About the impostor.
I just thought of something...how do we know it's a cat? We've seen before, that some creatures can interact with other creatures, like Millie being able to talk to dogs, and Midnight being able to talk to the fox.
What if, it's a fox, or a badger, or something, who learned how to speak cat, and they're back for revenge, because of always getting chased out of their homes?
Did that group of badgers from the second series ever complete their revenge?

I guess it's a possibility, but idk if a badger could fit into a cats body is that clever. Besides, they don't really have a connection to the plot anymore and it would go against all of the tension/development between Imposter and Squirrelflight.

Lol, I don't think physics matter that much when it comes to spirits. True, but isn't there just as much tension/development between Bristlefrost, Spotfur, Lionblaze, Jayfeather, etc? Pretty much everyone who he deems as a trouble maker?

But he does seem to have a strange obsession with the code, and I doubt that a badger or fox would know about the clan culture - gatherings, starclan etc

ChickenSorry if I'm asking you to repeat yourself, but why don't you want it to be Ashfur?

Chicken Sorry if I'm asking you to repeat yourself, but why don't you want it to be Ashfur? Well, one reason is because I think it's kind of lame, that he only had a grudge against ONE cat, and he's dragging down all these other cats, and he even killed Shadowsight and all of this is just because someone rejected him? Like what?

Go ahead I’m actually okay with it, as someone else on here has already said, his development just felt so abruptly cut off, and well, undeveloped. It just felt too easy? One moment, he’s threatening to kill his ex girlfriend of three days, her children and her father and his leader, whilst plotting treason with a rival clan, and the next he’s chilling up in starclan.

That's true, but a lot of villains seemed like their development was abruptly cut off, like Sol just being chased off by Hollyleaf, never to be seen again. Darktail dying in the middle of A Vision of Shadows. Thistleclaw, Mapleshade, and Darkstripe just escaping with their undead lives during the great battle. I'm not suggesting it's any of these cats, but yeah. I just thought of something though, in Squirrelflight's Hope, didn't it say that the Dark Forest is gone or something? I wonder where all The Dark Forest cats went? Also, Ashfur was plotting treason with a rival clan?
