“Christian and Lyra, right?” Echo asked, mentally going through what little she knew about the two. “Hard to say. They keep to themselves more than I do. They seem friendly enough to other people I suppose, but I haven’t really held a long conversation with them before. Why? Did you see something to that made them suspicious to you?”

“Alright, fine. I’ll drop it this time.” Cat said with her own sigh. She let her toes dig into the sand when she felt another wave wash over them, enjoying the feeling of the cool water and rough sand. “Just thought I would come down for a walk, I suppose. There’s only so much training one could take after all.”

Nat bit her lip for a moment, brown eyes thoughtful as she contemplated what she saw. “You know me…and you know that I don’t like to assume anything and I like to give the benefit of the doubt . But I just saw something today that I just couldn’t really shake…”she started, tucking her hands into her pockets as they walked. “You know how when the monsters broke into camp…there was some talk about how hell hounds seemed like they were going directly to grab children of the Big Three?”she asked Echo, thinking back to how Finn had almost gotten dragged off during the attack.

Jared smiled, appreciative of her letting it go. He reached out giving her arm a gentle squeeze. More than anything, he wanted to hold her hand but he was certain that Jinx would try to take his eye out. It was a miracle that she was allowing him to even walk next to her. Jared nodded in agreement,”yeah, you can’t just train all the time,”he stated. “I came down here to cool off. The waters really nice, so I went for a swim,”he told her. “You should get in,”he suggested, although he knew that Cat wasn’t a huge fan of swimming.

Echo gave a light nod, having heard several of the rumors going around the camp already. “Yeah. Some people seem to think it was mostly because the monsters were attracted to them due to their stronger scent. But I still feel like there’s more to it than just that, and there’s definitely more to the attack too.” She said with a sigh and a cautious look around them to make sure there wasn’t anyone listening in on them.

“Yeah, no thanks.” Cat said, shaking her head at him. Standing up to her ankles in the water was far enough for her, and she certainly didn’t intend on going any further. “I’m perfectly fine here on the shore, so don’t worry about me.”

Nat nodded, knowing that her and Echo would be on the same page with that. “I agree with you. I definitely think it’s more to it than that.”Nat agreed, pausing as they got to their spot in the forest. She took a quick scan around, making sure they were alone before continuing. “When I was in the dining pavilion earlier. I was just observing everyone…like I normally do. And I just noticed something off. Christian and Lyra had a pretty focused interest in the new child of Zeus, Spencer. They were just watching her. And I know that being a child of one of the Big Three, a long of people are going to be interested in her.”Nat sighed, shaking her head and crossing her arms.
“…But this felt different. The look on their faces…it was the look of someone plotting and planning,”Nat finally came out with it,”and if anyone knows that look it’s me…like I said. I can’t shake it. Something about it felt off. And I’m not accusing them of doing anything wrong, but it really made me suspicious,”she said honestly, looking up at Echo, her face earnest. It was clear that she was serious. She knew that this was a serious question to raise about the twins, fellow campers and demi-gods, but her intuition with things like this was hardly ever wrong. Which was why she was talking to Echo. Friendship aside, she knew Echo and her worked great together and she trust her completely.

Jared nodded with a chuckle,”I figured you’d say that,”he said grinning. “But I mean, you could always hold on to me. Learning to swim might come in handy someday,”he pointed out gently, before adding. “Not that you should learn right now. I know you’re out here to relax, not train”. Jared picked up another pebble, tossing it across the water. “By the way, how am I supposed to win Jinx over? You got any tips and tricks to make her hate me less?”he asked, looking at the raven again, frowning.

