Wrapping his arms around her lower back, Blaze pulled her closer in the water to keep her warm while the water wasn't the best temperature this time of year. His laughter resorted more to air blowing out of his nose as they floated about the water's edge. "As much as a leader you are, I fully expected you to try your aerokinesis. Think outside the box and maybe you won't be end up in the deep end with me next time," Blaze murmured with a loving smile. He leaned in, giving her a quick kiss on her lips before moving closer to shore once more. "And yet I know you won't, but that doesn't mean you won't forget this. Let's go get some food before the both of us are in serious trouble with exhaustion."

"Hey now, I'm not claiming to be some strategist. I'm a kid of Zeus, not Athena." Josie pinches his back as a sort of payback. The peck to her lips was enough of a make up for her and gets her to grin, running her fingers through his wet hair to push it off of his forehead. "Maybe I like being in the deep end with you. Maybe that was the plan and you fell for it anyways, so who's a great leader now, huh?" Josie continues to hold on to Blaze as he carries them both back to shore, laying her head on his shoulder and grimacing as her stomach growls again. "I think I changed my mind, I want you to carry me." Her blue eyes flicker up to him, looking at Blaze out of her peripheral. "At least until we get to my cabin. I still want to change, wearing wet clothes while eating doesn't exactly sound appealing." She felt a little silly holding on to him like a baby koala, but it was still comfortable nonetheless and Josie didn't quite feel like being put down yet.

Sweet! It’s super late here, but I hardly sleep at night anyways, so I’ll be on for a good while lol. Sorry if I am poofy tho, I tend to get distracted easily ^.^’)
Cat was wandering near the edge of the woods, humming to herself as she walked. Every now and then she would pause and kneel down, using her hands to feel around herself, gently touching some plants to feel them and smelling them before using a knife to get some cuttings and placing them in a bag slung over her shoulder. After cutting the plants, she would stand and continue on her way, repeating the same actions.
Nakita sat at a table in the Arts and Crafts area, stringing together some seashells and pearls she had collected. She gave a smile as she finished another necklace and set it aside before starting on a bracelet next.

As he stepped back onto shore once more, Blaze gave a playful roll of his eyes and made a "uh huh" noise. "Well kid of Zeus, you gonna smite me for talking back?" Blaze asked playfully. When she mentioned she wanted to be carried back to her cabin, he gave a nod of understanding. He reached down carefully and grabbed what was left of their stuff including Josie's book. Then he shifted his arms from around her lower back to the backside of her legs, an easier way of carrying her. His face blushed a little when he changed position, but he smiled the redness away as he started to walk up to the cabin ignoring any onlooking campers in their path. Blaze was perfectly okay with others knowledge of them seeing one another, his mind wasn't focused on the gossip of camp like the Aphrodite and Hermes cabin.

She snorts and places a hand on his cheek, tilting his head towards her so she can plant a kiss on his cheek. "Crispy boyfriend is my least favorite, so no." Josie quips back, then tightens her hold around him as Blaze moves to gather their things. Her own blush starts to blossom when he shifts his hold, but she doesn't say anything about it. Not particularly shy very often, Josie finds herself becoming a bit bashful the closer to camp they get and opts to bury her face in the crook where his shoulder meets his neck. She peeks out every so often, gaze drifting to others before nuzzling back into Blaze.

Frances was crouching right outside the Arts and Crafts area, focusing on growing little daisies in the ground in order to weave a little flower chain. She smiles as she easily grows a bundle of them, taking her time to pick the small white and yellow flowers when she suddenly looks up. Her eyes nearly bug out of her head as she catches sight of Blaze carrying Josie, and it looks like they were headed to Cabin One, Zeus' cabin. She blinks quickly, frozen for a moment before finishing with her flower picking. With enough daisies, the blonde stands and sits at Nakita's table across from her. "Well ain't that something." She says, mostly under her breath as she begins to weave, glancing to Nakita's craft. "A bracelet this time?"

Nakita looked up from the bracelet as Frances spoke, “Yeah, I’m tired of making necklaces, I have plenty.” She said, weaving the string in an intricate design of waves, using the pearls to outline the waves. “What’s something? Did you find something out there?” She asked, catching what she had said.

Nakita tilted her head as she thought about the two together before giving Frances a smile, oblivious to the fact that Blaze had once had a crush on her at one point. Honestly, the daughter of Poseidon was horrible at noticing when someone had feelings for her, the girl was always lost in her thoughts. “Oh, really? That’s nice!” She said, “They must be close friends. I never realized they were that close though, I don’t remember ever seeing them hang out actually.” She added thoughtfully.

“More than friendly? Oh. Oh!” Nakita said, her eyes widening as realization finally hit her. “No way! Really? That’s sweet.” Her hands continued weaving as she added in a starfish as the center piece of the bracelet, then she remembered Frances had cut off her earlier sentence. “Hey, wait a minute! You said he only talked about someone else and then cut off! That’s not fair, you can’t drop something like that and then not finish.”

Nakita sighed and sat back, “Aw, man, this is gonna kill me now. But I won’t push you to tell me.” She said, pouting slightly herself, “So you think Blaze and Josie are seeing each other or something?” She asked, changing the subject for the sake of her friend. She turned her attention back to the bracelet, giving a light frown as she looked over her progress so far. It was missing something, but she couldn’t quite decide what else to add to it.

