Edit: Here's a reveal of all the clan leaders! (ノ・ω・)ノ
As you might have figured out, this game takes place in the forest territory and has no canon characters! All NPCS are OCs.
ThunderClan:
RiverClan:
ShadowClan:
WindClan:
I'm back at it again...
General information about the game:
RPGMaker MV is the engine. Sorry for those still thirsting for a good 3d game. Think a cleaner Untold Tales or the old warriors games by admin. Combat in my game is turn based, per the usual rpgmaker style.
I'm going to release a test build that will set the stage for what the rest of the game will be once it's finished.
This build is roughly 50% done. The last things to implement are the main story lines, which will take awhile since they're the real meat of the game.
~In the mean time, I want to know what ideas you would want to see as "free form" or "filler" content.
Below the spoiler is a list of features that are already in game. They're working and ready to go... mostly. Feel free to skip over reading this list and just spill what comes to mind.

Join Any of the Four Clans
No need to unlock them, a fresh character has access to play in any of the four clans.
Hunting / Herb collecting
Depending on your role, warrior or medicine cat, you will have access to either hunting or collecting herbs. These both reward exp, and both have quests to unlock better items and rewards.
There are cats in the clan camp that will sell you prey if you're a medicine cat, or herbs if you're a warrior.
Customization Options
While the fur color options aren't to their full potential in this release, there are many accessory options available. These along with other aspects of character creation will continue to expand in future releases.
To ease this, there is a rare item that you can use to copy the appearance of any npc.
Additionally, each clan has a hidden quest that unlocks an accessory available only for that clan. Changing clans with this accessory will not get rid of it.
Abilities and Ability Quests
As you level up you'll unlock new abilities. These skills are different depending on weather you're a medicine cat or a warrior. Once you reach level 10 you can meet with your clan's trainer to unlock new abilities. These can be split into two categories: ranks and affinities.
Ranks are stronger versions of the skills you learn as you level.
Affinities are specializations that allow some variety in combat. Cats under different affinities will learn spells unique to their choice.
Affinities available to warriors:
Bear - learn the charge ability, lowering the enemy to a % of their
max hp.
Wolf - learn the roar ability, doubling the damage your party does for a few turns.
Turtle - learn the fortify ability, reducing the damage your party takes for a few turns.
Affinities available to medicine cats:
Dragonfly - learn the swarm ability, increasing your party's (battle) speed for a few turns.
Minnow - learn the restoring waves ability, restoring hp and mp to your entire party.
Rabbit - ●︿● Still looking for the right ability to give this affinity.
Morality
Your moral choices through the story will give you extra options and rewards. For example, if you do the Shadowclan bonus questline you'll unlock the wings accessory. Completing the main storyline will give you an alternate version of the wings depending on your moral standing.
In addition, when you complete the main storyline you'll get three other (cosmetic!) things that are based on your moral choices.
1. It will change the appearance of the spell you learn, Lunar Inspiration.
2. Depending on the moral choices made, you'll unlock one of two new character appearances.
3. Characters that follow the good route will get a title "The Angelic" meanwhile the bad route players will get the title "The Demonic"
What's the use of titles? Yehaw, next feature.
Titles
Titles are almost like another type of armor. Inspecting your character in the menu will show their title above your info, and having titles equipped will increase your stats. The stats affected are different between the titles. Naturally, you can only have one on at a time.
Mates
Multiple cats in each clan, and even some outside, are romanceable. There are no gender preferences, meaning you're free to pursue any of them regardless of your character's gender.
The mate system is akin to a dating sim. Along with collecting "hearts", and going on dates, each cat has a unique questline associated with being their mate. Mates will occasionally give you gifts, and if your GAAB alines with theirs you can have kits. (Gender assigned at birth can be different from pronouns.)
You'll always have two kits. Their genders are randomized. The first kit will resemble your mate, and you'll get to choose the color of the second one. You'll get to name both of them, and they'll grow up as the story progresses.
Dungeons and Boss Fights
You might just find a vicious animal of the wild while exploring the forest. If you defeat it and bring proof of the battle back to your clan leader you'll need to gather some allies and take the fight to the remaining threats. Each clan has a different enemy to face with varying difficulty.
There are five different levels of difficulty, with the fifth being a timed run that gives some of the best advancement items, along with cosmetics.
Main Storylines and Side Questlines
An equal amount for each clan, with a few side quests being completeable by every clan. >‿‿◕
There's a lot to get into if I really got to explaining all of these so I'm going to skim over this feature.
The rundown is:
-Queens and medicine cats have repeatable quests. The clans have slight variations in some of these repeatable quests.
-Some quests are different depending on if you're a medicine cat or warrior
-Many of the one-time quests are different from clan to clan and will give you a better relationship with the cat who asked you to do the task.
Weather Cycles
Clear skies? Rain? We've got it all.
Day / Night Cycles
While you're in the forest, time will progress from day, dusk, night, and dawn. Some creatures will only appear during certain times, and certain cats like particular times of day or weather conditions.
Keybinding and Sound Control
Thanks to Yanfly's plugin, you'll have complete control over your keybindings, along with the built in full volume control over sound effects, music, ambiance, and more!
(Apprentices are not currently in the game, but they are planned.)
