a burgeoning Ado Annie. Compared to the effects of munitions grade soap and broken plumbing on the dusty plains, the posh hotel showers and the TV makeup artists had an extraordinary effect on her. She was less impressed by the combat training, which involved a lot of getting beat up and a whole lot of contemplating the nature of mortality. She can sort of poke people with pointed sticks from a long way away, draw a bow with maybe 40 lbs of drawweight, and can throw sling rocks at a blistering 75 miles per hour with frightfully unreliable accuracy. Nevertheless, she is remarkably sanguine about the whole matter, reasoning that somebody in her family was going to get stuck being tribute and perhaps she isn't so badly off; she is not the one at home watching her siblings get murdered by the government. - Deadliness rating out of 12?: 4
