Kylin was caught off guard. He turned around and saw a boy. His mouth was wide open when he did. He quickly closed and tried to regain himself. "Uh- Yes um, my name is Kylin, I just arrived here?" He said in a hushed tone. "I uh- growing plants is one of them I guess." Kylin said, searching for words, trying not to get flustered. He was already surprised when he had heard the footsteps of the boy. "Or do you uh- want a complete answer?" He asked.

Phi smirked as he said," Well I can relate to that, given that my father is here." He then groaned as he took a swig from his flask as he said," I am only here because of my old man."

Mathias' retort went through one ear and out the other with Josie's attention on Shadow. She steps closer to the taller boy, her arms crossing over her chest. "I'm not sure, I've never seen this happen before." Josie replied, fighting the urge to approach the Hades' boy, not sure if it would be safe for any of them to get closer. "Hey! Shadow, you okay?" She calls out to him instead, wondering if he could even hear any them. Her gaze raises to Echo, wondering if she was seeing the same thing they were.


Frances sniffs and wipes her eyes once more, quickly trying to ride of her tears. She looks up as Blaze leans over to now be eye level with her, she wondered if it was a strain for him since he was over a foot taller than her. Her big hazel eyes stare into his brown, her eyes glossed over with a watery sheen. "Y-Yeah, you're right. I just, I just can't help it sometimes. I thought I was getting better." The younger girl had seemed to calm down enough so she wasn't sobbing anymore. She thinks back to what she knows of Blaze, recalling that he'd lost his mother to a hell hound around the same time that she'd lost her father. Maybe that's when they started getting so close. 

Fran shuts her eyes and inhales slowly, leaning forward just enough so their foreheads are pressed together. A frown is still set on her face but she seems to have calmed down enough. "Thanks, Blaze." 

Voices of all kinds shouted throughout his head causing Shadow to put his hands to his ears, trying to block out the noise. He grimaced as so many shouted inside his head, but they were all shouting the same phrase, Child of Hades, a traitor pierces your camp!. Just barely a different voice made its way through the barrier. Shadow glanced up toward the girl speaking, which was his first time seeing the barrier. He could not identify who was in front of him as they just appear as dark figures. Yet, he was able to recognize the voice somehow. "Josie? Who else is there?" he uttered, breathing heavily. The dark barrier around Shadow began to wrap itself around the son of Hades. He grunted as he moved to a kneeled position and tried to fight against his uncontrolled powers.

(For now, that statement will stay in his head unless you guys are okay with these four confirming what pretty much is known. It's up to you guys though as I am not trying to mess up any plans you have!)

Blaze gave a small smile, but the pain inside was cutting deep for himself. If there was one subject he hated to speak about that was his mother and her death. He wanted to search for that exact hellhound and to send it to Tartarus, but in his heart he knew that wouldn't bring her back. He was a little surprised when her forehead moved against his, but his smile hadn't wavered. "You're welcome," he said. "Now let's find something fun to do."

Lol Sorry, probably should have led with that! So basically, I had Shadow coming out of this episode likely in the next post. If you guys didn't have any plans to announce or confirm that they had a traitor, I think this could be something between the four of them since they want to find whoever did this (Nathaniel) the most. I am trying to make this more of just a building block for Shadow developing more of the umbrakinesis since he has shadow travel down, but I thought this could be fun. Sorry I should have ran that by you guys first)

Emmie sighed heavily, looking out across the lake. "It's not so much that I don't want to be here," She said lightly, "It's more than I want to see my mother again." She hesitated for a second, before looking back at Phi. "Did your father ever care about your mother? At all?"

Right, yeah that's true. Idk it was just something I thought could be interesting, but I can have Shadow keep it to himself. I can understand that, trying to one thing after another can get tiring)

Phi glared as he looked out at the lake and said," My dad is the god of alcoholism and madness, the only things he loves is a stiff drink." His glare then turned to his flask and said," So to answer your question, no I don't think he ever truly loved my mom."

The way Shadow said her name, as if uncertain of who was actually talking, made Josie worry even more. She could hear whispers coming from the shadows that engulfed him, whispers of a traitor within camp. While that piqued her interest, Josie's attention was more focused on helping Shadow out of his trance. With worry deep in her expression, she frowns to Mathias once more before approaching Shadow cautiously. 

"It's me, Echo, and Mathias." She tells him, her voice even and calm. Josie hesitantly reaches a hand out as if she wants to place it on his shoulder, having moved to kneel in front of the other. She's afraid to make contact with the shadows surrounding Shadow's body, not knowing whether they would affect her or not, so she's yet to make any contact with him. 


Fran took comfort in their closeness, appreciating the fact that Blaze allowed the contact and didn't seem to flinch away. She takes one last deep breath before nodding, opening her eyes slowly to see his smile. It causes her to finally smile back and she, rather unwillingly, leans out of his personal space once again. "Yeah, that sounds good." She tells him, her tone much softer than before. 

"At least," Emmie agreed. She sighed heavily, taking the offered flask. "My mother was fired from her job when she got pregnant with me," She said once she'd handed the flask back. "I grew up homeless. If my father ever cared about me or my mother, wouldn't he have done something?"

Phi shrugged and said," You know the gods don't often interact with their kids, well baring my old man." He then groaned as he said," I have the displeasure of being stuck in this stuck in this camp with the guy."

Phi smirked as he said," Hey everything you say is correct, he is all those things. He is nothing more than an annoying drunk who can't get any booze." He then held up the flask and said," The only gift he really ever gave me was this flask so I guess he isn't completely worthless."
