MadFaithRobinfeather settled by his clanmate thoughtfully. "Honestly I agree. It will be sad if we don't find them... alive or so. But at least this gives us a chance to over come the mystery of what lies with that place and possibly beyond."

Sparrowstar / Nightwing @stitchlover20 : Camp Sparrowstar received Nightwing gladly, appreciative of her respectful nod. She was sure they both were thinking similarly, that the meeting itself went well so far, now they just needed to see the patrol off as best as they could and everything on their end of camp would be under control. The rest, would be in the paws of the patrol. "They'll have travelling herbs prepared for them, and we'll save prey this evening for them to eat right before they depart." Sparrowstar mused for awhile upon Nightwing's other offer, it was a good idea to accompany them, but she trusted Badgerheart, and wanted the clan to see that she had faith in the senior warrior to guard the patrol from the very moment they left camp. "I think we'd best allow Badgerheart to take care of them from the outset. It will show the rest of the clan that we have no worries sending them off with a careful plan arranged. If you could speak with Flickerpaw, maybe she can take care of the travelling herbs so Leafheart can have one less task to tend to." Sparrowstar blinked with gratitude to the black she-cat. "I'm especially thankful for your help in this time. It's challenges like this that made me glad to have chosen you as my deputy."
The clan's trust is something to keep in mind when making plans and sending anyone off into something unknown to them all. It made complete sense why Sparrowstar wouldn't lead them off when they might be looking for any doubt the leader or deputy may have about their own plan. "I believe that would be helpful for the apprentice to do a task like this by herself to show how to prepare herbs for a traveling group of cats," she mused. She blinked in surprise by the compliment and felt her ears heat up a bit. Ever since she had been chosen to be deputy, she had work harder in making patrols and keeping things under control in the camp. Hearing this from her leader made the work and sleepless nights worth it. "It's been a pleasure working under you, Sparrowstar. Thank you again for choosing me."

Softstep || BrightClan Camp || With cowbird 's Robinfeather Softstep nodded at the tom's words, "The clan needs to know what happened." Her blue gaze fell to her paws, "I do wish I had known them better though, I guess you don't realize what you are missing until it disappears. You know? Like hearing cats tell stories about them now, just makes me wish I had gotten the chance to learn more about them when they were here."

MadFaithRobinfeather turned his head in guilt as he felt similarly. "They were apprentices- we would never really know them until they became warriors really but you are right. Maybe this is a lesson for us as a Clan too."

Softstep || BrightClan Camp || With cowbird 's Robinfeather "Just mean's I'll have to try harder to get to know everyone in the camp, eh?" The she-cat chuckled dryly, her gaze still fixated on her paws. She glanced up at the warrior sitting beside her and found herself smiling, "Guess I'll just have to start with you." Her smile broke out into a wider grin and she bumped her shoulder against him playfully, "Guess you're stuck with me now, sorry. Well at least until I get to know you better."

Still from phone soz for the lack of coding lol ]
Sleekpaw / Snowdapple & Hootshade cowbird : Elders Den
The tom was pleased with his grandfather's response. He was certain he was right, very seldom was he wrong, and he was glad to be recognised for it. "I plan on it. Whenever that day comes, of course. I'm more than ready." Sleekpaw was convinced of his ability to succeed, if only he could be named a warrior already. "What do you think Badgerheart will find?" he asked Snowdapple, with genuine curiosity for perhaps the first time since he was a kit.
Patchpaw / Darkpaw MadFaith : Camp
"I agree completely," Patchpaw purred. She was worried that she'd disturbed Darkpaw in a time when the apprentice was needing to prepare for a colossal journey, and the last thing Patchpaw wanted was to be annoying, something she was always hyper aware of. "I wish I'd reached out to them more...I've known them ever since they joined our den, but I just worry they'll think no one's coming to help them." Patchpaw wasn't sure if Darkpaw understood her fears, but the worrisome she-cat voiced them anyways.

"I bet if my leg wasn't bad I'd be leading that patrol." Alderstripes mewed mostly to himself. He missed being able to move about like the young cats could. "To be young and jumping headfirst into danger! Reminds me of the time I led a patrol against that crazed one-yed fox!" This was partly true but as usual Alderstripes loved to embellish his past experiences.

MadFaithRobinfeather purrs thundered in his chest as the she-cat playfully nudged him. "Well lets take a walk then," he rumbled, his eyes friendly as he rose to his paws and met Softstep's gaze. "And we can learn all we need to know, hmm?" StealthfireSnowdapple actually hadnt thought about what the strong warrior might find out there. She was so distracted by...other things in life she hardly wondered if the missing apprentices were even surviving out there. "Well... for sure i hope he find the apprentices," she began carefully and moved her gaze to her son. "I'm starting to think maybe your grandfather's right and he'll find creatures that we have never seen before. Like a bear." Snowdapple knew that was a mild guess- at least compared to the other horrors that may lie in the darkness but she didnt want to worry her son... and mainly herself.

