The Ancient Evil (A D&D Roleplay)

The shadows ahead seemed to twists in front of them in unnatural ways. Elyel squinted, trying to discern anything out of the ordinary. The feeling in the air was off, an almost cold and formidable feeling of great doom as if something was approaching them. That was when three Shadows in front of them rose in to the air, their long, deformed, wispy fingers reaching out towards the party.

Luciel, who had been quietly blending into the group, now moved to stand closer to the front. Her shield was lifted defensively and her free hand was moving toward the mace at her hip.

Winter Breath // 21 // Female // Tabaxi // Druid; Circle of Moon // Outlander // Chaotic Good // She's always picking things up, absently fiddling with them, and sometimes accidentally breaking them. She is slow to trust members of other races, tribes, and societies. She believes the natural world is more important than all the constructs of civilization. She will bring terrible wrath down on the evildoers who destroyed her homeland. // 3 Proficient Traits: Wisdom, Dexterity, Intelligence. //3 Unproficient Traits: Charisma, Constitution, Strength // Winter has sleek looking light gray fur with darker gray spotted tabby markings. She has patches of white fur on her chest, paws, and underbelly. She's got a dark berry nose and bright green eyes that shine mysteriously in the dark. Both of her long, pointed ears have 3 piercings, the lowest piercing being a small hoop while the others are studs. Winter wears a long green cloak, with cuts in her hood for her ears, as well as a dark red bandeau shirt and a flowy gray maxi skirt with two thigh slits. //Winter's clan; The Velvet Lake clan was pillaged and destroyed when Winter was young. Managing to be the only one to escape and survive, Winter ran far and deep into the forest. Thinking she wouldn't survive much longer, she happened to find a nice old woman who ended taking care of her and teaching Winter the Druidic ways. She speaks Common, Druidic, and Elvish. Anytime she shifts into an animal, they tend to have cat-like qualities like keeping her cat ears and sometimes even her cat tail. // 𝑅𝒶𝒾𝓃𝓎🌧

Jag Vladykius // 59; though looks to be in his 20's // Male // Drow Elf // Ranger; Beast Master // Ulrich // Neutral // He bluntly says what other people are hinting at or hiding. He believes people who can't take care of themselves get what they deserve. He helps the people who help him - that's what keeps us alive. He owes his survival to another urchin who taught him to live on the streets. // 3 Proficient Traits: Strength, Dexterity, Wisdom //3 Unproficient Traits: Constitution, Charisma, Intelligence // Jag is an attractive elf man, despite being a drow. He has dark, midnight skin that almost has a purple hue in some lighting, and stands at over 6 feet tall. He's got long, elegant, silver hair that is tied out of his face with the use of a three neat braids. One that goes down the middle of his scalp, and one braid on either side of his head. He's got bright blue, almost white eyes. Jag wears a white button-up along with a leather vest and pants that tuck into his thin boots. He mainly uses a longbow that he wears across his back when he's not using it. Other than his longbow, Jag is also known to use a rapier in close combat. // Jag was abandoned as a child, not knowing who his family was he was forced to grow up and survive on the streets. Despite being of drow nature, the only reason Jag didn't turn out to be full blown evil was because in his younger years a kind man who went by the name of Reginald took him under his wing. Reginald was a strong influence in Jag's moral code. His ranger companion is a Wolf named Aurora  // 𝑅𝒶𝒾𝓃𝓎🌧

You can either play it off like they were the whole time and I'll say theres 4 shadows to even it out, or they can swoop in and be like Ta da here we are. Up to you))

As Elyel's shadow got closer, she slammed her staff on what should have been its head. Her staff passed through it, but the Shadow unleashed a groan almost like it felt some sort of pain.

Garren leapt to Luciels aid, bringing his sword through the Shadow. The two attacks produced nothing but an eerie, unsettling groan

Kira hopped back some out of reach of the wispy fingers and winced slightly when they touched her, She felt the coldness seep through her arm and hissed out. "Shitacki-mushrooms.." She narrowed her eyes and whispered a latin word under her breath and her Rapier popped into her hand out of nowhere and she swiped quickly with it while using her other hand to put the blade on fire.

((Seeing Luca, It is making me want to draw Kira. haha, May do that tomorrow... once i can find my sketch book and put my daughter down for her nap... or may do that at six in the morning after my bf leaves for work.... i got ideas for her flowing through my mind lol..)
