Hello,
I was wondering, is there a way one can stop getting notified with the "new" button on their participated threads? I hope this makes sense.

When you open your participation tab, click the boxes to the side of each thread that you don't want to be notified for anymore, and scroll over to actions and go to "mark read", but don't click and hover over it and it should list some time frames(now, a day, a week, a month, forever) then click "forever"
since your on mobile (preferably in Desktop mode), it might be easier to hold down the threads you don't want, after holding down on the thread, click the white box to side, then go up to "mark read" and hold down, don't click, and then a drop tab will appear with the same time frames, then tap on forever.
