In another language, Onestar is called Solitairestar, which makes sense, because Solitaire means alone, One means alone...but still, why does he get to be named after a cool card game? Solitaire isn't as cool of a game as Freecell is though, but it's still up there. What other warrior names in other languages do you know of? Do you like them more or less than the original?

I honestly don't remember, I just remember seeing it, when I figure it out, I'll tell you, unless someone does first Maybe I'm mistaken, but I could have sworn I saw Onestar translated to Solitairestar before, I just don't remember where

Isn't freecell a type of solitaire? I thought solitaire was any card game that's played alone.

That’s really funny! To make it work better with natural things, solitaire is also a type of bird.

I love some of the Chinese and Russian translations, but there's a story behind my favorite:
My youngest cat, a black tom with a white dash on his chest, is named Ravenpaw. My husband refuses to call him this, preferring to call him Tony Pepperoni, with a nickname of Poot (he was a very gassy little kitten). I was installing magnet latches on the bottoms of my bookshelf doors to keep said cat out of my collection (he had recently started shredding the toilet paper, I didn't want him to move on to my books), and of course, I kept getting distracted and flipping through some of my books. When looking at the allegiances in the front of my Dutch version of Into the Wild, I realized that his name in the book was "Ravenpoot".
