This can be anything from abnormal eye colors to different color patches of fur to patterns on their claws. These strange markings are the markings of the Underworld and the Clan views marked cats are abominations. If a cat is marked, they are "cursed" by the Underworld with powers that are beyond this world. These powers are come with an alignment to certain gemstones. Each marked cat aligns with three to five of the gemstones listed above. Typically, they do not find out this until around the age they would begin training to hone in their powers, which is around 6 moons old. With each gemstone comes a deity, either angel or god, that the gemstone is symbolic of. Denarius is the Angel of Greed, represented by the Prase Quartz. Fortuna is the Goddess of Prosperity, represented by the Diamond. Amare is the God of Love, represented by the Roseite. Tristus is the Angel of War, represented by the Ruby. Sapientus is the God of Wisdom, represented by the Veritium. Arbiters is the God of Time, represented by the Kunzite. Pulchritas is the Angel of Beauty, represented by the Aquamarine. Compasia is the Angel of Empathy, represented by the Opal. Laetes is the Angel of Joy, represented by the Sapphire. Moritas is the Goddess of Death, represented by the Moonstone. Formidite and Caldora are the twin Angels of Fear and Fury, represented respectively by the Nightstone and Amber. P O W E R S F R O M T H E U N D E R W O R L D There are many different powers a marked cat can hold. A marked cat can only, however, hold at most two powers, but this is rare. They are generally powers that go together, such as bilocation and invisibility or cryokinesis and hydrokinesis.

This power allows him to create realistic illusions of anything from animals to stone to plants. His marking is a swirl of red in his amber eyes. Nightpaw has alignment with three stones - roseite for passion, prase quartz for greed, and opal for empathy. He has a connection with Denarius, Amare, and Compasia.

As the highest ranking nobility, a cat with either title rules over the kingdom. If there are two tomcat leaders, they are both Kings and their surrogate mother will be a Queen. In the same sense, if there are two she-cat leaders, their surrogate father will be a King. There is a chance of two or three rulers and it is law that they must bare offspring

so i have a few fun ideas to bring to the table. i know we discussed a different style of ranks, for royals, the guard, and commoners in the clan. i found a few sources to help out on the royal side and the guard side of things!
the royal hierarchy i found regarding the medieval royal family goes as follows:
king/queen are the parents of the prince/princess. prince/princess plus s/o are the parents of the duke/duchess (prince/princess are the direct inheritors of the kingdom: first born first.) -> duke/duchess are the parents of the earl/countess -> i'm not 100% sure how far the legacy or the kinship will go with the clan while the king and queen are on the throne. titles will change when cats move up.
king and queen - these are the leaders of the clan, they have their specific set of rules other than the warrior code. what they say, goes, and anyone who goes against them can be considered treasonous. this, of course, could have its upsides and downsides and lead into plots along the lines of a corrupted king or queen! really anything with them, they seem p cool.
prince/princess (s) - these are the direct children of the king and queen. they are the inheritors to the throne of the kingdom, and are trained to follow in their parents footsteps. the first born of the set of children will be the first choice for the throne, unless the king/queen decide to go with another one of their children.
duke/duchess (s) - these are the children of the princes/princesses. if their parent takes reign, they will move up to the prince/princess ranks. while they're treated like the royal family, and shall be addressed as such, they do not have much power other than title.
earl/countess (s) - these are the children of the dukes/duchesses. the information regarding this rank is in line with the duke/duchess rank.
second, the guard has ranks as well.
starting from highest to lowest!
field marshal - highest rank in the guard. this member is chosen directly by the king and queen, from the ranks of generals. this officer ranks over everyone in the guard, taking orders from only the royal family (precisely the king(s) and queen(s).

lieutenant general -
major general -
brigadier -
colonel -
lieutenant colonel -
major -
captain -
lieutenant -
second lieutenant -
officer cadet - these are those starting out in the ranks. they are the common soldiers. there is no limit to how many cats can have this rank. |

holy heckin moly, it's dampreed! i thought you left the forums for good a while ago ;w; it's cool to see you!!
i dont have a whole lot to offer that hasn't already been said, i'm afraid, but i would love to help.
overall i think this is a very very cool idea and i love it!! i do have a small suggestion that could be considered, it would make sense (depending on how advanced/complex the clan is) that the working classes are separated into soldiers/guards, artisans, and something like scouts/hunter/foragers?
