“I remember that,” Emma said as she laughed. “I’m so glad we were able to remain friends for all these years. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” Emma was very thankful for Leon. He had stayed by her side through a lot of stuff, good and bad.

“That doesn’t sound like a bad idea,” Emma said. Once again, she linked arms with Leon as they began to wander around the city. “Do you have to work tomorrow?”

"I'd be down. Did you have anything in mind or shall we wing it?" Leon asked getting a little excited now. It had been a while since they properly hung out together. He hoped they could do something fun together.

“Let’s just wing it. Ya know, like we used to,” Emma said with a smile. With both of them working it sometimes seemed like their youth was slipping right out from under them. But tomorrow was a chance for them to get out of their boring routine and finally have some fun.
