Sira chuckled softly and shook her head listening to Luca talk. "I am Sira." She rolled her eyes when he was talking about the group being exceptional. "I think the only thing exceptional about this group is that we all followed this letter here without really knowing what it is about." She said shaking her head and taking the letter out of her pocket and looking at it again. "Is either of your letters signed?" She asked the two male companions, she glanced around the room still not fully trusting the other three people. She has never liked working in a group so she is waiting for one of them to backstab her already. Getting tired of her blonde hair on her shoulder she decided to put it up in a bun tightly and left it alone.

It's all good Rose ^^ I pretty much passed out not soon after lol. I still have one more thing to do out of the house this morning, so I might be a bit poofy. But after that I should be more active.) Also, welcome Hime! :3 )
"They often say those willing to take a chance are those who get farthest in life." Luca insisted, though personally he had to agree that they were not being careful. When she asked if his letter had been signed he shook his head and flicked his wrist, letter appearing in hand. Luca opened it and flipped it for the rest of them to see "It appears they are all the same. At the very least we can assume they came from the same person." the writing looked similar enough. Luca also took time to nod appreciatively at the hair change. It was a good choice for her hair type.
He'd been so distracted by the three others in front of him and hadn't been paying attention to their surroundings. If someone wanted to jump them now, they'd certainly catch him by surprise "It also seems like there will be more of us. The letter was written in a way that makes me think they sent more than just four of them."

Elyel crossed her arms. "Perhaps. Our best course of action then is to probably stay here until we get more information or get more people who show up. A heavy, dark feeling lays on my heart. Something tells me this isn't going to be an ordinary quest." She said thoughtfully before clapping her hands together. "Oh yes well who doesn't love a bit of peril?"
Garren nodded in agreement with the others. "The letter called for heroes, I couldn't not show up." He said with much more vigor than what was probably necessary. He very much liked these people and hoped even if this quest turned out to be false, they could walk away as unlikely friends.

Ty for the welcome! ^^]]
Luciel took a deep breath as she approached her apparent destination. Holding the piece of paper in her hand she looked up at the sign just to double-check she was arriving at the correct place. "Nightstone Inn," she murmured with a nod. She tucked the letter away and pushed open the door, hoping she hadn't arrived too late - the written message didn't include any sort of time frame for departure. The cleric had taken a bit of time looking into the town, and the obsidian obelisk had taken up a few minutes as well. She stood in the entryway and searched the interior, tucking a few strands of hair behind one ear, before noticing a small group off to one side. The individuals did not appear to her as normal townspeople and so she decided to approach them. "Sorry to interrupt..." she started once closer. "Were you all summoned here by a letter as well?"

Elyel quickly glanced up with the arrival of this new person, slowly sizing her up and down. "So there is more of us. Most intriguing. I cannot help but wonder how on Earth someone managed to distribute these letters to all of us, and how we all somehow conveniently got here around the same time." She rubbed her chin in curious confusion, and was almost worried about what type of quest warranted so many people

Luciel took the comments from Elyel as an affirmative answer to her question and found herself relaxing ever so slightly. She offered a shrug in response to the other woman's pondering, the only answer coming to her mind being some sort of divine intervention. "Perhaps it only shows the importance of this quest, that things have been arranged as such," she said. "The tone of the writing did feel rather urgent."

"But I can't help but wonder how and why it was us picked." Elyel shrugged. "No matter, I supposed. The name is Elyel. It's a pleasure, miss. Hopefully we all don't die before we have the chance to become good friends." Her tone was warm and inviting, yet her eyes continued to twinkle with their usual mischief behind her red mask.
Garren formally bowed once more at the arrival of Luciel. "Garren Fletcher, my lady." His introductions were slowly losing gusto as he had to repeat them. The serious air that had also taken hold dulled his chipper temperament as well, and he almost admired Elyel for continuing to try to crack jokes, even if they were a little morbid.

Luca greeted Luciel with a bright smile and compliment as he had done to everyone so far. His grin wasn't dampened by the talk of urgency, and he wasn't about to let himself get dragged down when they didn't even know what was going on "Let's try not to worry about it. If it really was urgent they'd have put some money in the letter." that certainly would have gotten him to walk faster. Or perhaps even a drawing on the person sending it. If they had the looks to back it up.
"How about we get a drink and wait?" the person wasn't here yet, or they weren't making their presence known "If it does end up being a fake, we'll at least have gotten a drink and a good conversation out of it." he didn't wait for the others to agree as he sauntered over to the counter and ordered a drink for himself.

