 Descendants
Long ago, before you laid curled in your comfortable twoleg nest, the land surrounding it was lush. A forest bordered the housefolk fences, and where the busy road now runs there was once a river that met with a lake, which gave life to many beings. You'd heard stories of these beings when you were a kitten curled into the warmth of your mother, but they seemed like they were just stories. There couldn't really be cats who lived in such feral ways... right? What had they been called? Clans?
StarClan is whispering your name. In your dreams you hear their distant voices, their gentle cries. "What do you want from me?!" You call into the hushed void, but there is no response. Night after night it is disturbed by the confusing dreams.Until one day-
"We need you. It is time for the Clans to rule once more. Many must become one to defeat the growing Unkindness..."
In a daze, you are startled awake by a cluttering from your housefolk in the food-room. As you wind through their legs, the dream echoes in your ears. Many must become one defeat the growing Unkindness... what could that mean?

 About the RP
(Please Read)
Kittypets have been having strange dreams - something about clans and fighting, but what on earth could it mean? Allow me to explain...
Long ago, the forest was ruled by ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, and SkyClan who lived harmoniously within their own territory bounds. They obeyed the Warrior Code and believed in their warrior ancestors who lived in StarClan - which are all the stars that twinkle in the night sky.
For a long time they lived peacefully until... twolegs started trapping them. The clans were either starved due to lack of prey, captured by twolegs in small wired cages, or had to run away and live as loners and rogues. The twoleg intervention happened so quickly and without warning - there was nothing anyone could do. Many clancats were killed, but many adjusted to lives with twolegs - albeit unwillingly.
This is where descendants comes into play.
Kittypets now live abundantly with their housefolk in a housing estate which is a short distance from the lake where the clans used to reside. Among these kittypets are descendants: cats who have clan blood in their veins. Recently, StarClan has been walking in the dreams of these descendants. A grave battle is shimmering on the horizon, and it is up to these kittypets to reforge the ways of the clans.
(Please Read)
Okay, now that we have some background information regarding descendants and what has happened to the clans, lets discuss the purpose and the plot of this roleplay - which will be quite plot heavy.
In short, the idea is that kittypets have been having dreams from StarClan that are prompting them to band together and unite as a clan. This is because there is a group of rogues (called The Ravens) who are also banding together but their intent is to attack any and all kittypets - believing them to be pitiful and gross.
To start this RP, the main purpose will be character building, relation building, and clan building: cats learning how to survive, forming relationships, some taking interest in herbs, and learning how to be a clan.
As the RP progresses, we'll start introducing this band of rogues who will attack with the intent to kill. This is the second major plot point.
We will have minor sub-plots as well (who will take charge? Who will cure them of illness? These cats know their soft kittypet lives - will they cope in the wild?). Please feel free to discuss any character sub-plots you'd like to explore in the RP!
Now, I know what you're thinking: Aether this sounds way cool! But it also sounds kind of elaborate, and I'm turned off because it seems like there's a lot of plot and not a lot of freedom :c
But do not fear! This is absolutely not the case! My character, Blaze, will be rallying cats to join as he has had specific dreams unlike others. He will become leader and forge rules and codes and territories (with everyone's help of course). In this RP, you can focus on your own character and how they acclimate to the Clan and forge their own relationships with others. You don't have to worry so much about how it happens, just focus on how your character is reacting.

Rule 2.
I will not be setting a word limit per post, but please try and keep your posts descriptive and forward-focused. If you are low on muse, that's fine! I personally prefer to reply to descriptive posts as it keeps me interested in the characters.
Rule 3.
Whilst activity is important, I totally understand that real life and timezones get in the way. So long as you able to pop in every few days or let me know if you will be away for a while, that's okay!
Rule 4.
Please try to keep all characters realistic (so no strange pelts, oddities that aren't approved, etc). These are kittypets though, so pure-bred cats are definitely allowed! Also, when making a character please try and keep genders even! Also, side note, I know that kittypets will usually be spayed or neutered but for the sake of the RP we will just ignore this detail.
Rule 5.
Please be aware of the plot in this RP that means some cats may be injured or killed at some point. Also, kittypets haven't been trained to hunt and fight so no cat will instantly be great at it. This RP will spend some time building characters and such. I will accept SOME loners into the RP who will assist with hunting and training techniques, which is realistic enough, but probably not enough for everyone to make a loner/rogue.

The former clans lived by a lake a short distance from the mountains. Now, that lake has been turned into a holiday destination for twolegs. Much of the forest that made up ShadowClan, ThunderClan, and Riverclan territory has been turned into camp grounds and cabins for the holiday times. The place where the beginning of the RP is set is in twolegplace - a new 'estate' outside of the camping grounds. It is a standard estate with many rows of houses separated by fences, with a few clumps of trees here and there but it isn't much to look at.
We will begin this RP in twolegplace (which you can just imagine as your average suburbia), but once the ball gets rolling and the cats move to find a territory, this is how it will be! The cats will travel around the lake - through the old ThunderClan territory, across the old WindClan moors, and back towards the mountains.
The Camp

