Brigit Armstrong
Druid
Brigit listened to Moโs response and to the interaction between the other woman and Bailey.
Bri was glad to have found the other two women. Until then she had never been able to make sense of her memories, of the strange feeling she had always had of not quite belonging. It had been isolating, and frightening, and she had not mentioned it to her mother for fear of bringing more unnecessary stress and worry into her motherโs life. It had been bottled up for quite some time. Now, things seemed to make sense.
โAye, ruling the world does sound pretty belter, in all fairness,โ Brigit acknowledged โand itโs gonnae be nice to visit Skye.โ
Mo had clearly thought this plan through, and Brigit admired that. She thought through very little if she were completely honest, especially if it was important. She called it following her gut instincts, others called it idiocy. They could quibble over terminology. The fact was, her gut instinct usually led her in the right direction, whether by luck or other means.
โThis plan seems sound to me,โ Brigit nodded โeasier said than done, probably, but we can cross that bridge when we get tae it. Iโm happy tae help in whatever way you need, just let me know. But you already knew that.โ
Brigit was happy to support Mo however she needed in order to pull off this plan. And she was happy to help Mo figure out the parts of her plan that were maybe a little vague or fuzzy at the moment once they had more of an idea of where their future plans would take them.

"I wonder what's takin' the wee bastard s'long." It was halfway a question to her sister and her friend, and halfway just thinking out loud. All of these unknown factors made her antsy -- where was Merlin? Where was Arthur? Lot? The boys? When her sons reincarnated, would they reincarnate as babies, or would they be born to other families, only to meet her in this world after being a part of it for so long? Bailey Foster had no husband or children, obviously, she would remember that. But somewhere in this world, Lot, Mordred, Gawain, Gareth, Agravain, and Gaheris were waiting.
Or were they? Hell, they had no idea where Arthur was, or what he was doing, so there was no confirmation that the knights were even back.
Bailey's attention returned to Moria and Bri, though, and she smiled. World domination was nice, but she was far more excited about traveling and questing for all these items. The joy was in the journey, and whatever hippie nonsense kids these days could think up for things that were inevitably true. "Where were ya thinkin'a lookin' for the eggs, Mo? Bri, d'you have any ideas?" Her first assumption would be some mountains, or a forest or something like that. Secluded, still wild. A dragon wouldn't like society in the state it was in today.

Moria "Mo" Foster the great witch
Mo smiled at Brigit's words. At least someone saw the realities of her plan. Ruling the world seemed pretty belter was probably an understatement, but oh well. She wasn't about to argue over word choices. It's not like Mo wasn't aware that her plan would be harder to execute than it sounded, but she was happy that her people trusted her enough to believe in the mission. She moved closer to Brigit, bumping her shoulder against the other woman's. "Thank you."
It helped her belief, having these people who had her back no matter what around her.
"He was never timely, that's for certain." As far as she was concerned, he was waiting for her to be almost at the cusp of victory before coming back. The stupid sorcerer was just that type of person. Mo wouldn't be surprised if he actually was sitting around, just waiting for her to make a more public move just so destroying her would be sweeter. It's not as if he couldn't be collecting his crew, but she didn't feel like that was the case. Something in the universe just felt uneasy, like the way it did that her druids weren't together.
She watched her sister from her spot next to Brigit, frowning. They both had children who had become apart of the King's knights, but not even she was sure who would come back and who wouldn't. She couldn't tell her sister that she wouldn't have to fight her children. She didn't know if her son was coming back herself. Really, Mo could only hope that her husband didn't make a return trip. He was not important, and it would be rather irritating if she had to plot to kill him again.
"There are a lot of places in Scotland where eggs could be hidden," Mo wasn't sure exactly where, but she knew that it was a good country for the old creatures to be hidden. They needed magic to be able to hatch in this day and age. So long that it was she or a druid to wake them up, the dragons would be loyal to her and her kind. By waiting, the sorcerer would hurt himself in the long run. Was it better for the others to wake up as older as possible? Yes, of course it was, but that didn't mean it was the best plan.