Echo leaned against the side of the large fallen tree that took up one side of the small clearing that she and Nat had claimed as their hang out, crossing her arms thoughtfully, “That does seem strange. From what I’ve seen and heard of those two, they always seem friendly and nice to others. It doesn’t make sense for them to be plotting something, whether it’s a prank or not, on a new camper like Spencer. And the fact that she just so happens to be a child of the Big Three is too much of a coincidence.” She said. If Christian and Lyra were the ones behind the attack, then that would mean her suspicions about Nathaniel were most likely wrong. Unless the three of them were working together, but if that were the case, just how deep did this traitorous plot go?
Shaking her head, Echo looked back at Nat, “But that’s just one coincidence, and we can’t base a snap judgment off of that. We need more evidence before we can consider them to be true suspects in this investigation.”

“I don’t think me learning how to swim will do any good, if I’m being honest.” Cat said, wrinkling her nose at the thought of it. She had a hard enough time finding her way around when she didn’t have Jinx or her cane, which she hardly ever uses since the raven hardly ever leaves her side. The thought of being stuck in the water without solid ground beneath her feet and not knowing which way was up or down, left or right made her shiver.
Cat reached up and brushed an affectionate finger just under Jinx’s beak, a small smile on her face. “You might as well give up. Once she’s made up her mind on how she feels about you, there’s no changing it.” She teased,

Christian rolled his eyes at his sister,”big bum your face,”he scoffed getting up from his spot. He waited until she fixed her hair before grinning and reaching out again ruffling it up once more with a mischievous laugh before quickly moving out of range of her so she couldn’t retaliate, heading to exit from the pavilion. Moonblazer —————— Spencer bit her lip, embarrassed that Kassie knew exactly what she was talking about. “Yup. That was me..”she answered with a nervous laugh, running a hand back through her red hair a, a tell-tale sign of her being flustered. “Definitely agree with you on that one. I felt awful that I just showed up and…I just got overwhelmed and it…well it just happened,”she sighed, a slight grimace on her face. “I just don’t want something like that to happen again, so learning to control it would be nice,”she said finally, looking back up at Kassie. Icefire15 & Flamestar96 Walking through the camp, Lyra noticed the weather, musing. “It’s only going to get colder, here on out. Just our luck.” She mourned the sunlight, before she shook her head. “If I go hide out in the Hephaestus cabin’s furnaces, you can stand guard.” She snickered. |

“Oh, Nathanial. She’s just trying to be social.” Levin crooned, wisps of smoke melding him back into image as he nimbly leaped down from the tree. Brushing off his shirt, Levin eyed the son of Ares with a catty grin. “But, I will say. I’ve got something to tell you that you might actually care about. Because I was right about Phoenix. Why you needed it in metaphorical writing instead of taking my word is beyond me, but I’ve done what you asked.” Pulling out the pendant from his neck, he watched it gleam every few seconds. “Right now, she’s probably cleaning up her forge station. She’s clearly brushed by the other pendant piece I put on her desk. Because this only responds to the blood of Hectate. Which. She has.” He purred. ”I’ve had just about enough socializing as it is.” Nathaniel said, giving a roll of his eyes. It was annoying enough having to keep up appearances in front Juniper and the other campers all the time as it is, and finding a quiet place around here wasn’t an easy task either. Nathaniel let a small smirk grow on his face as Levin revealed the good news, his eyes watching the glowing pendant closely. “I wanted solid proof before I started making any plans. It never hurts to be too careful.” He said, already eager to see just what kind of possibilities this would bring to his plans. “Now we just need to find a way to bring this power under our control. I would hate for it to just go to waste in this useless camp.” “As if that’s a challenge for the brilliant Nathanial.” Levin sang, clearly being bold enough to be sarcastic, yet his demeanor was welcoming to his ally. He put his hands behind his back and rocked on his heels, before he reminded. “She doesn’t like me. Instincts, probably. She can tell I’m tricky, I’d have to be an idiot not to see that. But, she’s desperate when that power activates. Desperate enough that it just might override that mistrust.” Levin shrugged airily. “I wasn’t there when the twins led your batch of monsters to the camp, or when Lilith staged herself as the main and only aggressor of that attack, but I was told that her powers activated when her brother was impaled on a vine like a fork to a slab of steak. Which, wow! What a trooper for that little firecracker, there’s so little of him in person that I’m shocked he didn’t just snap in half from that!” He crooned, before he offered in a knowing purr. “We could always use him as a trigger again. Maybe this time she’ll hurt someone when she uses that power trying to keep him safe. Oh, she’ll feel so guilty, “I’m a monster, guys, I need to control my power”.” He imitated. “See? Guilty. And Guilt can drive you to do crazy things. Like trust me, a son of Hectate.” His teeth gleamed through his smile. |

