Hi! I'm Flying Magpie, or Magpie for short.
I started reading the books in 2007. The first series was being translated into French (my native language) at the time and I was finally getting into reading. It was my first time reading something so long so at first, I was overwhelmed but eventually, was hooked. I loved the general concept of "sentient cats living in a forest together", but the characters are really what sold it out to me. They were all so interesting and I never had enough of them. I became an active roleplayer on various French forums and it stayed that way until about 2013 when I stopped reading the books.
Then, I can't explain it myself, but 3 years ago, I felt the need to read the books again. I got myself the books in English this time and started some reading. I haven't managed to drop the series since then, although I have been more of a quiet fan.
It's my first time on an international forum, and I'm really excited to meet new people. I'd kinda like to go back to roleplaying I think, it's been a while and it might be fun!
My favorite character is River Ripple, from Dawn of the Clans. I think he's cute and I like his laid back attitude. Dawn of the Clans is my favorite series so far, though the Broken Code looks promising! Gray Wing and Shadowsight are my favorite protagonists. I like Jayfeather too! My favorite superedition is Crookedstar's Promise, my favorite novella is Ravenpaw's Farewell, and my favorite background characters are Runningwind and Sun Shadow. I'm not sure what my favorite clan is. I'd say it depends on the series!