Brigit Armstrong
Druid
โAnywhere where there are mountains,โ Brigit nodded in agreement โIf youโre looking for pure massive mountains the highlands arenโt called the highlands just for the craic. Theyโve got huge mountains; the Grampian Mountains are ideal. Ben Nevis is there and itโs the tallest mountain in Scotland.โ
God, she loved the highlands. That landscape was the one sheโd grown up in, and she loved it very dearly.
โSkye is actually not a bad place to look either,โ she commented โitโs got some pretty peng mountains too. Sgรนrr Alasdair is really high. Itโs a good place to start Iโd say.โ
Skye would be a good place to start their journey. From there, they could search the mountains of Scotland for these dragon eggs. There were a lot of mountains, so itโd be searching for a needle in a haystack, but they could do it. If anyone could, it was them.
Their comments about Merlin induced the redhead to shrug
โThe longer he stays the better for us. Anyway, Iโm not feart of that dunderheid.โ

Rory MacIntosh druid wizard
Rory liked to think he was an intelligent man.
He wasn't, but he still liked to think so.
Now, some people might think it's sad, that he thought of himself so negatively, but really, it was just the truth. He wasn't some all seeing genius. Half the time he couldn't get magic to work right, and he was a druid. Supposedly powerful, if Moira was correct. Which, the dark witch was insanely intelligent. Rory thought only the best of her.
See, the problem lied in the fact that Rory made bad decisions. He had currently made a terrible mistake, since his hands were bound in vines. All the women were busy talking, and he couldn't interrupt them for help. Whatever they were talking about seemed fairly important. So instead, he just stared at his wrists, feeling like a pathetic loser.
There was some way to get out of these bindings, specifically because he knew that they were of his own creation. It wasn't as if some strange force had tied him up. No, he was just being stupid and messing around with magic. If Moira noticed, she would hang him by his ankles for not listening to her. In fairness, he had meant to! He had just gotten distracted.
It didn't help that he hadn't remembered a single thing they had been saying, so he couldn't even interrupt with something useful. "Thig dheth!" He muttered under his breathe, trying any words for a spell. "Leig ร s!" The young man hissed quietly, shaking his arms a little bit. Instead of responding to his words, the vines just crawled up his arms further, making their way to his elbows.
Rory looked at Mo in a panic, but she had her back to him. What had Brigit just said? Some kind of insult, he was pretty sure. Goddess Above, none of them would notice his struggles. It was official. He would be trapped in these vines forever, cursed to roam the earth bound in plant life. People would call him the Walking Ivy Bush. Rory really didn't want to be a bush.

Kassie took one long look at the landscape as she wheeled her suitcase along the stone path, careful not to trip over a lip in the ground. She gave out a sigh trying to determine where her next destination would be in this foreign country of Scotland. She had traveled from Glasgow to Mallaig via the famous train from the Harry Potter series and had partially hiked up the side of the United Kingdom's tallest mountain, Ben Nevis. She really wanted to travel to Loch Ness, but wasn't sure of the best way to travel. Surprisingly, you'd think that Kassie would know more about her heritage, but growing up in American without much of her great-grandparents influence caused her to become more American than Scottish.
"Ugh" Kassie moaned as she checked her phone, careful not to drop the device and lost access to the many different services it provided. She started to calculate the best way to get up to Loch Ness, but light reflecting off a shop window caught her attention. A small shop dedicated to what she thought was ancient folklore. She smiled and decided to head inside knowing she had some time to kill before she needed to leave.

