The Ancient Evil (A D&D Roleplay)

Ok just seeing this and I love the ‘normal human but super strong’ type characters :0 )

(i want to make her a storm herald barbarian so she'll get this really cool sea storm aura and deal lightning damage when she's in a rage heh heh heh >u> )

The dark elf just nodded. "Aurora, go!" He commanded, the silver wold by his side suddenly bounding forward and trying to snap at the shadowy figure, growling at it and looking back to Jag. Using his wolf to fight, Jag was able to run forward more, closing distance and standing near Kira now. "Where did these things come from? Are they even taking damage?" He asked, sounding frustrated that the first time he's meeting these people are in combat.

Kira shook her head, "I dont know, they just came from the shadows suddenly...." She told the newcomer. "Now that im thinking about it..." She started before calling to the rest of the group. "Check the trees! See if you cant find anyone! I think these are suppose to distract us." She exclaimed checking the woods around them quickly while dodging the attacks from the shadow creature.

She's loud and rambunctious and once she starts drinking, it's hard for her to stop. However, she means well and is committed to her crewmates, not to ideals. She'll always remember her first ship. // 3 Proficient Traits - Strength, Charisma, Constitution //3 Unproficient Traits: Wisdom, Intelligence, Dexterity // Kos is a tall and toned woman, standing at about 5'10". She has long, pale blonde hair that she usually wears in a ponytail with a couple of braids woven into her hair. She has blue, almost gray eyes. Kos has a tattoo of eagle wings on the back of her shoulders that seem to cover up a slew of lightning scars that stem out from her back to her shoulders. Kos usually wears a one shouldered gray bandeau, a long dark red loincloth skirt along with furs that she wears around her hips and a short fur cape. She wears a long necklace that's adorned with treasures such as feathers, teeth, and claws from previous hunts. // Kos grew up in a small tribe where her father was the first one to bring her on a boat, that's when she fell in love with the sea. When she was old enough she stowed away on a ship and worked as a crew member. Unfortunately, one night her and the rest of the crew found themselves sailing right into a storm. Lightning struck Kos and destroyed her shipmates and the boat. Miraculously Kossette survived, now adorned with scars and a newly awakened rage. Her main weapon is a morning star. // 𝑅𝒶𝒾𝓃𝓎🌧

(Could you replace Winter with Kossette please?? I'm just more inspired by this character than I am with Winter uwu )

"Yes, I do," Luciel said in response to Elyel. "Guiding bolt is my best radiant spell at the moment." She moved closer to the warlock, face full of concern for her companion, and reached out to pull Elyel behind her. Once Elyel was safely behind her and her shield, Luciel reached out her hand to prepare the spell once more. The cleric repeated the spell's name with a bit of an edge to her voice this time and bright light shot toward the shadows.

The Shadow that was subjected to Luciels radiant spell screeched an earsplitting scream before disappearing before their eyes. Three more Shadows remained, slightly hesitant, but still unafraid to come forth towards their targets. One angrily tried to grab Jag, while the other three focus on Luciel, realizing she was their biggest threat.

Garren nodded. "Oh yes please do that again." He passed his sword harmlessly through another Shadow, only making it hesitate again. Sweat beads were beginning to form on in his forehead frin the exertion and the power the Shadows had. His eyes flicked to Jag. "Hail stranger. Awkward time to come aboard."

Elyel grimaced. "So we can't touch them and they can't touch us and they are resistant to everything but radiant magic. Fantastic." She huffed, suddenly wishing her patron had offered her more radiant magic. Unfortunately, that was just the life of a Warlock, she silently mused, wondering if she could strike up some deal later on with her magic. Probably not, she reasoned to herself, they arent the best to bargain with.

"Well, welcome anyway, newest companion!" Garren bellowed as he swung his sword again through the Shadows. The one he was relentlessly swiping at was slowly becoming more and more transparent. Very slowly. "Become relentless, comrades and we will push them back to mist!"

Jag’s mindset was looking more like Luca’s, but Garren’s encouraging words makes him groan as he clenches the rapier in his hands and begins to slash away at the Shadow and him Kira have been working at. “Name’s Jag.” He called out.

Kira pulled back some and looked at the other shadows. "Names Kira..." She told him as she took another swipe. "Why did they have to come as soon as we started our journey..." She mumbled shaking her head.

"Nothing comes easy for adventurers." Elyel mused in with Kira. She stared at Luca up the tree and gave out shout of warning. "No, don't go in to the shadows!!!"

Her warning came at the same time a Shadow emerged directly behind Luca seeming to come directly from the shadows the tree produced , its wispy fingers diving towards the cat-boy as if to grab him and suck the life from him.
