•~•Ivypaw•~• ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ » (Flickerpaw) @stitchlover20 (Nightwing) Though the clan seemed busy around her, Ivypaw was just grateful to not be apart of the cats chosen for the patrol. Though she constantly yearned for adventures, this one in particular seemed to be more than she wanted to take on. Staying my Flickerpaws side as the clan meeting ended she was surprised when her own mentor approached them. However Nightwing wasn't look her. The warrior was looking for her sister Flickerpaw. "Hi Nightwing, did you need me for anything? I'm happy to help you out in any way", she mewed, soft tone barely making its way to her mentors ears. The apprentice at times felt a slight tinge of jealousy towards her sister and how popular she was amongst the clan but for the most part Ivypaw did her best to ignored these feelings. Now she just wanted to do her part to help her clan, whatever that may be. Nightwing's focus at the task at hand got shaken by a familiar voice and her gaze shot to her apprentice whom she didn't realize was standing by her sister. At times like these she felt a little guilty for not taking time to speak with her apprentice, but it felt impossible when so many other tasks were needed to be done. "I don't think I need any help at the moment, Ivypaw." She clicked her tongue slightly in thought before saying, "You could make sure all the cats who are going to travel gets enough to eat?" Slight embarrassment came over the deputy for not knowing what her own apprentice could do at these times. Not many of the other cats who aren't traveling wasn't doing anything to help since the plan is so straight forward and nothing could be done besides giving luck to the traveling few.

Eaglefrost Stealthfire brambleflight cowbird However much he hated being concidered the one to escort the apprentices away from the danger verses facing the danger Eaglefrost knew that Badgerheart was correct. The apprentices did need someone who would be able to keep them safe afterwards and lead them strategically. They were the future of the clan, the entire reason the pateol was crossing the thunderpath in the first place. "You can count on me. If anything happens you can count on us back tracking to a designated check point." Nodding to Badgerheart in respect the tabby tom turned when Dandelionfur joined them. "We are working on it. However it will be difficult to plan much untill we cross the thunderpath. Badgerheart had mentioned sending a scouting party ahead of the patrol." Filling in the pretty white feline on one of the plans curious to hear her opinion on the matter. Eaglefrost was begining to gain confidence in the success of the mission assigned to them. It was reassuring that so far everyone seemed to be willing to collaborate and do whatever necessary.

Stealthfire and brambleflightHootshade nodded at Badgeheart’s plan in approval. He knew the senior warrior had a plan that was worth his choosing to lad this crucial mission. A little bit of the elder’s heart wished he was young and strong again-like his grandchildren- so he could participate in missions like this, but he knew his days of patrolling and fighting were far over. He spotted Dandelionfur making he way over to them and he purred, “Welcome, Dandelionfur.”

•~•Ivypaw•~• @stitchlover20 Ears lying flat in disappointment the calico molly did her best to keep a respectable response. "Yes Nightwing, I will see to it right away." Standing up she touched her sister flank with her tail tip before trotting off to do as she was told. As deputies apprentice Ivypaw felt as if she could do something bigger, be more helpful. Yet here she was stuck feeding the chosen cats before they left. Though unhappy at the assigned chore, Ivypaw diligently made her way to the freshkill pile. She would due her duty, but that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. Picking through the pile Ivypaw chose a young rabbit and a plump squirrel. "These should do the trick", she muttered to herself as she picked them up and looked around for the chosen cats.

Barkclaw / Leafheart ~Skyblaze~ : Medicine Cat Den
Barkclaw felt a good bit more comfortable with Leafheart's assurance that did in fact have time for him. He would have hated to distract from work much more important than his own personal worries. He was disappointed to see her body language fall at his eventual question. Had he unintentionally tread on a subject that was already weighing on her heavily? The mature tom tried his best to take her response with bravery. StarClan had revealed nothing to her yet. He nodded politely and seconded, "Yes, we're all continuing to keep a close eye on the apprentices. Turtlepaw is never where I can't find her." The practical tom's emotions began to well inside him as he had run out of pragmatic options to solving the fear of losing Turtlepaw. Leafheart's apology moved him, and he was hesitant to ask his next line of questioning. "You're doing all that you can. You're always so prepared," he flicked his tail to her herb stock, "It's the very best you can do. Do you...do you think if StarClan hasn't said anything to us yet...do you think they'll ever help us with this?" His green eyes met hers nervously, though he tried his hardest to maintain a logical standing, he couldn't help a sense of idealism fighting its way to his hopes. ~Skyblaze~ here's the last Bark reply! We can skip them to having just listened to the meeting as well if you'd like:)

