Original thread can be found here. Here are the results from the Google Form that I created: Question 1 - Are you interested in owning your own board for a roleplay?
51.9% answered yes, 25.9% said maybe, 22.2% said no. Question 2 - Are you interested in participating in a roleplay board? 88.9% said yes and 11.1% said no. Majority rules, creation of the board is pretty clear. Question 3 - Warriors Fan Clans Participants: What idea do you prefer for a possible roleplay board?
It's a close call here; 30.4% chose A unique set of clans, ones that are not linked with the Warriors book world. 34.8% chose the Original 5 Clans at the Forest. Fan Clans, I'm going to need some help here. The majority ruled for the Original 5 at the Forest, which means that would be the main roleplay board that Roswell would have to create. Obviously Roswell would set up the board, but the clans would need to be created. I will most likely be the head of it, setting up the planning and such-- but I'm going to need more than just me. We can't do it with just one or two people. Question 4 - OTRP Participants: What would you like to see?OTRP-- though you only had 9 written responses; there seems to be a few common themes. One being lore, the second being the bigger RPs should have their own boards (such as Paradox House). It seems that giving you a subboard for subpages like joining pages is a good idea too. It could be merged with planning pages, seeing that it has few topics and it could be re-labeled to Subpages.   By looking at the data, it seems that Fan Clans would be best to use for a beta test of a Roleplay Board. In doing so, I need to make sure we have a good number of people willing to test and help out with the project. Roswell will handle the PB side of it, but forming the roleplay itself (+ the information) is something I'll take on. I need assurance that there will be more than three helpers.
If you are interested, let me know! You can post here because I'd like to discuss this further, with both Fan Clans and OTRP. Once we have some sort of plan figured out, I'll work on a planning page for it. I also thought about using the Discord server, but it's whatever is more convenient for everyone here. |

I'm worried about turning "Planning" into a generalized "subpages", tbh? Like OTRP is already disorganized enough as it is, muddling it further by sharing a sub page with planning AND joining pages, plus lore pages if people do that, seems like a recipe for disaster.
I know OTRP isn't as popular as fanclans, but this would just make things worse, imo.

Like OTRP is already disorganized enough as it is, muddling it further by sharing a sub page with planning AND joining pages, plus lore pages if people do that, seems like a recipe for disaster. I know OTRP isn't as popular as fanclans, but this would just make things worse, imo. ^^^^ I agree with this Otrp is pretty cluttered as it is, is there a way to give it some a couple sub boards without it being too cluttered? Maybe a separate sub board for joining pages/character pages/lore pages etc, separate from planning pages? Though tbh, planning pages are kinda dead 90% of the time, I think most people just use discord or public drafts |

Yeah, tbh, being able to supply the basic information needed on the front page, then guiding them elsewhere for the actual in depth lore once they’re interested, would probably really boost activity and get more joiners for those lore heavy worlds, which otrp has a lot of, since most rp creators in otrp like to get really into world building for their roleplays, and I feel like even more would if they had a specific place they could put it without cluttering up the front page of their roleplay, especially since no one really likes a cluttered front page (I know I don’t) |

I literally don't make lore pages, or joining pages because of how messy it makes OTRP, so having subpage where I could shove them would be great. Then I end up screaming when someone joins a roleplay after everyone's already been replying because now the thread is a mess of replies and joining claims and I hate it.

Okay, so from what I understand on the OTRP side; you’d like a subpage subboard for your board. I do agree that it’s cluttered, so I’ve asked Roswell if there’s anything they can do for that.
