Howdy all!
I really love 1x1 rps, and I do love large clans, but I've been wanting something nice and in between for a clan plot that I had created awhile ago. Essentially, the clan/coding/main plot is all typed up, but it was very complex to be able to feasibly expect to move through with many RPers, and too fun in its long form for me to want to scale down to become a 1x1.
I'd love to do it with two to three other RPers who would like to commit to a fun storyline with lots of room for important characters and so so many motives! This is just a call out to see how much interest I could garner:)
A brief structure of it would be:
-Each RPer has a main, a character who is highly influential in the clan and the main plots.
-They also choose two to three other characters who will be RPed often and will have significant roles in some/all plots.
-The rest of the clan will be made up of a few minor characters for each RPer, who will rarely be RPed to great length, and mainly will serve to fill family ties, backstories, and move things along.
That's the general character structure I want, and since the plots I have are complex, you can see why I want more than just myself and one other player, to ensure that there's a few major characters with their claws in the action!
If anyone is interested in the clan/plot, or this style of roleplaying, let me know and I'll release more of the plot details, we could do some planning!
Here is a list of roles to be divided out gradually/whenever we have the set group of RPers:)

More like NPCs, these roles can be RPed casually but are not to take on too much spotlight in order to streamline the plot of the above listed characters. For reference here is the clan/plot! I would probably change some names and might tweak the positions but the main roles would be Leader, new deputy, old deputy, with the potential of medicine cat apprentice as another main role as lead Starseeker. Secondary roles could be warriors, elders, or apprentices, who have intersts in the plot, like mate of leader, littermate of someone, ally of someone, minor starseekers, ETC. OneClan It has been twenty moons since the merging of two great clans, Sun and Moon. Obeying the will of StarClan, and working together in harmony, most of the clan's cats have all but forgotten their former divisions. A small few, young and old, have not.✺☾The Past Once, two mighty clans lived divided lives.SunClanPowerful cats, long of fur and brawny of build. Boisterous and bold with brilliant coloured pelts, they preferred the broad daylight to hunt, as few enemies dared oppose their size and strength.MoonClanSleek cats, lengthy of limb, pelts blending with shadow and moonlight. Intelligent and peaceful, they relied on the dimness between dusk and dawn to hunt, using their cunning and stealth to avoid dangers.Slowly, the clans became too big for their own territories alone. When they both began hunting on each other's territory, skirmish after skirmish was fought on tiny strips of land while neither ended up with more prey. Then, StarClan intervened. They decreed to both clans' medicine cats:Sun and Moon against themselves will only end in blood, the Brightest Star and Longest Shadow must bring the two to One. ✺☾The Agreement There was little doubt as to the meaning behind their prophecy. Charged now with uniting the two clans, all made sacrifices. MoonClan, fearing defeat at the paws of the larger, battle strong SunClan, agreed to terms. SunClan, pleased with their leader's position, agreed as well. Not without plenty of dissent, the Agreement was reached between MoonClan's Waterstar and SunClan's Brightstar. 1. SunClan's leader, Brightstar, became the new OneClan leader. 2. MoonClan's deputy, Longshadow, became the new OneClan deputy. 3. Both medicine cats would keep their positions and train their apprentices. 4. The next deputy after Longshadow must be a cat born of SunClan and MoonClan parents. 5. Apprentices of one clan must always have a mentor of the opposite, unless they are of both.✺☾The Aftermath Waterstar, who was not in the prophecy, and had less lives than Brightstar, gave up his leadership and surrendered his single remaining extra life to live as an elder. He died of age almost immediately.Longshadow took a SunClan mate, and had the first litter of kits born of both Sun and Moon parents, thus making his kits the candidates for deputy after Brightstar's death. To some, his hasty declaration of love for a cat he had recently been at war with was seen as nothing but a strategy for power.Brightstar expended his final life only several moons ago after falling to his death at Mountain's Feet in a severe windstorm.✺☾Major Plots A Deputy's StrifeSunClan's former deputy, who was revoked of his position after the merge, now desires his deputyship back. This former deputy of Brightstar is unwilling to let go of their rightful position for the sake of a young cat, Longstar's own kit, who received the appointment only because they are born of both clans. Longstar made the decision for the next deputy to be the very first kit born of both clans, in order to prevent dissatisfaction, but this has not necessarily stopped the younger littermates from disagreeing. Though Longstar's actions align with the merging agreement, the deputyship of his own kit is a source of contention to those few who already oppose him. ✺*Major Plot Role* Former SunClan deputy - 50+ moons old - Replaced as Brightstar's deputy by Longstar, unhappy with new deputy's appointment.- ☾*Major Plot Role* New Deputy - 13 moons old - Longstar's firstborn kit - determined as the future deputy from birth.- ✺Longstar's mate - 35+ moons old - SunClan she-cat and mother of first OneClan kits, became Longstar's mate almost as soon as the merge occurred. - ☾The first OneClan warriors - 13 moons old - 2-4 littermates - includes new deputy.-

