Personality: Katsura is a determined, strong-willed, stubborn individual. Her mother and father both taught her to be kind, courageous, and to never give up. At times Katsura can be a bit to strong-headed and stubborn for her own good, and tends to be a bit on the feisty side when upset.
Appearance: Katsura looks a lot like her mother with her warm, honey colored skin tone, dark brown eyes and eye shape, and thick, long hair. Due to her father being from Berk, Kat is a bit taller than the average Asian woman. She also has semi-wavy hair which is similar to her father's. She likes to wear makeup that she got from her mother's home land, and light war paint that is common on Berk.
Family/History: Katsura was born and raised on New Berk, her mother, however, is from a distant land. Before the vikings moved to New Berk, and even before Hiccup was the chief, Kat's father lived on Berk and would often do scouting missions for Stoic. On one of his scouting trips a thick fog covered the sea, and the men got lost trying to find their way back home. They were at sea for quite some time before they found land again, but it wasn't Berk. This was a land with new beauty and a different language than their own. The men stayed and explored this new land while waiting for the fog to clear up to journey back home. While staying there, Katsura's father met a beautiful maiden, and despite the language differences they hit it off pretty well. As the time passed, and the fog finally cleared, it was time for the men of Berk to head back home. Kat's mother decided that she wanted to come back with her father, and to live on Berk with him. Once the scouting group returned back home Nishikiri (Katsura's mother) and Ulf the Brave (Katsura's father) were wed. The two of them had seen dragons, and even rode them as they all moved to New Berk before Katsura was ever born.
Strengths: Katsura is brave, determined, and strong-willed which helps her in most situations where there is a sense of danger, and riding dragons. She is fairly good at getting a dragon to trust her.
Weaknesses: Due to her natural talent for calming a dragon, she usually ends up in dangerous situations she did not foresee. Her lack of knowledge about herbs has also gotten her into some pretty bad incidents.

Age: 21
Personality: Zzyzx, a travelling medic, is exceptionally bright in the field of biological sciences. He is logically-inclined rather than emotionally driven having worked and practiced in his field of study for so long (some may even call him cold...clinically so). Zzyzx finds it easy, however, to talk about things he is naturally curious about and will brighten almost instantly.
Appearance: Zzyzx has brown/tan skin, black hair and brown eyes to match. He has curly black hair that is cut shorter and closer to his ears, and he stands around 6'5. He wears a thigh holster, but instead of carrying around weaponry, he has a plethora of other supplies. Zzyzx has a proesthetic, metal arm due to muscle atrophy via schistosomes (a parasite).
Family/History: Zzyzx comes from a family of travelling medics and is ready to carry out what his family had practiced for generations. His father and mother never lived together due to differences in culture and language, although Zzyzx still communicates with his father and remains close to this day, seeking out his advice often.
Strengths: His greatest strength is his intellect and knowledge of human anatomy.
Weaknesses: Zzyzx cannot swim nor does he like high altitudes. In addition, he relies too heavily on his sight and has a hard time seeing what is not visible. Most importantly, Zzyzx has trouble adapting to weapons he has never used and his weaponry range is very small as his father had taught him how to treat wounds rather than combat. But more to come.

Krypton flared out his wings and landed with precision, pupils dilated. Zzyzx unlatched himself from the saddle and stirrups before sliding down his dragon's back. Krypton rumbled as he looked around, listening to the distant vibrations of—

"Dragons," Zzyzx breathed, sticking close to Krypton. "I can't believe they're all back."

Thinking he would be the only around at Dark Deep, he didn't do the best at keeping himself hidden.

Sensing something large and out of control, Krypton roared and swung his tail around his rider, eyes narrowing. Zzyzx noticed the way the ground seemed to vibrate underneath his feet, and with hardly any time to mull over what he thought was newfound danger, three dragons came into view.

These bulky dragons were dragons Zzyzx only ever heard and read about. "Catastrophic Quakens!"

However, these dragons honestly seemed to have no interest in them and used their tails to smash a large boulder, where they began to graze on the rubble.

"Wow..." he said softly but suddenly remembered why Krypton reacted in the first place. "What is it?"

Krypton snarled and looked up at the sky, tail still wrapped protectively around his rider.

Krypton snarled, teeth bared as he stared down the newcomers. Zzyzx patted Krypton on the flank and stepped forward, silent but alert. The Catastrophic Quakens roared, evidently unhappy about the interruption.