"Aye, you're right." Bailey shrugged, not particularly intimidated by the wizard. He was powerful, sure, but they had the advantage on this go-around. Namely that Moria had her druids, but his knights were still not here yet. Well...here, yeah. But physically, not mentally.
God, this whole affair made her head hurt the harder she thought about it.
Dragons were less complicated, though. "If we find a dragon, ah wanna raise the wee thing. Imagine, a pet- BUSH." That sounded stupid, but now wasn't the time to correct her statement and claim she didn't want a pet bush. She figured her startled expression towards...whatever the hell Rory was doing would tip off her sister and her friend that this was not the case. "Rory, what the hell is that?!"
Well, you just stated what it was, Bailey.
It is a bush.
Rory is a bush now.

Brigit Armstrong
Druid Brigit had been listening to Bailey, yโknow, like one did in a normal conversation. But that was when Bailey exclaimed โBUSHโ, which one in fact did not do in normal conversation. Following the gaze of her friend, Brigit looked over to see Rory apparently slowly being consumed by some kind of plant.
โWhat in the name of all that is good and holy have you done?โ Brigit asked
She couldnโt stop herself, though, and that was what she burst out laughing
โJesus wept, youโre an absolute weapon,โ she said with a giggle
She couldnโt catch her breath for a good few moments, but when she finally did, she looked over to her friends
โI suppose we ought to help him,โ she commented โheโs taking a skelping off some plant life.โ

Rory MacIntosh druid wizard
Even though he was a grown man, he still flinched at Bailey's shouting.
Don't judge him. It was loud, okay?
Rory usually didn't mind the others being weird. It was rare to see them acting normal, while all of them were together. It's like they all got hive brain when in the same mile radius. No one could talk them out of any crazy plansโlike hunting down dragonsโwhen they all agreed with a plan. The worst part was the fact that none of them ever disagreed with one of their crazy plans. It was just consistently insane, and none of them saw a problem with it.
Truly, though. Rory should not be the one complaining about anyone's behaviors at a time like this. He was, in fact, becoming a bush. Bailey's statement hadn't been wrong, but she had gathered everyone's attention. Even Moria was staring at him, mouth slightly open in surprise. It was at that moment that Rory decided even death would be better than what was currently happening. He was sure of it.
"They're vines," Rory said, stubbornly. With his words, the vines crawled higher, making him shiver. It felt creepy, these mindless objects reacting to something he could not control. He didn't like it, and rather wished they would get off him. That had been the goal anyways, to practice his magic. This was a binding spell, and it would not come off.
Even with Brigit's compassion, Mo just laughed. "No, he did this to himself." She wanted to see how long this could go on for. He looked a little stuck, and he had obviously done this to himself. It would be a waste of a learning lesson if he did not remove the spell himself. "Let's see how badly he wants to get out of it."
The man couldn't even be mad. He had interrupted her very important meeting with his foolishness. "I can get it off!" Rory shot Brigit a glare, before moving his rage onto the vines again. "Bร sachadh! Marbhadh! Meath!" Still, no matter how frustrated he got, the vines would not fall away. He looked at Mo, helpless. She rolled her eyes, bored of their little game now.
"Fine."

- Elizabeth Pendragon the king :: 23 :: female (she/her) - o - o - o - As much as the gal loved her stay in the wonderful outback world of Australia, Lizard was glad to be leaving. Suitcase in one hand and plane ticket in the other, and a backpack properly suited on her back, she had overstayed by around a week now in the country. Not on purpose, but things came up and she had to reroute her travel plans.
It was inconvenient but she wasn't very willing to complain considering the amount of people that didn't get to travel country to country every few months. The every few months was simply out of her personal preference too, unwilling to spend too much time in one place and start to call it home. That would be terrible and stiff and something that Elizabeth would feel trapped in.
So, travelling the world it was. Given the delay, she found that her original goal to go and visit Costa Rica had been put on a detour. So, it had been rescheduled for a good, ol visit to solid reliable London, England. She couldn't say how excited she was, but it was one of the more available trips she found off hand.
Much to say, Elizabeth ended up boarding the plane and simply had to wait for what rounded up towards a little over day journey in all. If there was a small stop in San Francisco and Chicago along the way, Elizabeth was certain she'd have something fun to do.