Sweetsky - Stealthfire ✺☾Death from the StarsThough the Prophecy came from the stars, the Agreement was created by living cats. A small but powerful number of cats in the clan believe StarClan no longer wishes for the clans to be one, displeased with the Agreement the clans made on their own. These few seek another prophecy to split them once again for good. The freakish storm which killed Brightstar, and the swift aging death that befell Waterstar before, are seen as proof that StarClan's wishes were not carried out well enough. Soon, a devastating sickness will strike, the final evidence of StarClan's rage. ✺Starseekers - Three cats of either clan who don't believe in the Agreement, who wish to take StarClan's messages into their own paws, and desire to receive another prophecy declaring the division of the clans. With the sickness, they become utterly disobedient to all but StarClan. Could include new young medicine cat.

☾Keeper of the Prophecy - 30+ moons - Either Clan - The last of the two medicine cats who were given the original Prophecy. Supports their original interpretation and Longstar's desire for continued unity.
✺Casualties - Cats who will catch the sickness, with some not surviving.
☾Supporters - Cats who, during the sickness, eventually follow the Starseekers' words more than their leader's, and desire a split.
✺☾Roleplay Updates - It has been one moon since the first OneClan kits, born of Longstar of MoonClan and his SunClan mate, became warriors. Today, Longstar will make the eldest of these his new deputy, fulfilling the agreement reached twenty moons ago between the merging clans. -✺☾

I really love this idea. The plot as well as the way it won't have too many roleplayers. I have to ask how advanced/long you would want roleplay responses to be? If you're aiming towards multiple paragraphs per post, I don't think I would be able to keep up, but it is still a really great idea c:

apricity thank you! I'm quite flexible with length so long as it's fair to other roleplayers and really helps to move the story forward. So while I'll be the first person to agree that not every post needs 10 lines to continue the narrative, I'd hope that most responses can reach a paragraph of 5 lines as a base:)

Hey there! This thread is really captivating my interest and I'd love to be involved in some way. May i have aa day or so to look over the plot again? I'm trying to decide what place I could fit in well in the roleplay, especially with my main character.

That would be great for the young deputy! I should clarify because I'm not sure if it's clear up there because I don't have the allegiances, I think I'll plan to use my old character as the Leader role, his main motive is just keeping the clans together so having his new deputy be reluctant woul dbe super interesting

That all sounds like it fits really well. So I was thinking either they're given an apprentice right away or that condition is waived for them since the Agreement takes precedent over the Code

No other clans, just the two of them and now the one. But, there's twolegs that come during greenleaf so sometimes kittypets are with them, so cats outside the clan do exist to an extent:)