Zzyzx carefully ventured a little closer to the messy heap, Krypton at his side. Whatever had crashed, Zzyzx definitely heard a human voice.

"Easy Krypton," he said softly as the dragon's tail began to rattle angrily. "Want to go back? I think you missed a few boulders."

Krypton snarled again, tail unfurling to reveal three stingers, each dripping with venom.

"It's not injured," Zzyzx said to his dragon, taking a step back. "Not our problem."

Just as he was about to head off, one of the three Catastrophic Quakens charged at all four of them. It's bi-fold jaws split open, revealing an intimidating row of teeth.

"Krypton, èsat!"

Krypton, with shocking agility, leapt over the other dragon and its rider, landing a quick sting to the Catastrophic Quaken's thick scales; almost immediately, the venom took hold and stopped the large dragon in its tracks, leaving it almost frozen in place.

"Don't give Krypton an ego," Zzyzx said with the slightest hint of mirth. "Who are you?"

Krypton still had his three tails unfurled and one wrapped around Zzyzx at his waist. He flared his nostrils, eyes still alert and blazing.

"Were you under the impression they were all in the Hidden World like that....Chief of Berk said?" Zzyzx asked, smoothly dodging the question as he was not comfortable relinquishing that kind of information. 

"I thought...." he paused, trying to remember what he was told. "D'you know who I am talking about? That Viking...he had that--er---Night Fury or something, yes?"

"What is Berk? What....where is it?" Zzyzx pressed, frowning slightly as he considered everything he knew. "The Chief must know more....more than I do at least."

(I like Kat. She doesn't give him a chance to really refute. She's just like: let's go, dude. Time's a-wasting!)

Zzyzx gave the bubbly girl a look of confusion and exasperation, but she was off before he could say anything. Without any room for argument, he mounted Krypton and followed her to the sky.

Krypton struggled to avoid the large, four wings, but was considerably more agile in the sky, able to do twirls and forward flips while riding on the wind currents made from the other.

It was almost like a completely new dragon, one who loved to be in the sky again, able to stretch his wings and enjoy his freedom.

"How do you know so much about this Berk?" Zzyzx asked over the wind. "Did you know anyone who lived there or who does now? How do I know they won't attack? How can we be safe?"

(She's so hyper, I love it)

"Wait, wait," Zzyzx said, trying to wrap his head around everything that was happening so quickly. He was suddenly going into unfamiliar territory, but he suddenly decided he did not want to go without this new person. "Okay, okay. Wait for me."

Krypton picked up the pace.

Instead of speeding up, Zzyzx had Krypton slow down and ride the draft to save energy like he had planned.

"Thanks," he mumbled under his breath and allowed Krypton to ride the current smoothly, barely using any wing flap. He raised his voice for her to hear. "You sure you know what is at Berk?"

At first, Zzyzx didn't reply, but then something flew right into his mind faster than a fly would go into his mouth.

"WAIT," he said and brought Krpyton to a full halt. Krypton grumbled at the abrupt change in speed and looked at his rider. "You're talking about a Viking with a Night Fury! And you're expecting us to not get fried the minute we are in their sights?"

Zzyzx refrained the urge to roll his eyes, but decided to let the girl think what she wanted. He followed her to the sights of this...Berk, a huge island with waterfalls and cliffs with weaponry and sentry scouts.

However, what surprised him the most was the number of dragons flying about, specifically a few dragons who took to the air....from what he could see there was a Monstrous Nightmare, another Stormcutter, a Gronkle...

Zzyzx made a strange click that made Krypton's ear-like appendages perk up. He came to another halt, growling low when he spotted the oncoming dragons.

Toothless, the Night Fury, seemed to lock gazes onto the Triple Stryke as if the black dragon felt some sort of instinctual dislike. 

Krypton roared at the Night Fury, but the Night Fury charged a plasma blast in his mouth, ready to strike.

"Krypton," Zzyzx said in warning, forcing his dragon to calm down.

"For Odin's sake," a stout, black-haired Viking said on a red dragon. "We can't trust this dragon."

"Let's gas 'em and blast 'em!" a male said, hanging onto a two-headed dragon.

"Tuff, quiet," a blonde woman said with an agitated roll of her eyes. "Is that....Katsura?"
