Owl - near Tumbling Rocks - Mentions: Nettlefang (@nettles), Foxtongue (WyrmTime) and siblings (highprince)"Yeah!" Owl responded to his brother's words like it was an obvious fact. And it was, technically. This cat was clearly not their Mama, but he was interesting and the only other cat they've really seen, so it seemed fine. "Righ' back!" He chirped, mimicking what their mother normally said those few times she left. The appearance of a new cat had startled Owl greatly and her... anger?... didn't help either. He squeaked and stumbled back, bumping into Hail and quickly slipping behind him, back into the safety of the bush and with Rush.

Beepaw with Brokentalon (𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢)
Beepaw went hot with shame for a moment - she should have known that Brokentalon was only joking with her. The elder's question about her training, however, made her forget about that embarrassment. "It's going great!" She answered, nearly puffing up with enthusiasm. "Amberwing's been teaching me so much. She might not be the best hunting teacher, but that's okay, because I've been learning so many battle moves!" Beepaw reared up on her back legs for a moment, swiping at the air with her paws. I'm going to be a great warrior some day, just like Lionfang, she thought, feeliing awfully pleased with herself.
Hail with Nettlefang, Foxtongue, and siblings (@nettles , underthesilverpelt , WyrmTime )
Hail squeaked as this new cat's arrival, following in his brother's footsteps and retreating into the bush. This cat, too, was big and scary and smelled funny. At least the cat with the pointy mouth was a nice one, kind of like Mama. This one was loud and did not seem very friendly. "Bad," Hail told his siblings, with the most conviction a kit could have, "bad stranger."

Owl - near Tumbling Rocks - Mentions: Nettlefang (@nettles), Foxtongue (WyrmTime) and siblings (highprince)Owl whimpered, looking from Hail to the little gap that had acted as their makeshift entrance. "Fangs..." he whined softly, having really liked the pointy toothed calico. He smelled strange and looked slightly creepy, but he'd been nice. This random other cat didn't look nice at all and Owl was slightly afraid that his new friend would get hurt.

Nettlefang and Rush - w/ Owl+Hail, Foxtongue - underthesilverpelt , WyrmTime
"Foxtongue!" Nettlefang was surprised to see the she-cat, but that was instantly smothered by a rush of relief. As adorable as the kits were, he had no idea what to do with them. Rush, who had been nosily poking her way out of the shrub, immediately drew back, moving in front of her siblings at the arrival of the new stranger. She may have been young, but she could tell how tough the she-cat must've been just by looking at her large form. "I came out hunting," Nettlefang continued, flicking his ear towards the robin he had caught, "and followed a weird sound to this bush. There are kits here, and while there's a faint milk scent, I couldn't see their mother nearby. I had no clue what to do." He admitted. His poor tolerance for young cats was well-known, and hadn't left him much experience with kits. Amberwing - w/ Willowshine - 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢"Well... Beepaw certainly is attentive. She really wants to do her best." Amberwing purred, thinking of the how closely the she-cat seemed to listen to everything she said. "She's picking up what I teach her fairly quickly, as well. I'm worried I might not be covering hunting as well as I should, though... Nettlefang isn't always going to be there to pick up the slack." She shook her head to clear the doubt as she followed Willowshine to the camp entrance. She'd feel better after hunting. The weather was fairly warm today, after all. The prey would be running well enough that she could manage.