Sparrowstar / Nightwing @stitchlover20 / OPEN : Camp "I'm glad you agree. I'll let you go and find Flickerpaw then. I had best spend time with the rest of the clan," Sparrowstar meowed to Nightwing, glad for the assistance. At difficult times, the leader relied on her close friendships with many of her clanmates, something she strove to maintain even when she became deputy then leader. The social she-cat's charisma was a source of much of her authority, and it was instances such as this when Sparrowstar liked best to put her clan at ease by rekindling her relationships with them. Assuming her most confident posture, she padded into the commotion of mingling clan members.
Mousepaw accepted his mentor's justification for the pair not being chosen on patrol. "You're right. Sparrowstar just can't bear to see us departed from camp for so long," he returned. He smiled back at the warrior, replying, "The squirrels will never see the end of it so long as we're here. I'll catch every last one of them before Leafbare, they won't even I'm coming!" He slunk along close to the ground in a mock hunt, paying extra careful mind that his paws didn't tumble over themselves. "We can still train, can't we?" he asked.
Sleekpaw / Snowdapple & Hootshade cowbird : Elders Den "A bear?" Sleekpaw echoed. "I think Badgerheart could manage that," he mewed simply. "I wonder if all the twolegs hide over there, that's why we only see them in their monsters and never in our forest. Have you ever had to fight a twoleg, or a monster?" he asked his mother and grandfather. Sleekpaw was always eager to hear of the very worst warriors had ever had to face, just in case he could be the one to save the clan if such a danger arrived again.

(Open) Briarkit stood in the camp, she was bored of being stuck in camp all day, if three moons could only pass faster, she wanted to be the Best warrior in the clan but she needed to grow faster. She stalked a leaf clearly bored.

Stealthfire Snowdapple frowned at the young cat’s question. He clearly didn’t realized the threat that twolegs and their monsters posed to a cat. “Sleekpaw... twolgs are quite large than us. The chances of fighting one are slim and monsters...” she shuddered thinking of all the bodies she had seen strewn across the thunderpath, bruised and broken. “You must never ever fight a monster,” she mewed sternly to the apprentice. “It is a battle even the strongest warrior won’t win.”

•¤Eaglefrost¤• Stealthfire Pulled away from his research for Rainpaw, Eaglefrost turned to the sound of his name being called. It was Badgerheart. Dissatisfactionspread across his multicolored face. Rainpaw had better have a good excuse for his absence. Taking a deep gravely breath, almost low growl, he approached the senior warrior. "Absolutely, I could think of no better way to serve my clan." With Badgerheart as the lead of the patrol the tabby and white tom felt in necessary to speak of strategy, and when the suject was instantly brought up his mood began to lighten. "Scouting shifts... hmm that wouldn't be a bad idea. However I am skeptical about splitting up the patrol untill we cross. But we should have atleast a plan and a backup plan."

Ravensong was worried about the future of the patrol. She understood why she wasn't chosen but still she felt the bitter feeling in her chest that she could do something else. “I wish i was there” she thought while eating a mouse.

After the end of the meeting, Mushroomclaw found himself quite relieved that he wouldn't be amongst the journeying cats. Adventure of that sorts didn't peak the tom's interest in the slightest. He was much more at ease sticking to the safety of the known. He was just stretching out his limbs when the familiar voice of his apprentice caught his attention. Mushroomclaw turned his head to look over at Mousepaw as the young apprentice questioned about their lack of involvement. The warrior twitched his whiskers in amusement at the young tom's overconfidence. While others may have been annoyed by it or frowned upon, Mushroomclaw found it more amusing than anything else.
"Well Mousepaw, we may be a strong pair but I'm afraid the clan needs us here more." he meowed with a thoughtful look that was quickly broken as he gave a lopsided smile. "I mean, if I leave who else is going to eat all the squirrels?" he shook his head with dramatic vigor. "It'd be a disaster! I can't let the squirrels win so we have to stay here."
Dandelionfur - Camp - w/ @stitchlover20 's Cloudpaw Dandelionfur paused as Cloudpaw asked her what she should do in the meantime. It seemed that the apprentice had accepted her position amongst the rest of the patrol, which the warrior was glad for. However, she doubted that all of Cloudpaw's fears were eased quite yet but perhaps it wasn't completely a bad thing. The warrior could only hope and try to make sure that fear Cloudpaw felt was used appropriately in a way that would make her cautious but not frozen by it. "For now, just get something to eat and rest. We'll have a long day ahead of us tomorrow so I want you to be ready for it." Dandelionfur meowed with a soft sigh.
Cloudpaw gazed at the fresh kill pile and realized how hungry she was as a rumble rose from her belly. "I'll see you tomorrow then," she mewed before hurrying to the prey. She picked up a mouse before settling down by herself near the center of camp. The she-cat wondered if she'll become close to the other apprentices during this time. She hasn't made many friends due to her shy nature and not having the courage to ask anyone to go train with her. Maybe they'll become warriors if they done a good job finding the information and bringing their clan mates back.

ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ » The deputy didn't waste anytime heading to the medicine cat den to find the apprentice and give the orders given to her by Sparrowstar. Different herb scents hit her fast when she stuck her head in and almost sneezed from the intense odor. "Flickerpaw?" She called with a more stern tone. "I need to speak with you about the cats who will be going on the mission tomorrow morning." Nightwing sat back as she waited for the young cat to come speak with her. It's been awhile since she spoke to Flickerpaw due to her busy schedule and not going near the den.

•~•Ivypaw•~• ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ » (Flickerpaw) @stitchlover20 (Nightwing) Though the clan seemed busy around her, Ivypaw was just grateful to not be apart of the cats chosen for the patrol. Though she constantly yearned for adventures, this one in particular seemed to be more than she wanted to take on. Staying my Flickerpaws side as the clan meeting ended she was surprised when her own mentor approached them. However Nightwing wasn't look her. The warrior was looking for her sister Flickerpaw. "Hi Nightwing, did you need me for anything? I'm happy to help you out in any way", she mewed, soft tone barely making its way to her mentors ears. The apprentice at times felt a slight tinge of jealousy towards her sister and how popular she was amongst the clan but for the most part Ivypaw did her best to ignored these feelings. Now she just wanted to do her part to help her clan, whatever that may be.

Falconwing [Nothing in particular yet for immediate interaction, any role is fine. Later on we'll need one more rogue to go along with Reine's for the camp plot and a kittypet for the later rescue patrol plot but for right now any clan position is lovely!:) ] Badgerheart nodded approvingly of Eaglefrost's anticipation at serving his clan. The senior warrior was more than pleased with Sparrowstar's choice of warriors, all serious, hardworking types who would be glad to make sacrifices for their clanmates. That made Badgerheart's job easier, with no nonsense to put up with from his patrol. Assuming, of course, that their apprentices behaved. However, with the stakes so high, he didn't foresee the young cats having the nerve to act out in such a dangerous place. "Excellent point. Yes, we should stay together until the thunderpath. After we cross, we'll take awhile to assess the surroundings before continuing to track and scout whatever scent is still left of the three." As for a backup plan, Badgerheart spoke lowly to his fellow warrior before continuing. "If anything comes into our path that's too threatening to manage, I need you to watch that the apprentices run and stay together. If you stay with them, I'll distract the threat." He wasn't sure what could be so dangerous that they couldn't all escape, but just in case, Badgerheart wanted to make sure that he was first in the line of fire. First in the chain of command, first in the line of danger, that was how Badgerheart structured his patrols.
Sleekpaw / Snowdapple & Hootshade cowbird : Elders Den In a rare instance, Snowdapple's strict tone affected Sleekpaw. He felt a strong need to take her warning seriously. And to be honest, all of his observations of monsters supported her warning. They moved faster than the falling brook, and had never stopped for anything in their way. Twolegs, on the other hand, Sleekpaw had never seen walking. "Whatever the danger, I'm sure they'll be fine. Besides, Icepaw, Shallowpaw and Honeypaw might just not want to be found if they've gone that far away from us."

Mushroomclaw smiled, glad to see that Mousepaw didn't seem disappointed about not being able to be on the patrol. It was much safer to stay at camp and the thought of exploring the unknown with the apprentice wasn't an appealing thought to the warrior. While he believed his apprentice was capable, he didn't want to chance his safety in any way. There had been far too many go missing. "I'm sure you will." he chuckled as his apprentice joined in on his joking words. As Mousepaw went onto question about training, the bushy tom nodded his head in confirmation. "Of course. Just because you're not on a fancy patrol doesn't mean you don't have any duties around here." he smirked. Mushroomclaw made a mental not to himself to take his apprentice out for battle training. With all that was going on, he wanted Mousepaw to be as prepared as possible if he needed to fight.
Dandelionfur nodded her head as Cloudpaw parted from her. Her gaze followed her young apprentice for a moment before she glanced around the camp. Off to the side, she spotted Badgerheart and Eaglefrost speaking together with Hootshade. Assuming they were going over plans for the patrol, she rose to her paws and padded over to join the other two warriors. She dipped her head to them in greeting and tentatively moved to sit down, hoping her presence amongst them was a welcomed one. "Hello," she meowed. "I hope we have a good plan in the works for what's to come." She sighed softly. Despite her worries, she was put at some ease knowing the trusted warriors that would be alongside her when the traveled into the unknown. With Badgerheart's leadership and their combined strengths, Dandelionfur was rather certain they could be quite the effective patrol.
