What was the point of listing those false facts? Doesn't really relate to the question... False facts? They are 100% true facts! As true as the fact that Bluestar chased Thistleclaw out of StarClan, or that Ashfur is the mother of Dovewing and Ivypool. It's so everyone can learn more about this gentle beloved cat Mudclaw. |

I thought he was brash, battle-hungry, unpleasant and generally a pain in the neck/annoying distraction when he was on-screen (page?). People say he would've been a better leader than Onestar, but honestly, he really wouldn't be lol. He is far too aggressive to have been good for WindClan long-term.

He was an a-hole, but I doubt he would have been worse than Onestar, or even the same level as him on terms of how terrible he was. Plus, all the times Mudclaw was unpleasant, he had pretty good reasons to be. But you're right that he might not have been a good leader, however, I still wish he would have had a chance to prove himself, instead of Tallstar being all like, "Oh I had a dream, just like the dream I had in Tallstar's Revenge, that turned to totally be fake, but this one is obviously real, so you can't be leader anymore, sorry not sorry." I'm sorry, but that part of Tallstar's Revenge, and connecting it to his dream about Mudclaw just irks me, because didn't he learn? That sometimes dreams are just dreams. Then again, the dream might have been legit, but I still don't think Mudclaw would have been as bad as Onestar. |

One thing confuses me about Mudclaw... He has always been this, tell you how it is, what you see is what you get kind of guy. So, how did he end up sneaking around with Hawkfrost? How did he even get the idea to go up to Hawkfrost, and be like, "Hey, if you help me become leader of WindClan, I'll make you my deputy, for some reason, even though you're in RiverClan, and uh, then you can become leader of RiverClan." Or whatever that was about. Anyway, he's never really cared about any other clans except WindClan before, so why would he go chatting up this random RiverClan cat? Maybe there's more to him than meets the eye. |

Fact: Mudclaw is the one possessing Bramblestar. I actually would not mind that, he'd have a stronger reason to hate ThunderClan and code-breakers than Ashfur does. However, I wouldn't like the idea of him being a murderer. |

Honestly, I think this had more to do with him feeling like WindClan was threatened, rather than being ticked off that his position was handed to someone else. Like, he didn't see/hear for himself that Tallstar granted Onewhisker leadership, it just came from the mouths of the ThunderClan leader, the guy vying to be deputy, who is also the son of Tigerstar, and Onewhsiker, the Firestar's WindClan best friend. Mudclaw probably feared that Onewhisker would just hand over WindClan to ThunderClan, and allow them to control it or whatever.

Someone on BlogClan thinks that the imposter is Mudclaw and refuses to change their stance...
I dont mean to be rude, but how...in what world...in what way, can the imposter possibly be Mudclaw, a WindClan cat who, yes, has a small quarrel with Bramblestar but main enemy is Onestar. We see him genuinely care about saving the Clans in OOTS against the Dark Forest. He doesn't know shit about Squirrelflight, has no reason to be unusally obsessed with her...and yeah, hes a noble cat despite his arrogance. Can't at all blame him for his actions against Onestar, it would suck to randomly get the title of deputy stripped by the word of 3 cats, 2 of which arent even from his Clans, out of nowhere. He would never harm the Clans. He thought he was following the code, as I am sure Kate or someone said it or was in a Field guide. Besides, none of the clues we are given have anything at all to do with him. I dont get it...

Spinestar I love your post I could see him having a motive against code-breakers, because his leadership getting taken away, was kind of breaking the code, or at least, Tallstar didn't use the right process, or something. Also, he could have been angry with everyone who took Onewhisker's side, Crowfeather and Squirrelflight are included. I really hope he's not the impostor though, I don't want him to be ruined. Do you have the link to the BlogClan thing?