Nightblaze // heading for Tumbling Rocks // with Tallbird & Stonepaw [𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢 ] The tom softened a bit when he heard the truth in Tallbird's words, the hurt in her eyes not going unnoticed. His gaze shifted to Foxtongue who looked distinctly uncomfortable. Nightblaze wanted to heave a sigh, wanting nothing more than to turn around and run towards the creek. Before he could speak, the scarred molly took off, claiming to want to check out something. Baffled, the tom blinked his amber eyes as he watched Foxtongue disappear. "Well that was... odd. Must have been important," he mumbled, shrugging at Tallbird to show he was clueless. Turning back around, he padded back towards Tumbling Rocks. "Let's keep going, yeah?" NIghtblaze called to his two remaining companions, his tail swaying behind him.
Sunmask // in camp // with Lionfang [highprince ] Lionfang's words echoed her own thoughts but hearing it spoken aloud was somehow more soothing to her. Sunmask nodded her head, determination hardening her icy gaze. "Very true. I suppose we should head out there then," she got to her paws, arching her back in a lengthy stretch before padding towards Daycreek and his mate. Not even half way there and she scented the blood. Her gaze locked on the wound he was showing his mate and she instantly turned back towards her den. "Alright, first cobwebs," she sighed, rolling her eyes to Lionfang before rushing off, mumbling about bad luck under her breath.
Dappleface // in camp // with Lightdrop The older she-cat resisted the urge to huff with annoyance when her daughter pulled away, imagining a much younger Lightdrop squirming away from her as she tried to give her a bath after a long day of play. Some deeper part of her regretted never having more kits but after her first mate... Dappleface forced the thoughts away, not wanting them to linger. "Imagining things," she did huff now, indignantly, giving the young warrior that look that all mothers worth their salt had perfected. The tortoiseshell softened at the mention of sharing a meal, nodding her head in approval. "Of course, Lightdrop. Let me just place this moss inside the nursery and I'll join you!" Dappleface purred, leaning down to tuck said moss back beneath her chin.
Briarleap // in camp // with Daycreek [WyrmTime ] The scent of blood hit her nose before he even motioned with his muzzle and instant worry sent her gut churning harder. Her tail lashed as she scolded herself for not realizing sooner and slid around the tom to inspect the wound carefully. Briarleap winced, placing a gentle lick next to the wound, unwilling to cause him more pain on purpose. "I'm sorry, should I go get Sunmask?" her voice may be quiet but her tone was full of concern.

Tallbird felt dizzy from the exchange she had just had, one minute Foxtongue was snapping at her then the next she trotted away even though the calico had invited herself into their patrol. Her tail lashes from side-to-side, absolutely shocked at the older she-cats attitude. Letting out a sigh, Tallbird frowns and looks to Nightblaze feeling equally as clueless. "I would like nothing more." She commented, following after him, taking up the rear this time. The ginger and white molly allows herself to stew on her thoughts and emotions about what had just happened, trying to sort through herself before communicating anything else.
Stonepaw, the poor tom, had just watched this interaction between Foxtongue and Tallbird with Nightblaze trying to mediate only to see the older she-cat trot off without telling the others where she was going. He blinks slowly and turns with Nightblaze as they continue on their way to Tumbling Rocks. There's a moment of silence before Stonepaw moves a little closer to his mentor in order to whisper to him. "I'm confused about what just happened." He told Nightblaze in a hushed tone. "Why are she-cats so weird?" He asks, stealing a look to Tallbird who was behind them now, looking like she was deep in thought.
Rainstar let out a pleasing purr, noticing the way she watched her apprentice twitch about until he allowed himself to calm. "Good, very good, Riverpaw." She praised the young tom. "You may open your eyes now." The blue molly instructed, getting up once more. "So much is going on in battle it's hard to stay focused not only on what's in front of you, but also what is going on around you. You can never afford to let your guard down for even a second. If you leave yourself open for any kind of blow, trust that any creature will notice and take the opportunity against you." Rainstar starts to back up now. "I'm going to charge at you now but I'll stop where you should initiate your kick. I want you to notice the sounds, how heavy my paws hit the ground, what they sound like as I'm charging."
Brokentalon was surprised with the quick change in attitude that Beepaw showed when he brought up her training. It took him back to a time where he was equally excited about his own training, and he missed that excited feeling. The feeling of being ready to serve his clan and clanmates, he wished he could experience it all over again instead of feeling sorry for himself. However, a cat as young as Beepaw didn't need to know about his inner turmoil. "Is that so? Why don't you show me a move right now?" Brokentalon suggested. He remembered back when he had just been appointed Mudrush as his apprentice before his accident, how excited the young tom was for training and exploring the territory. Talking to Beepaw reminded him of those moments.
Willowshine nodded as she listened to Amberwing. "Well, just because you're not a great huntress yourself doesn't mean that you can't teach Beepaw how to hunt. You know what proper hunting technique is, correct?" She questioned the younger she-cat, but didn't wait for her to answer as she continued on. "So you can watch her and critique her form still, tell her what she's doing wrong and what she's doing right. If you need help you could also always ask another warrior to come along and demonstrate correct technique if you're not confident enough in yourself." Her bright green eyes flicker to glance at Amberwing as they tread down the path towards the Great Pines.