He pouted a little though at her response about Jinx, watching he affectionately pet the bird. He cleared his throat, looking right at the bird,”look…I know you don’t like me. But Cat likes me…so that must mean I’m not that bad right?”he asked the raven gently, in all seriousness, certain that the bird at least mostly understood him. xD “We both have her best intentions at heart,”he added, making his pitch to Jinx. |

Anyone wanna start a post for me?) (Yee. I got Evelyn open. I can clone Kyo too. Sasha’a training with Jared rn if Erin wants to walk in :3 ) Evelyn finally finished her last task, briskly and cheerfully giving the kitchen staff a good-bye before she rushed out of the pavilion. Today, she intended to see if Drake would want to maybe perhaps possibly want to go out on a little walk, one might call it a date, but who was really counting? She saddled up to the Nike cabin, quickly fixing her hair and her appearance before she composed herself and knocked on the door. “Drake? Are you in there? It’s uh. Me. Evelyn, I mean.” She tried. Kyo tried his best to get the last few bits of Summer warmth before Fall began by spending some time outside the Forge. He quietly flicked his eyes over to the boisterous Ares Cabin, wondering how they were able to constantly sound like they were having a competition in there. He quickly averted his eyes, opting to practice with his fire beneath one of the trees in camp. He collected a pile of leaves, carefully lighting one in his fingertips aflame and controlling the burn to slow down and speed up. (For ya, Fox!) |

Robin stumbled from the Ares cabin, sporting a fresh bruise along her cheek and flexing her wrist. She had gotten into a little tussle with a cabin mate over who punched the hardest but easily dispatched them. She was making sure her wrist was fine, not paying attention when she stumbled right into Kyo.

I dunno, you wanna go on a walk with me?” She invited. Kyo startled a bit, squeaking out a quiet curse in Mandarin, before he realized just who had stumbled into him. He blinked owlishly, before he realized the leaf he dropped had now set the small leaf pile on fire. He quickly lifted his hands, putting out the fire by pulling it into his palms and skin. With a small sigh of relief, he looked up at Robin with a slightly embarrassed look. “S-sorry! The shade uhm. Probably made it hard to see me…” He apologized. |

Emilia was making her way to the climbing wall, one of the activities she enjoyed most, it being more of a fun activity that a workout really. When she wasn’t training or horse-back riding, she was at the climbing wall, watching other campers climb and part-taking of it herself usually. Everyone usually got pretty competitive there, and she thrived with competition.”
Christian grinned and nodded,”let’s” he agreed, making his way towards the Hermes cabin, hoping that Quinn was in. He knocked on the door when he got there, before tucking his hands into his pockets to wait.