Nakita looked up and smiled brightly at the sight of the water lily, “Oh, that’s perfect!” She said, picking the flower up gently, “Thanks, Fran. It’ll look good with the starfish.” She started working right away, being careful to not rip the flower, “I’m sure Blaze will talk to you about it. Like you said, you’re his best friend.”

“Mostly for fun.” Nakita said, putting the finishing touches to the center piece, “But I do make some for friends every now and then. I can make one for you if you would like.” She offered, glancing up at Frances, “I have plenty of supplies. Being able to breath underwater comes in handy when I need more.”

Her sudden shyness and hiding her face caused him to give a confident smile. If he couldn't be brave walking through camp for both of them, then who would be? "It's okay, there aren't as many as I thought. Besides, I'd rather some good talk go around camp instead of people worrying about the attacks," Blaze whispered. As they approached the cabins, he headed straight for Cabin One, opening the door up with one hand and sliding into the small structure before anyone else could gawk at them. "See not so bad?" Blaze said with a handsome smile. |

Frances grins again, nodding enthusiastically as she leans over a little more to also admire the latest of Nakita's creations. "I would love that, actually!" She says, now resting her chin in her hands with her elbows propped on the table. "That's so cool, Nakita. I wish I could breathe underwater." Fran huffs softly, chewing on her lower lip before speaking again. "What's the bottom of the lake look like?"

Blaze would feel her smile against his shoulder at his encouraging words, and she only gives a nod as a response. Gods, she felt a little silly for clinging on to him like a child, but at the same time it did feel really nice to be taken care of like this. Nice that Blaze was willing to put up with her antics. The moment they're finally inside of her cabin is when Josie finally lifts her head, her face as bright red as a strawberry from the fields. She can't help but reciprocate his smile with one of her own before glancing around, suddenly really embarrassed of the fact that a statue of Zeus was standing in the center of the room. Soft rumbles of thunder can be heard overhead, but not as loud as the ones Josie had created earlier. "I forget how flashy my cabin is until I have someone over." She says with a sigh before letting out a sheepish chuckle. "Oh! Not, um, not that I have a lot of people over often." She's really digging herself a hole for his teasing and she knows it.

One look around the wide space and he knew there was not much he could say compared to his cabin. The statue was a little weird, then again his cabin has piles of "junk" scattered around. A quick wonder as to how they passed inspections at all. Blaze turned to look back at Josie, sly smile creeping over his face. "Nope I'm not gonna say anything," he joked. His face twitched as he struggled not reply with any smart-alec comments. His chuckling started to appear and he couldn't hold it in anymore. "Do they run after they see your dad staring at them as you 'hang out'?" Blaze sputtered out, laughing a little too hard.

Leaning into each kiss she placed around his face, Blaze couldn't help the distraction settling into his mind. He wasn't prepared for her question. A startled blush appeared on his cheeks and his mouth opened to respond, but no words came out. "I.. uh..uh.." Blaze was shocked she would suggestion something like this, even playfully. "If you want me to end up before your father on a death trial to prolong my suffering, then yeah we can "hang out". You only live once" Blaze said, regaining his composure rather quickly. He was hoping to surprise her with his answer, a smirk widening on his face.

Despite Blaze's playful tone and smile, he quickly realized Josie didn't pick up on either. He shook his head with a newer, smart-alec grin. Calmly, he placed her feet on the floor, but didn't release her from his arms just yet. "And the apprentice still can't pass the master," Blaze whispered, his eyes locked into hers. He brushed his lips against the side of hers and turned to step out of the cabin. "You have a lot to learn young padawan," Blaze joked, turning his head back to wink at her. Slowly, he pulled the door to the cabin all the way shut and stood in front so no one could pass him.

Before he can step out, Josie lingers in his arms and presses a quick kiss to his lips just as he leaves. Now alone in her cabin, the brunette lets out a heavy exhale, pressing the back of her hands to her warm cheeks, trying to cool herself off. After a couple of deep breaths, she moves to hang her wet clothes up on the arms of the Zeus statue, then quickly gets dressed. Josie changes into another camp t-shirt, a sweatshirt, and then a different pair of shorts. After tying her hair up into a ponytail she slips out of her cabin, tapping on the back of Blaze’s shoulder. “I’m ready for food.”

Fran’s eyes go big at that. “Oooh, that’s a great question. Hmm.” She thinks for a second, tilting her cheek into one of her hands. “If I could pick? Probably Apollo. I love the sunshine and Id like to be really good at play any instruments.” Frances sits up a little more after that, starting to let some grass grow between the cracks in the table. “What about you?”

Once again, his stomach was not his friend as the growling for food was loud. Blaze groaned at himself, annoyed that he hadn't gotten food earlier, but then maybe Josie and him might not have had anything occur. An empty stomach was better as long as he spent time with her. Blaze rotated to Josie and smiled down at her. "Come on then," he said with a little excitement. Reaching down, Blaze laced his fingers with hers and headed toward the Mess Hall. "So what are you gonna get?" The very same question lingering in his mind for himself. Maybe some pasta or maybe a simple grilled cheese, that definitely sounded good to him.