At the base of the mountains there is a small rocky area in which the clan will set up a camp (note the picture with the cats on the rocks). The leaders den is a crevice in the rocks that has a bend, at the end of which is the nest. Top crevice is located at the top of the rocks, meaning that when the leader awakes in the morning, they have a view of the entire clan. A few steps down is a ledge in which the leader will call clan meetings.
The medicine cat den is at the base of the rocks, down a tunnel under the rocks. It opens into a small, peaceful cave with a trickling pool at the furtherest end and a crack in the wall that is perfect for storing herbs and medicines. There is space in the cave for about eight cats - making it a spacious medicine cat den.
The warriors den is a thicket of brambles at the base of the cliff-face. It is reinforced with thorns and twigs, making it a warm sleeping place as well as secure.
The apprentice den is a cave situated under the High Ledge, under the ledge is a sandy base where apprentices will often scuffle and play. There is a thin crevice under the ledge that is just large enough for a cat to squeeze through, and inside is a round opening with a similar base, where the apprentices sleep.
The nursery is nearby the warriors den - there is another ledge that hangs over the earth with a crevice (similar to the apprentices den, but wider) that allows the cats to enter into a small cave. The entrance to the nursery is reinforced with brambles and thorns.
The elders den is a hollowed out fallen tree near the entrance to the medicine cats den. There is a bramble thicket protecting it's entrance.

The Territory
The territory, in short, is a forest at the base of the mountains. The territory is littered with mossy boulders and jagged rocks, and it slants downwards towards the lake. The boulders and rocks begin to ease the further one goes from the mountain, but since the camp is set directly at the base of the mountain, the large stones are more prominent. The cats will learn to hunt among the trees and boulders. Here are notable parts of the territory:
The Stream - the main water-source when the weather is dry, the stream runs out of the mountain and all the way to the lake that glitters on the horizon. The stream runs directly through the middle of the territory, so to get from west to east of the territory, one will have to cross through the stream. There are stepping stones at the base of the mountain, or a fallen tree if one is crossing through the middle of the stream.
Training Hollow - The training hollow (pictured below to the right) is a clearing made up of mossy fallen trees and soft, grassy, mossy earth. It is one of the few places nearby the camp which is free of jagged rocks and boulders.
Forgotten Stream - a dark and grizzly part of their territory, down to the furthermost south-west of their territory is a dark, marshy part of the forest in which there is a stream that has dried out. Cats believe that twolegs have caused this to happen, as when it is followed, there is a strange twoleg structure that is preventing the water from flowing. Regardless, the trees here are thick and the earth is soft and muddy. It is a great place for hunting, but can be frightening as the thick forest blocks out much light, and the roots of tree weave in and out of the earth like reaching limbs.
Sun-Stones - nearby camp, free from the cover of tree branches, are rocks that prove to be perfect for sunning on. As it is close to camp, it is ideal for queens and elders. There have been sightings of snakes, so it is important to take care when there.

The season is leaf-fall. The weather is starting to cool down, but the prey remains bustling, and the trees remain healthy. Cats will age 1 moon after every two weeks. You do have the option to bypass this for a reason, just let me know (e.g., new character, still developing character, doesn't fit plot, etc). The next age will be: ???
Cats names may be a little different because some cats may want to change their prefix to rid themselves of their kittypet name, whereas some may wish to keep their original name and keep it in their warrior name. Keep this in mind when making your cats name! (Think of SkyClan names!)Clan Census

A lithe white she-cat with sleek fur. Sorrel is mostly white with black splotches over her body; she has amber eyes. Sorrel is a loner who is a skillful hunter, but has the tendency to be sly. She is witty, and one would not want to be the victim of her sharp tongue. 42 moons.

Evie - aetherEvie is a long-furred white she-cat with light grey smudges on her sides, and a grey crown on her head. She has bright blue eyes. Evie is pampered, so she can need some encouraging when it comes to doing things outside of her nest. She is well-known for her motherly tendencies and her warm heart. 37 moons.

Baxter - aether A smooth-furred tom with deep, chocolate coloured fur. He has long, thin whiskers and a keen senses. Baxter has round yellow eyes. Baxter is full of energy and very adventurous. He can act without thinking and often ends up in a lot of mischief. 9 moons.

Honey - lillypopper
Honey is a short haired orange tabby. She has bright blue eyes with a slight green sheen to them. Honey is not much of a fighter she mostly likes to help cats when they are hurt. 28 moons.

Snow is a long haired white tom with green eyes. He has one black boot on his front left paw. Sleek, soft-furred striped silver-gray she-cat with pale blue eyes and a long, fluffy, darker tail. She is motherly and gentle, but is known to have a crabby side too if she hasnt eaten- which is her favorite thing to do. 19 moons.

Very intelligent, observant, and tactical, Shadow is the type of cat that stoops to toying with others when he's bored, but his analytical mind could be put to good use with direction. 28 moons.

White furred tom with brown paws, tail tip, ears and face, his chest and neck being fluffy and his eyes bright yellow. Coco is a very anti-social cat. Or at least that's what he wants others to believe. He comes across as an arrogant and uptight jerk, however underneath the cold exterior is a cat with a compassionate heart. Her mother is from wind clan and her father is from shadowclan || Honey was originally a loner before she got taken in by two-legs. She had left her nest when her father and mother had passed as she didnt want to stay there and she was picked up since she didnt have on a collar. She has been wanting to leave again but she knew if she did leave she wouldnt make it as a loner/rogue/clan cat like the cats in her dream was telling her to do.|| she is very shy when first meeting. || dependent from windclan  |
