Mathias admittedly found her boldness to be far more preferable than anything else, easily taking her hand with his own, firm and steady. His uninjured arm moved as he shook her hand.
"I think you'll find that nobody, human or god or goddess, is quite like Ares. It's better that way, there are things that only he will ever truly understand that no normal being would. Not that it matters now. Artemis is missing out on some of the finer things, but I guess I can't blame her. Nasty world out here sometimes, isn't it?" He asked knowingly.

"I've heard plenty of stories about the world." Lunette nodded back to him, a smirk curling her lip. "Makes me just want to stick to hunting. But," she shrugged. "Artemis wants me taking a break. You know I've been one of the 20 hunters at her side since I became a hunter." She smiled. "There's nothing quite like it."

Yo. Sorry, I’m a little spacey today lol)
Echo sat outside the Aphrodite cabin, sharpening a dagger out of boredom. She had finished helping getting the cabin clean earlier, not wanting another bad score when cabin inspections happened again. Of course, they wouldn’t have a bad score if some of her siblings would actually help with the cleaning.
Connor was at the edge of the forest, sitting in a tree and reading a book about plants.

"I always forget, that you've lived lifetimes in comparison to most of us, huh?" Mathias mused with interest, looking at Lunette as he sucked air between his teeth as the arrowhead prodded his flesh.
"How about you tell me more while I got bother the medical cabin?" He offered.

Lunette blinked in surprise, realizing she was keeping him. "Oh, I apologize. I'll let you get healed, no point in me crowding the medics around you."

"Eh, it's no big deal. Come along or don't, I don't mind company. Blood doesn't bother me in the slightest anyway. I can only guess that it's the same for you, with all you've hunted?" Mathias moved to pick up his training weapons, tucking two of them on his belt, before slinging the sword over his good shoulder. A small part of him also, admittedly, hoped to catch sight of Echo around camp on his way to the healers. It was hard to ignore her presence, at least it always had been for him.

“Sounds like a plan then, Huntress.” Mathias did not press more, knowing that boundaries of such should be respected. Her skills in archery were worth respecting, that he was certain of. He waved his hand idly, slipping out of the training area with a grunt as he adjusted his arm.

Shard walked out Aphrodite’s cabin. He stretched lightly, grinning at the sky a moment before flopping down next to his twin sister, slinging an arm over her. “Whatcha doin sis?” He asked.

“Now, why would I want to do that?” Echo said teasingly, “You only annoy me every day.” She threw the dagger at one of the posts of the porch where it stuck into the wood. “Don’t suppose you got any ideas on what to do? I’m bored.”

Shard gasped dramatically. “Me? Annoy you? How could you say such a thing.” He laid back and put his arm over his head like a drama queen. “My own sister.” Shard could barely keep himself from laughing. “And why would I share my ideas with you?”

Mathias walked steadily from the training ground, feeling a trickle of blood escape from the arrowhead wound. His focus was not on that though, moreso on the glimpse of Echo and Shard across camp. He looked at them for a second, before he righted himself and continued towards the medical cabin. It was beginning to grate at him, how distracting it was, whenever she was around.
Kyo glanced back at Roxana and Jacob, his eyes curious.
“Do you suppose everyone has eaten already?” He couldn’t help the small smile that crossed his face. “I know you like to sleep in, Jacob.”
