(I don't think I need to say that there's spoilers. This book's been around since 2015.)
To be honest, I think this is going to end up being my new third favorite super edition.
I really loved Moth Flight and Micah together. They were so cute! (: But of course Clear Sky had to swoop in and ruin it. A lot of people have said that he reverted back to his jerkish self, and I think that's true. There was hardly any trace of who he was in the last three DOTC books. He kept on caring about stupid borders and claimed no one can boss him around. And he was responsible for Micah's death along with Willow Tail and Red Claw. He must be a curse on the clans. (jk)
I still think it's silly that medicine cats can't have kits just because Moth Flight couldn't care for her kits and clan at the same time. If anything, this could have been a lesson for her or something instead of burdening other medicine cats with something that would be broken anyway.

I think the reason Clear Sky was being such a jerk, was because Gray Wing had died not too long before, and he doesn't seem to handle grief all that well. However, him grieving doesn't give him an excuse for what he did though.
I also think the medicine cat rule was silly and unfair to other medicine cats. Moth Flight is a COMPLETELY different case, everyone's pretty much going to be a different case. I mean, in current ThunderClan, there are two trained medicine cats, a couple of back up medicine cats, and a permanent queen, there's no way it couldn't work out, if Jayfeather or Alderheart wanted to have kits.

That's true, but I'm not sure he was grieving for Gray Wing at the time.
Exactly. Even if ThunderClan had a she-cat medicine cat, she wouldn't have to stay in the nursery after the kits are weaned. There's plenty of cats to watch them, too. If warriors can have kits with no problem, then it shouldn't be a problem for medicine cats as long as there's another to take care of the clan for the time being.

Too bad that rule will probably never be overturned

I thought it was just alright, though I really wish it was more consistent to the other books. About Skystar though, the reason he's inconsistent has more to do with the book itself having been written around the time TFB was published if I recall correctly. Kate was definitely writing it long before PoS came out, so that's why his personality is like that.
For an in-universe reason though, I just thought it had to do with grief for Gray Wing as well as him worrying over Tiny Branch. We've seen how bad he is when it comes to managing his emotions, so this doesn't really surprise me.

๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ท๐พ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ต I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There's so many mistakes in this series, it's crazy. Chicken I'll be a bit annoyed if TBC ends and it's still there.

*Ravenpaw*Yeah, there's a few other things in the code that they should alter, especially the, "The leader's word is the warrior code" one That one doesn't even make sense...it basically says that the leader's word can negate ANYTHING in the Warrior Code, so the rest of it doesn't really matter.

Chicken It could be changed at least a little bit, such as the leader's word is law unless it goes against the warrior code.