Garren began to nod vigorously. "Oh yes, Luca I do believe you are quite the genius." He drew his tongue over his lips in anticipation for a nice ale and an even nicer chat with people that he, thus far anyway, was beginning to care a great deal for. Quest or not quest, he rather enjoyed the prospect of some good food and drink and some good conversation. "Perhapd our summoner will make an appearance once they notice we are all bonding a little. After all, one does not simply quest without liking each other"

"Oh ho, flattery will get you everywhere Garren. Especially if you completely right with your compliments." Luca grinned over at the other man. He was in no means a genius, but that didn't mean he couldn't believe he was one. Once both of them had a drink in hand he looked over to the ladies and gestured for them to hurry up and order something for themselves. He took a long swig and hummed appreciatively. It wasn't the best drink he'd ever had, but after that long walk to get here he'd take anything.

Elyel rolled her eyes. All men are exactly the same. She mused silently to herself, her lips pressed together in a thin, yet genuine smile. She ordered something mild, not being a very avid drinker and as such not wanting to have something too strong that would put her out. She slowly placed a straw in the mug as to avoid removing her mask--she only did that whenever it was time to fight serious--and began happily drinking.
Garren held his drink up towards the other two who also had drinks. "To us, the potential new heroes of this land!" He roared a passionate laugh, the kind of laugh that almost made other people want to start laughing with him, even if they did not know the context of the cause for humor. He clinked the cups together before gulping down the amber liquid.

After offering a smile and a nod to each in return for their introductions, Luciel watched quietly as they went to procure some drinks. As for herself, she quietly went to get a drink... of water. She returned in time to hear Garren's cheer and could not help but smile along with his laughter. She raised her glass before taking a sip and then setting it in the palm of her other hand. "Forgive me for not mentioning it sooner, but I am Luciel," she piped up. "I look forward to venturing on this quest with you all."

Luca raised his glass in kind and knocked back the rest of his drink. It was hard to out drink him, so he wasn't worried about having too much. As they drank he took a moment to look around for anyone else that may be a part of their group, or someone who had called them. It wouldn't surprise him if there was another member sitting around until they were sure it was safe to make their presence known. But he was quickly distracted by the thought of chatting with the other members and drinking more.
"What does everyone here specialize in? I assume we have must have some sort of skill our unknown sender thinks is valuable." unless of course this was a fake, which was still a possibility. Since Luca had asked the question he went first, saying "I'm quite a talented dancer, and I know some kick based martial arts." his battle style was simple but effective.

"I would like to think my loyalty to honor and courage is my biggest strength." Garren beamed like an excited child just given a new toy. "And I also know my way around a blade." He swung an imaginary sword in the air, a thrilled gleam in his eyes.
Elyel stroked her chin thoughtfully, wondering what she brought to the table that would be useful. "Well, I am a warlock. Eldritch blasting my enemies is a hobby of mine. I also know my way around a staff and dagger." She nodded slowly, not willing to admit that despite her warlock background she wasn't too proficient in anything other than a couple of cantrips and first level spells because warlocks don't have enough spell slots for a magic user but I love them anyway. She gave Garren an odd glance.
Time to progress the plot a little lol))
As the party enjoyed in their merriment, the barkeep saw a suspicious shadow in the corner of his eye. Turning his head towards it, he followed until he was led out of site of everyone. That was when a note seemed to materialize, being formed from the shadow. A dark voice whispered in his ear The otherssssss. A little shaken, he shrugged and headed back out to where the party was. He slowly placed the letter down. The words, bold, and clear as day, formed from more shadow: One has been stolen away by then age old evil who seeks to breath havoc and destruction on to these lands.
One hides deep within the chasm guarded by the fallen, winged beast.
One has found its way to a small town, where its evil plagues whoever dares look inside.
Seek those which have yet to been hidden away. Time is short, the need is great. Bring them forth, or accept dark fate.

