Quinn’s hand gripped around a bomb, where in the Gods was Christian? A second layer ‘Josie’ appeared and she relaxed slightly. Now they could maybe make their escape. “Sorry about all this.” She said with an attempt at a smile. “Just was looking around. We really need to be getting going.” She took a sideways step towards the door.

Rey tried to assure Nova. “Ryder isn’t going to cut your hair.” She spoke, shooting a glare at the back of his head. He knew better than to mention that to her. “He’s just joking.” She spoke. “A hat will suit you fine.” She said. “No need to worry.” She sighed. This certainly wouldn’t be easy. “How much longer?” She asked Ryder.

Jacob peered around the other patrons, eyes squinting slightly as he read the menu. “I’m not sure.” He said. “I think they have extra hot though.” He said with a glance at her. “I bet I can eat more extra hot than you can.” He challenged with a grin.

Shard nodded his head at Roxana’s suggestion. “Sure let’s take a look.” He said with a smile before stepping towards the shelf she pointed out. “Maybe I’ll buy you something nice.” He winked at her.

“Alright, alright. No cutting the hair. Hats it is.” Ryder chuckled sheepishly, before he grew focused once more at Rey’s question. He turned the wheel, turning the car onto a forested road, old and hidden in the overgrown foliage. Back here were long abandoned or incredibly shabby houses that nobody cared to look at. He spoke.

“We’re close. We just take this road to the end and pull into the last house’s backyard. There’s plenty of overgrown stuff to hide the car. We’ll be long gone on foot and through the city fences before they can care to even look back here. There’s a path through the woods. I scouted it out the last few times I went on cigarette runs for that shitty old man.” He growled, thinking hatefully of the man they had just fled.

If his facial expressions clearly didn't show the disbelief of Lyra's answer, the fire in his hands growing brighter with anger did. "Really? But you didn't say anything to any of us? Just thought it was okay to break in to our cabin," he growled. The moment Josie, or what looked like Josie, walked conveniently through the door just as they were explaining that she had sent them caused his suspicion to jump even higher. If his memory served correctly, Josie and him had planned to meet up almost fifteen minutes from now, but she would never send someone to just grab stuff without asking first. He extinguished his hands as she stepped next to him, to avoid burning her. "Oh yeah, what were our plans today?" Blaze asked, slipping a hand around Josie's waist. What all of them had failed to see was the other hand of Blaze had slipped behind him and grabbed a mini device holding a bit of electricity Josie had supplied him with.

Lyra narrowed her eyes ever so slightly, not liking the way Blaze’s posture was, like a cat about to pounce. Especially seeing as he had swooped his arm around Christian’s waist. She wanted to slice his arm off. She wanted nothing more than to grab one of the swords and lug it right at the Hephaestus son’s body, yet she knew she had to play it cool. Her hatred for the Camp in general aside, she slowly lifted her hands in a mock surrender, pulling out one of the three necklaces she took, placing it back on the counter as she sighed.

“Red handed. I’ve been a bad girl, but do you really need to pull out the embers? It’s not like we were here grabbing swords. But, there. I put it back. I’d ask you to punish me, but I don’t think your girlfriend would like that kind of fun.” She gave a little pout, eyes flashing with mischief.

Nova sighed in relief when the idea of hair cutting was quickly tossed out of the window, glad that she wouldn't have to sport a choppy hair style for the sake of hiding from the authorities. She leaned against Rey again, the adrenaline rush slowly starting to fade away and now she was starting feel exhaustion from the long day starting to sink in. Fighting back a yawn, she looked back at Ryder, "How far will we have to walk? And where are we going to sleep tonight?" She asked.

"Oh, you are so on! How much are you wanting to lose, cause I already know that I'll win this one." Kumiko laughed, ready to make an easy win. She couldn't help the smile on her face, glad that they had been able to get some time together for once. "This is fun, we should do this more often, you know?"

Roxana blushed again before she quickly started to browse among the many things in the store, feeling a bit more at ease now that her attention was on something else. Walking slowly down the aisle, she ran her fingers over a couple of things that caught her attention before stopping in front of a large box filled with old skeleton keys. Roxana pulled the box closer and started going through it, liking the way most of them looked and was just wondering if there was a way for her to find some kind of use for them.

Echo nudged Nat lightly and gave a small jerk of her head, "Let's go over there, I thought I saw some stuff that looked interesting." She said, glancing back at her brother and Roxana briefly before she started walking away. Echo shook her head lightly, wondering when her brother would get his act together and just ask the girl out already.

"They just need a little push in the right direction." Phoenix said with a sigh, looking around at the shelves. Nothing seemed to be interesting enough for her to grab or buy just yet, so she kept walking. "Maybe getting them to spend a little alone time together is that push."

Nathaniel jumped up from the table and ran after her, quickly catching up with her and throwing an arm over her shoulder. "I hope you know that I don't intend on going easy on you in training." He teased, pulling Juniper close to him as they walked towards the training grounds. "If we want to get your skills into shape before the big game, we're gonna have to train a little harder."

Kyo waited until they were out of earshot before he trailed his fingers idly along some of the antiques. He hummed, able to feel the age of the items from the grooves and the chips, worn from use and love of someone likely long gone or moved on. Those were the best, those memory filled pieces of metal or wood that had a lifetime of use. He stopped, speaking softly.

“It’s hard, when you do like someone. To be composed around them. So, I guess I get that nervousness.” He added quickly, not giving any details on why he could understand, though he assumed Phoenix knew of his own dilemma. Even so, he offered a curious look. “I never asked you, but is there anyone you like?”

Ryder glanced back at Nova, before he answered easily. “It’s only about a fifteen minute walk through the woods. For a place to stay, I already got that sorted too. One of my school buddies has an extra room we can stay in. His parents are out of town for a week, so he’s got the place to himself. He’s no snitch, and he said we could stay over if we wanted to. Hide out and lie low until we can get that bus on out of here.” Ryder grinned to himself. “Rey and I thought of everything. You don’t need to worry one bit, Novs.” He promised.

Lloyd seemed to relax at that, grateful that he had not offended her. He offered a sheepish laugh, before he relented. “Well, I deserve that teasing then. I’ll make sure not to compliment so much, but just at a moderate level.” He eased back into the chair, closing his eyes as he shook his head lightly. “I’m liking the song playing right now. Relaxing, but energetic at the same time. I like it.” He smiled.

Juniper wrapped her arm around his waist when his went around her shoulders, her other hand rested on his side. She let out a groan and tilted her head up towards him, her full lips forming a perfected pout. "That's not fair. You're like, soooo big and strong. How can I compete with that?" She let out a dreamy sigh before giving a snort, and even that seemed cute for her. Even if Juniper hardly did any fighting, she was perfectly capable with a weapon in her hand. Though she was far better with no weapon at all, she could throw a punch like nobody's business. She supposed if she really wanted Nathaniel to take it easy on her she could just charmspeak him, but she'd never do that. At least no to her own boyfriend, that just made things feel messy. "I suppose I'll survive, but you better tell me when I'm doing a good job when I do." 

Phoenix shook her head as she picked up what looked like a decorative dagger, bringing it up to inspect it. "Not really. I haven't really gotten that close to anyone in camp." She said, shrugging as she decided to take the dagger. Maybe she can figure out a way to make it more useful rather than just decorative. "No one's really caught my interest, I guess."

Echo walked along the shelves, pausing every now and then to inspect some stuff that caught her eye before moving on. "Have you met this Lenny yet?" She asked Nat quietly. Now that they were alone, she felt a bit more comfortable talking about their little secret investigation. "I've only seen him a couple of times in passing, so I don't really know anything about him."