“Absolutely not.” Their foster father snapped at them, crossing his arms over his chest and glowering at the two. Out of all of the children he and his wife had fostered, these three siblings had been the worst. And they had only had them for a year so far! At least the older two would be gone soon, the younger one probably wouldn’t cause so much trouble if the bad influence her older siblings brought weren’t around as much. “You think we’re made of money or something? That we’re so rich that the two of you can just go out and get food whenever you want? You got money of your own to pay for it?” “What’s with all the shouting?” Their foster mother soon rounded the corner, an annoyed look on her face for having been interrupted in the middle of her phone call with her chatty friend, “Can’t you all lower your voices? Some people are trying to have a decent conversation here.” Nova flinched slightly at the sharp words coming from the foster parents, having always hated being yelled at. She looked up at Rey, wondering if they had stalled enough for Ryder to get what he needed out of the safe. Kumiko glanced back at the others briefly before looking back at Jacob, “I suppose that’s true. Quinn was laying in her bed, just hanging out and having a restful few minutes. She heard the knock at the door and sighed lightly. She got up and went to answer. “Hey.” She greeted, seeing Christian and Lyra. “What’s up?” She crossed her arms and leaned against the door frame.
“I’m not doing anything.” Drake spoke. “I was just going to go see what I could get up to but yeah sure.” He nodded his head. “I’d like to go on a walk.” He said with a smile. “Come on let’s go.” He took a few steps away from the cabin.
Robin huffed lightly, looking at Kyo. “Do you always set up in the middle of the path?” She asked with a slight edge to her voice. She wasn’t the friendly gal.

Evelyn held back her excitement with a dazzling smile, stepping back to allow Drake to take up room at her side. She eyed him brightly, a curly strand of hair bouncing near her face as she admitted. “Thank the Gods, I really didn’t want to go alone. And who better company than you? Wanna walk around the lake? I bet we could skip stones or something.” She offered. Kyo blinked, glancing up once at the tree he was under, and then a few feet to the side, where the set path was. While he knew he wasn’t literally on the path, he guessed that Robin wasn’t being literal, but moreso metaphorical. Even so, he felt his face warm. Even when annoyed, Robin had a presence and look that made his stomach flutter. This had been his big dilemma since he had watched her spar with the other Ares kids once and watched her mop the floor with them. All that strength was incredible to witness. Kyo opted to accept her scolding instead, standing up from his spot and glancing a bit shyly at her. “Not… always. But, I suppose today. Are you in a hurry to get somewhere?” He asked lightly. |

Ryder finished up, locking up the safe and gritting his teeth angrily as he heard the shouting directed at his sisters. With the money and their personal documents secure, he slipped from the bedroom closet and back towards the window. Quietly sneaking out, he closed the window and crept around to the side of the house. Once in place, he just had to wait for Rey to get Nova out of the house. He quickly texted her the signal, knowing she would know it was from him, and that he was ready to go.
Kyo wandered idly after Jacob, glancing between him and Kumiko before he looked at Roxanne with a quiet yet knowing look. He wondered if she was aware of how fond Jacob was of her.

(Gonna pause my cloned characters for now so that we can finish up this little side plot and so that things don’t get confusing in the rp lol)
“What part of no do you brats not get?” Snarled their foster father, glaring down at the two girls menacingly. Now he was sure that they were purposely pushing his buttons, and he was starting to lose his patience and temper with them.
Nova reached out and grabbed the back of Rey’s shirt with a shaky hand, nervousness starting to make her heart race. Their foster father had a real mean streak when he was angry, and she had seen what he was capable of when he’d finally had enough of their antics. “M-maybe we should go back upstairs.” She whispered quietly, looking up at her older sister.

Kumiko stepped down from the bus that had carried them into the big city, looking around excitedly as she waited for the others to get off the bus as well. “So, what should we do first?” She asked Jacob, looking at him expectantly.
Phoenix sighed as she followed after the others, starting to feel a little less tense now that they had left the camp behind them. Maybe getting out of camp and leaving the stress of her recent problems for a little bit was what she needed after all.
Echo waited for everyone else alongside Kumiko, glancing around at her surroundings carefully. Always the cautious one, she kept a sharp eye out for anything that posed a threat to her and her friends.
Roxana followed her half-siblings off of the bus, sticking close to Kyo and sending a shy look over to Shard every now and then when she was sure that he wasn’t looking. She shivered lightly in the much cooler air here in the city, no magic borders keeping the cold away from them here. Roxana adjusted her big scarf quickly, looping it around several times until all anyone could see was the top part of her face.