Owl - near Tumbling Rocks - Mentions: Nettlefang (@nettles), Foxtongue (WyrmTime) and siblings (highprince)Owl heard the voice of the new she-cat, hesitating before creeping back towards the small hole in the bush again. Once he could see her clearly enough without leaving the safety of the shrub, he took a sniff and reared back again. Fang's scent had been strong, but this she-cat had such a similar one that it only enhanced the strength and made it almost overwhelming. Tears pricked in his eyes, immediately missing the softness of his mother's scent, and ducked back into the bush to press against Hail. "Mama..." the kit cried softly, burying his face in his brother's fur, wishing these strange cats would go away already. This wasn't fun anymore. ••• Frost - Tumbling Rocks, slightly upstream - Mentions: Hopefully upcoming patrolHunting was... a tad difficult. She didn't know anything about fishing and all small prey seemed to scatter by the time she was close. Slight desperation struck and she nearly ran up a tree after a squirrel, but sadly was left in its dust. She did catch a small mouse, which she immediately ate, but it barely made a dent in her hunger. She really hoped that wouldn't be all she was left to work with. Hissing out some curses after missing another bird, she continued to stalk.

Lionfang with Sunmask, Briarleap, and Daycreek (little blu ♥ & WyrmTime)
Lionfang was surprised to see Sunmask hurrying back to her den. Figuring it was some medicine cat business he'd be no use muddling in, he continued on his way to Daycreek and Briarleap - then he smelled the blood. That must be what she was fussing over, the deputy thought. He nodded a greeting back to Daycreek. "Yes, Sunmask's herb stores need restocking, and we thought it would be good for you two to come along with us."
Lightdrop with Dappleface
Seeing her mother bringing the moss to the nursery sharply reminded Lightdrop that she hadn't been putting her all into her warrior duties - though she'd always been like that. Maybe she would head out after eating, actually help out the clan a bit. Now, however, her stomach was in control. Lightdrop grabbed that squirrel she'd been eyeing and brought it to a place in the sun, waiting for Dappleface to return.
Beepaw with Brokentalon (𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢)
Beepaw purred at being given the opportunity to show off her new skills. If she did something wrong, she was sure Brokentalon wouldn't be too kind to call her out, either. "Since I'm so small, Amberwing taught me about a move that would be helpful with bigger opponents. I'm not very good at it yet, though, so it would be good to practice," Beepaw admitted. Even for a young apprentice, she was little, and she knew she would need to know how to do this well. She dropped into a pounce, facing an empty nest. "If this moss was a big cat, I'd get behind it like this," Beepaw's tail waved in the air from excitement, "-and then I'd jump on his back!" Beepaw leaped for the moss, taking a moment to knead at it as if it was an enemy. She looked towards Brokentalon, awfully proud of herself despite the moss stuck in her fur.
Hail with Nettlefang, Foxtongue, and siblings (@nettles & underthesilverpelt)
Hail didn't like these strange cats one bit. He wanted Mama to come back and protect them like she always did. Then they would all play together and there would be no big, smelly strangers. He leaned into Owl, hoping there was some protection in being with his brother. "Not Mama," Hail repeated sharply, looking with wide eyes to see if the strangers would try to grab them.

