So I wrote out some stuff, tried to post it, and my internet crashed and deleted it all. XD
Anyway, yeah, the joining form would be helpful. ^.^
I will write out the rules, but I can't promise they will be the best. I'm usually pretty laid-back with the rules, so please add in whatever you want.
And then all we have to do is the intro, right?
Also, I was thinking, couldn't some of the characters maybe be people who are temporarily at the center for help getting a service dog? XD

Rules - No spamming. - No powerplaying or godmodding. - No roleplaying another person's character without permission. - Please, no mary-sues or gary-stus. Not everyone is perfect. - You do not have to be completely literate, but please use correct grammar and no text talk. - And of course, follow the forum rules!

Yay! We're almost there!
Although we still don't have a name. XD
I'm not even sure how to do the intro since it could be a number of different people coming in... I'm thinking maybe the intro should just generally discuss what the training center does.

Alright. I'll wait to write it until after we choose a name. ^.^
I'm trying to think of names, and it is just not working. XD

Alright! I'll work on the intro later. I'm busy right now. Dx
Should we develop the city a bit, too? Like, at least the name.

Also, should we get a fancy layout, or keep it simple?

Sure, but I wouldn't put too much thought into the city, unless you want to include something specific to go along with the city. It would be good to know the kind of city the center is located, but I wouldn't go into too much detail.
As for the layout, that's completely up to you. I personally don't care if we have a fancy layout, but if you think it would look better, then go for it.
Joining form
Screen Name: Character Name: Gender: Age: Staff, Volunteer, or Patient (Or should we call them Clients?): Description: Personality: If Staff/Volunteer, which position?: If Patient, what disability?: Other:

Yeah, I think just the name would be fine. My default name for any city is Westbrook. XD Do you have better ideas, or are you find with going with that?
I also do not like layouts, so good. XD
That joining form is perfect! ^.^ Although I also don't know if we should call them clients or patients...
I will write up the intro a little later. Still busy right now, but I will try to make time. And then we can organize the whole thing in a nice little layout and then I can put it up and we can roleplay! ^.^

Yay! Perfect. I'm so excited to start.
So from the looks of it, I won't be able to make the intro until late tonight. We're trying to set up a yard sale right now. Dx

As for the names of the people who need dogs... I'm going to look on some service dog websites and see, but I think clients sounds better.

The city of Westbrook: a town that can't quite be called small, but that can also not be referred to as a metropolis.
Situated on the outskirts of Westbrook on quite a few acres of land is a training center called Furry Company. Here, dogs are trained to be the new companions for people with any number of disabilities. Blindness, deafness, seizures... Furry Company manages to do it all.
When first arriving, you will notice the main building. This is where the main office is. By the looks of the cozy building, you can tell that it was once a house, now reinvented to be the main office. When you first walk in, you come across a secretary desk. In the back, there is a singular office for the manager, Kat Evermore. There are a few other offices that are used by other trainers if need be, along with a break room.
Traveling outside of this cozy little building, you will come across the main facilities. It is a huge building that was originally a barn for cows, then turned into a normal kennel, and then turned into a training facility.
Inside, there are several rooms with floor to ceiling glass windows so that you may watch what is going on. In one, puppies tumble across the floor as they're evaluated on whether or not they are service dog material or belong with a family. In another, an older puppy is learning the basics of training with a couple others to provide distractions. In another, you see someone working with their soon-to-be permanent service dog. There are six of these identical training rooms, although only the three are being occupied.
As you come to the end, you walk through a door to find kennels to either side of you. In the first few, you see some of the older dogs waiting to be placed. In the back, in some of the bigger kennels, are mother dogs with their young puppies. There are not many of these as Furry Company does not focus on the breeding of service dogs, just the training, but these were a special case.
Traveling back outside, you can see several outdoor pens for the exercise of the service dogs. A couple of these pens are set up to be like real life instances, such as crossing a street.
This if Furry Company, where dogs are trained to better the lives of many.

I'm also wondering if maybe there should be a list of the current dogs enrolled in the center with information about where they're at in training, who they are expected to be paired up with, etc.
