What is yours?
I'm an INFJ, I'm not sure if it fits me 100%, but a lot of aspects of it does. Like, I'm not sure about the feeling part, because I'm not a warm and approachable person at all, but yeah.
Do you think yours fits you?

I'm ENTP. It fits me really well. I'm not extremely extroverted though. Probably 55% extroverted and 45% introverted.

I'm somewhere between INFJ-A and INFP-A which is funny because those are my parents' personality types. I feel like both are rather accurate for me.
Just so you're aware, "feeling" doesn't necessarily mean you have to be a warm and approachable person. It just means your decision-making is often ruled more by emotion. That's interesting, that you're between your parents' personality types, I have no idea what my parent's personality types are, but I think my sister is an extrovert, not sure about the rest of hers. Ohh, I have a REALLY hard time making decisions most of the time

He's an engineer and he's more of a detail-oriented, planner type compared to my parents and myself who are artists. It's been really helpful for all of us to know each other's personality types.
I feel that haha

I'm halfway between ISTP and ISTJ. I like to favor ISTJ, purely because it lines up better with Galen's personality chart, and I like old things.

INTP here. Not sure how accurate this is. I guess it could be right in some aspects, especially considering my enneagram type(5w6).
While I think you should take those things with a grain of salt they can also be pretty helpful in some aspects.

Mosspath27What's Galen's personality chart? PineclawThat's true, I've been looking at INFJ pictures, and a lot of them seem to fit me surprisingly well lol.

Greco-Roman humorism (the four humors based on the four major elements, which correspond to hot/cold and dry/wet). Galen was the one deemed important enough to have his work preserved. I'm not particularly well-versed in it, but the Jung/Myers-Briggs description of ISTJ lines up with Galen's description of melancholy.

That's really neat, I think it's cool how there's all these personality tests

Oh, so that's what it's called. Phlegmatic, choleric, melancholic and sanguine, right? The description for melancholic seems to fit me the most, followed by phlegmatic. Can't identify with choleric at all xD

usually an INTP-A or INTJ-A. Usually fits me but they have some things very wrong.
MBTI is just astrology for psychology.

Same here, especially about the part with the gatherings with total strangers. I'd rather know at least someone in the group so that I wouldn't think I shouldn't be there. And fairest judges. We give people the benefit of the doubt. Chicken

*Ravenpaw*Yeah, even though I don't really initially trust people, I'm still going to listen to what they have to say, and not outwardly judge them, unless there's proof that they're bad or whatever, you know? I mean, I'm not going to be a jerk over a possibility, I'd rather be nice to a guilty person, than be mean to an innocent one, if that makes any sense? I hope it does lol I'm terrible at explaining things.

I don't actually know much at all about my personality type, despite multiple teachers/professors' attempts to make me learn. It just never stuck in my head. Every time I read a description of a personality type, though, at least for introverts, I see a fairly high portion of it as being familiar.

I think people put way too much emphasis on the MBTI. I feel like each individual category in it (I/E, N/S, etc.) have some merit, but the whole four letter type seems like complete BS to me.
I identify strongly as an INTP. When I read descriptions of each personality type, that's the one I see the most of myself in. However, when I take quizzes or tests for it, I've gotten ISTP, ISTJ, and INTJ pretty evenly. I see a bit of myself in INTJ, but I can't relate to the ISTP or ISTJ types AT ALL.
That's partially why I say each letter difference makes sense, but not the whole type. Yes, I'm introverted and I am near incapable of making an emotional decision (it's actually led to some problems where people have accused me of not having a heart), so I and T are correct. As for N/S, I would say I straddle the line between them. When looking at J/P and what that means, I am definitely more J. So I would be an INTJ or an ISTJ. I would be okay with that if all it was saying was "you have these four attributes". But it's not. It's saying "these four attributes make you an architect/virtuoso/logistician/whatever" and tries to define me as a person, which it fails miserably at.
It's particularly bad with all those memes and charts and whatevers where people are like "things an INTJ loves" or "things not to say to an ISTP". I know those are meant to make people feel community and like people understand them, but it just totally alienates me. I relate to the INTP ones, but according to every quiz on planet Earth, I'm not an INTP.
So yeah, MBTI is crap. Sorry for the rant.