Territory
The current season is leaf-fall. The twolegs have just left Greenleaf Village and prey is beginning to dwindle.
OneClan territory comprises of forests rivers, moors, and cliffs. It is contained to the north by mountains, and to the south by steep cliff walls. To the east and west lie flat, barren fields with sparse prey, and little reason to venture.
OneClan camp is the former SunClan home, encircled by a circular mound of packed dirt made before living memory. Its dens are dug out ditches in the ground topped with harvested undergrowth and tree fronds, creating wide, comfortable dark spaces for nests to sit. The ridges surrounding the camp mean nothing enters without being seen coming over the sides, and also serve as a high rise for the leader to watch over the camp or hold clan meetings.
Little Stream runs through OneClan camp via two small openings in the camp's circular ridge. It is a runoff water source from the cliffs, and pools to a swampy stop deeper into the forest.
Big Stream enters OneClan territory from the cliffs, and wraps through much of the forest. An excellent source of fish, it also becomes wide and marshy at points, providing frog and toad hunting.
Clear Valley is the lowest point of the territory, and contains the meeting of three treeless meadows that run narrowly through the woods. Its open vantage point and grassy center makes it the idea training location for young apprentices.
Pine Forest is the densest section of forest that makes up the eastern wood. As its name suggests, it holds dark, dense pine trees, and harbours lots of shadows for hunting common woodland prey.
Cliff Fall is a sheer sheet of rock wall beginning at the abandoned twoleg den and continuing on out of OneClan territory. It includes a small waterfall that pools into a pond, and is a perfect place for a safe swim or waterfowl hunting.
Nut Grove is a small separate forest that holds the richest amounts of OneClan territory's prey. Its fruit and nut trees attract a wealth of animals, and is widely regarded as the first choice for hunting, especially when training young apprentices.
North River borders the clan's territory and restricts passage beyond its banks. It is wide, with steep beds that are impossible to traverse or hunt from. Its only purpose is to protect the clan from dangers from the east.
Greenleaf Village is a collection of very few twoleg dwellings which is only a danger during greenleaf. During every other season, the twolegs abandon this place, allowing cats to use the lake for fishing or hunt out rats attracted by twoleg dens.
Twoleg Path is a dirt path which can be an exposed place of danger during greenleaf when some monsters travel through.
Windy Moors make up the northern territory, and unlike the flat plains to the east and west, the moors have hills where some rabbits and hares can be found.
Mountains' Feet is the name for the rocky bottom of the mountains that cut off the clan to the north. It contains multiple gravel caves, and is also the former location of MoonClan camp.
Deadcave is a particularly colossal cavern in Mountains' Feet. This is where OneClan buries its dead, and where medicine cats go to commune with StarClan. [/div][/font]

[Yes that could be really cool once they get more organised, that cave area is a great spot for clandestine activities hehe I'd like to start with the main bits of the deputy plot and then introduce the sickness, once that happens the starseeker plot will really get going! But we can still have the young medicine cat be looking for a better prophecy since Waterstar and Brightstar's deaths were suspect already.
I think I'll make a separate page to start putting some characters up if you'd like? We can still change things around and use this page for planning though! I'll reserve the three spots for yourself sweetclover1 , as well as Shadowkit and apricity if they'd like to be on board since you three were the first to state interest!

So I'd be happy for us to divide out some characters so we can get a sense of who wants to do what sort of plots and all? For now if whoever wants to throw out 1-3 major characters they'd like to RP we can just do the minor ones at the very very end:)

sweetclover1 By an apprentice you mean one of the apprentices assigned at 5 moons or just any apprentice? Both are fine!
apricity Just so I know for my own littermate, what are you thinking your littermate's position will be on the new deputy and their father/leader? Just wanna make sure we've a nice variation of characters for the litter and I'm flexible:)

I was thinking that mine will be on the starseekers side - they always felt like they were in the shadow of the new deputy growing up and constantly tried to get their fathers attention, so they're jealous and have a bit of resentment towards their favored littermate.
