In A Vision of Shadows, there was a golden-yellow she-cat with green eyes named Sleekwhisker.
She was the daughter of Dawnpelt and Crowfrost, and the littermate of Strikestone and Juniperclaw.
Dawnpelt of course was the daughter of Tawnypelt, who was the daughter of Tigerclaw, who was the son of Pinestar, who was the son of Oakstar, who was the son of, who cares?
Tigerclaw ALSO had a mother named Leopardfoot, who was the daughter of Swiftbreeze and Adderfang, who were also the parents of Patchpelt, Redtail, Spottedleaf, and Willowpelt.
Tawnypelt had a mother too, named Goldenflower, who was the daughter of Speckletail and Smallear, and the littermate of Lionheart, and the older sister of Snowkit.
Speckletail also had parents, but this post is about Sleekwhisker, so back to her.
Sleekwhisker first appeared as an apprentice, where she started mocking the leaders, along with Needlepaw and Beepaw.
She then does an abhorrent action, and joins Darktail, who is this pernicious cat, who made it his goal in life, to wreak havoc on the clans.
He is NOT Sol's son by the way.
Sleekwhisker, and pretty much everyone else in ShadowClan decide to join Darktail and his non-blood family who he calls The Kin.
Eventually, after witnessing and experiencing many unpropitious events at the paws of Darktail and his Kin, everyone decides that they want out, except Sleekwhisker.
In fact, she was so loyal to Darktail, that she helped kill her own grandfather, Rowanstar, which was just inconceivable, that she could do that to her own family member.
If Sleekwhisker were to want to re-join ShadowClan, what do you think would happen? Do you think they'd forgive her for her rancorous acts, and give her a second chance, or do you think they would tell her to go to the Dark Forest?

I don’t think ShadowClan would take her back at all after engaging in kidnapping and also killing their former leader and probably her own mother. Or at least I would hope not.

Sleekwhisker had already been taken in when ShadowClan merged with SkyClan, and look how well that turned out. I can't see them welcoming her back so quickly after that. At the very least, she'd be put under constant supervision until she earns their trust if she ever decided to return.

I really hope that in book five, Sleekwhisker rejoins ShadowClan looking for redemption, only to reveal it was all an act, kill Tigerstar, and run away.

I could see that happening, now if it was pre-Tigerstar 2 ShadowClan, I could see them maybe letting her back in pretty quickly, but Tigerstar has shown, that he does NOT trust outsiders, because of what happened with Darktail. LightflameThat's actually a really interesting storyline.

I’m not related to Darktail but I wish I was because he’s a major ****ing hottie. I’m a vampire cat but my claws are straight and white. I have pale yellow fur. I’m also part of the Kin, and I live in a warrior clan called ShadowClan in England [citation needed] where I’m a young warrior (I'm seventeen moons). I’m a goth (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black corset with matching lace around it and a black leather miniskirt, pink fishnets and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside ShadowClan. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of ThunderClan cats stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

Considering how incredibly vile she is, and probably the vilest VoS character, I doubt she'd be welcomed back after everything she's done. She's a dangerous backstabbing individual who has no value in friendships or family and only cares about gain for herself. She was willing to lie, kidnap, betray, and murder even her loved ones and did it all just because she thought it was fun. If a character is fine will helping destroy her own clan just for kicks...I don't think it's a good idea for them to be forgiven. |

Damn, when you point out all the bad things she's done, wow... I'm honestly surprised at how little she's talked out when it comes to villains, not in the fandoms, but in the books. Though, it's understandable that they'd want to forget that part of their lives, including her. Also, I doubt she'd be a very compelling villain on her own, or even with a group of other cats, with her as the leader, because she always seemed like more of a follower than a leader. |

She'd probably drop her kits off on Raven or one of the less tough members of the group (considering they didn't disband) and then never look after them again. Or, she could play the role of Smoke, and raise her kits to hate the clans, honestly though, I wouldn't blame anyone if they hated those self-righteous clans, like they're always pressing their way of life on everyone, and looking down on those who are different they're not as bad as The Sisters though. |

That sounds like a fantastic idea! I wouldn't want Sleekwhisker to get redeemed or anything, but what if the story was told in 4 POVS, hers, kit 1's, kit 2's, and Tawnypelt's? Anyway, Sleekwhisker gets hit with a CRAP ton of guilt, and she starts reevaluating her actions or something like that, but in the end, she DOESN'T redeem herself, because not every villain deserves a redemption arc. |