I feel the same way about warlocks my friend, my first character was a warlock and I love her with all my heart ;u;]] Gotta poof for a bit, see y'all in few hours!]]
"I am a cleric," Luciel answered simply. "Protecting life and ensuring we all keep it is my specialty." She paused, giving the mace secured at her hip a bit of a pat. "I am also trained in melee combat and have many spells as well." She raised an eyebrow as the barkeep made his way over to them. She watched closely as he put the note down and leaned in to read it. "What is this?" she murmured.

Talk to you later Hime ^^ I'm gonna be a bit poofy as well. I have a few things to do today.)
Having someone capable of healing wounds would be very useful, especially if they were going to be in danger doing this mission. Which honestly, was a given when doing a weird missions such as this. Before he could reply to his companions the barkeep walked over and placed the letter. He quickly read over it and grabbed at the man before he could walk back to his bar "Where did you get this?" he asked, sounding suspicious. The other looked just as confused as Luca felt, so there was a part of him that guessed he wasn't the one who had written it "Did someone drop it off? What did they look like?"

when am I not poofy))
The barkeep shrugged nonchalantly, wiping down a glass. "Couldn't tell yea, sir. The shadows dropped it off. I can't such much more than that, and that's the honest truth." everyone roll insight
Elyel was also pleased to have a healer on board, and for the most part she found clerics rather fun to poke fun at. She decided things couldn't get much better than this. Elyel stared at the note as the words formed on it. "Oh lord it rhymes. I hate when they rhyme. But what on earth does seek those which have yet to be hidden and bring them forth? Forth where? What ancient relics could it possibly mean? Also, what old evil is there? It seems everything has been relatively peaceful for the most part, as of late, with the exception of random squabbles and occasional goblin raid. And what fallen winged beast, could it possibly mean a dragon?"
That was when Garren decided to pipe up. "I heard rumor of a dragon's lair that was recently abandoned due to...the occupant moving out." He said slowly. "But what relic thing would a dragon have anything to due with?"

Sira stayed in the background, Not getting anything to drink. She thouht a second. "The onlly thing dragons would take are gold and little shiny items. So it could be anything." she thought aloud. She leaned against the table/counter where they others sat and shrugged. "The one about the town could mean a house or a building with something evil hidden away inside? but im not sure about the first part. it could mean anything..." She tilted her head and crossed her arms while she reread the note again from over their shoulders.

Elyel frowned, her carefree manner gone for a moment. "So we clearly need to decide to head for a dragon or find some...something at some village that we know nothing about. Guys, the ambiguity bothers me more and more. How are we supposed to know where to start? Do we have to just ask people until we get some sort of clue?"
Garren beamed at the prospect. "I can go ask around! In fact, we can start with the other residents of this fine establishment!" His voice bellowed, drawing awkward glances from some of the other patrons that had heard his statement.

Sira looked at Garren with a raised brow. "If you would like, go on ahead. I wonder what sort of town this is on the outskirts. I was here yesterday and it seemed pretty nasty out there..." She said aloud. "I thought i saw someone hanging on a post SO i want to go check that out." She told the group. She looked around at a couple of the other patrons and decided to glance at each of them and do a once over to see if she could find anyone that looked suspicous or was glancing at the group for to long or to many times.

"Okay, so how about to split off in the town, and come back here in one hour. Talk to people, get some inside, maybe get some supplies." Elyel suggested. Although, she wasn't entirely sure if she could trust them to return, but she figured all of them travelling as group might be off putting to other people that may have information.

A dragon! How good of a story would that be? He'd certainly catch attention with that. He was a bit distracted by that thought and only tore himself away when they suggested to search the town for information. Getting people to talk was something he was good at so he nodded "That sounds like a wise course. If nothing can be found here, we can head to Bellmyre. Many people gather there, and I know some who may know about a dragon." the place was known for being a hub for trading and a rest place for those who traveled.

Luciel listened to each party member give their opinions in turn, giving the occasional nod here and there. The first two statements indeed sounded like dragons to her, with the whole wings and breathing destruction being mentioned. "I can only hope that we are not ambushed while split up, though I do not doubt our individual abilities," she murmured. She looked up at the group. "I could try asking my fellow acolytes and priests if they have heard anything as well" she proposed.