Mousepaw brightened at his mentor's affirmation of his bragging. He was always glad he was assigned a mentor who was kind and patient with his antics, and shuddered to think of how dreary days would be with a stern warrior who made him work all the time. The tiny tabby was even more excited when Mushroomclaw promised him continued training. "Oh good! I was worried I'd be cooped up with all the other apprentices until the patrol returned," he mewed, his nose wrinkling, "I may be small, but even I feel cramped in that den for too long. But with Rainpaw, Cloudpaw and Darkpaw gone, maybe there'll be a little more nest room." As he babbled forward, he tried to remember back a moon ago, when Icepaw, Shallowpaw, and Honeypaw had been stuffed in their den as well. The young tom felt a wave of shame running his tongue about a packed den when three of his denmates may never even come back.
"Thank you, Eaglefrost," Badgerheart replied, still in a low tone. With his plan of emergency safe with his trusted clanmate, he turned to Dandelionfur as the white she-cat joined them. "Dandelionfur, we were just about to find you and Stormbreak. Eaglefrost spoke right, that's our plan for when we cross the thunderpath. Of course, we'll need to see what's in the dark woods for ourselves before we come up with any other plan. I just hope their scents haven't faded." He doubted Honeypaw's trail would linger still, as she had been gone for nearly a moon. But he still held hope for tracking Shallowpaw and Icepaw, his own apprentice's trail he could follow well. If their suspicions were right, the apprentices would all be in a similar direction.
Dandelionfur's offer was noble of her, and Badgerheart nodded in thanks. "I'm glad you're prepared. We'll break the patrol into shifts, if we all take turns scouting a little ahead, it will make sure we don't get separated too distantly, and give us all a chance to track to the best of our ability." With the reality of the situation setting in, Badgerheart knew there was little planning that could be done now. He glanced over to Snowdapple as she chided their son Sleekpaw, a sight he would sorely miss as soon as he left. Badgerheart dipped his head to the warriors. "I'll let you make your final preparations with your apprentices, and make sure we all sleep well tonight. We'll have plenty to eat before dawn, and we'll be on our way." Not wishing to linger upon the patrol as anything more than a warrior's expected duty, he saved his emotions for the journey itself.
Having excused himself, Badgerheart made his way to Snowdapple. Sleekpaw made his way back toward the apprentices den, having had his fill of riling up his mother and grandfather. "I'm sorry I didn't speak to you right after the meeting." He knew she would understand, as he had chosen a mate who was just as dutiful and work-minded as himself. "I wanted to make sure we had enough time to speak."
Sleekpaw slunk away like a shadow, as he habitually moved. The last thing he wanted was to run into one of the apprentices who were chosen for the patrol. How could Sparrowstar send three apprentices, and none of them were himself or Patchpaw, who were the oldest? The broody tom made a point to avoid his sister as she spoke to Darkpaw, the lucky younger tom. He wandered over to the fresh-kill pile for a meal. Spotting Ivypaw with a hefty amount of prey, the skinny tom meowed, "What has you so hungry?"

Eaglefrost brambleflight cowbird Listened to the rest of their little meeting Eaglefrost then dipped his head to Badgerheart as he conclude his message and dismissed himself. His yellow eyes watched as the tom trotted away to speak with his mate. Eaglefrost could only imagine what it would be like to head off on a mission and leave a mate behind. Giving his pelt a slight shake, tabby fur across his shoulders ruffling, the warrior then cast his gaze past Hootshade and upon Dandelionfur. Her recent commitment to volunteer to be a scout raised his vision of her. She had a bit more bravery than he had initially expectedof her. Though he had always know her to be a brave warrior, that was with the world that they were familiar with. Bravery with the unfamiliar was a whole new level. "I can't believe we are about to embark on such a journey. However, I must say I am happy that Sparrowstar decided to take action. The clan feels so.. off in a sense ever since the apprentices started to go missing." Looking to Hootshade now Eaglefrost expressed his continued thoughts. "Do you know anything about the lands past the Thunderpath? Surely others have crossed and explored the lands beyond before and lived to tell a tale."