((phew, completed everyone's forms!
Mudrush -- //Tom// -- //68 Moons// -- //Warrior// Mudrush is a very large, bulky tom cat with dark grey-blue fur, a thick, warm pelt and a round face. His eyes are a deep amber, soft and sloped in a way that gives him a perpetually solemn look. His paws are noticeably large. | Mudrush had always been a quiet, introspective cat, often lost in his own wandering thoughts and easily distracted by the curiosities of the world around him. He enjoys peaceful walks and can sit in silence for a long time simply watching the trees sway. However, sometimes he can withdraw into his own world too far, finding difficulty in connecting with other cats and losing touch with the situation at hand. | He is the father of Willowshine and Rainstar. Mudrush was deeply in love with their mother, Birdsong, for her bright and down-to-heart personality helped draw him out of his shell and keep him grounded. However, after her death due to a rogue encounter gone awry, he struggled greatly in coping with his grief. Mudrush genuinely loves his daughters and thinks the world of them, but struggles to express this, and often feels like he’s failed in his efforts to connect with them. Because of this, he’s grown distant, not just from them, but from most of his clanmates. | None. {willowflower}
Tornheart -- //Tom// -- //36 Moons// -- //Warrior// Tornheart is a short-furred, golden-brown tabby tom, the hue of his pelt leaning towards a deeper orange, his tabby markings of a burnished copper color, with a few white patches along his chest and muzzle. His golden pelt is also marked with long, jagged scars along his left side. He walks with a slight limp and one of his ears is completely torn off. His eyes are of a pale gold, one of which is sealed shut and scarred with three claw marks. | What marks this tom’s attitude is his sheer determination in positivity, juxtaposing his frightening appearance. Left in the wake of his trauma was the need to be okay for those who grieved around him, especially his sister Briarleap. He is genuinely bright and cheerful with a big heart, tending to try and find the silver lining, and is endlessly adventurous and curious. He can be, however, extremely emotional and anxious, and can come off as petty as he gets upset over a seemingly small thing out of place. | Tornheart was once Goldenpaw, brother to Briarleap and son of Viperstream and Fernburst. Unfortunately, at a very young age, Tornheart watched three cats die at a cougar’s claws, two of which were his own parents, before falling to the cougar himself. He was rescued, but not before suffering horrible injuries. His response to his grief and trauma was to suppress and deny it - tired of the pity and worry other cats showed him, he became determined to be a cat they didn’t have to worry about anymore. He carries a lot of guilt over the death of his parents that he refuses to process, instead carrying it over to fuss over Briarleap, of whom he’s fiercely protective. | He also has a crush on Willowshine, and has already subjected himself to a state of perpetual pining. {willowflower}
Skypaw -- //Non-binary (she/they)// -- //6 Moons// -- //Apprentice// Skypaw is a fluffy, light gray tabby with bright yellow eyes. They are on the small side, with a triangle of a face and a long, dark grey fluff of a tail. They have a light step, their small frame agile and quick. | Skypaw is ambitious and driven, determined to become leader one day. Quiet and calculating, they are a problem-solver and gets frustrated if an obvious solution is passed by. She is sharply intelligent and introverted, oft preferring to work alone; however, her aloof nature and uncertainty in social situations leaves her feeling lonely in the middle of a crowd. | She’s the sibling of Beepaw, kit of Brighteyes and Lionfang. After her mother died from green cough, she threw herself into work and training, focusing on improving her skills to distract herself from the inevitability of death. This has caused her to grow distant from her family emotionally, as the only way she really knows how to show her love is through work, ie spending time together on patrols and training. | None {willowflower}
Mistydew -- //She-cat// -- //42 Moons// -- //Queen// Mistydew is a silver tabby with icy blue eyes. She has a thick, fluffy pelt and a thick, fluffy tail, giving her large frame an even larger presence. Her coloring grows darker the further down her body, ending in a black tail. | In a couple words, Mistydew is power-hungry, manipulative, and tough. She can be persuasive and passive-aggressive in an attempt to further her own goals or to defend herself. Mistydew is fiercely loyal to her clan and constantly feels the need to show it, sticking steadfast to rules and sticking by her clanmates, distrusting all outsiders. | Mistydew never knew her father. Her mother died in childbirth, taking the secret with her. There were rumors that Mistydew was the spawn of a kittypet, which deeply affected her in her drive to work even harder at her warrior duties. She was bitter that she never even made it to deputy status, and now dreams of her kits taking on positions of power in the clan. Mistydew is even more driven to make this dream happen after her mate drowned in the Crashing River. | She is heavily pregnant. {willowflower}
let me know if anything's out of place!))
