I was thinking along the lines of that this week. Like almost every cat with an abnormality of burdened with a power had to become a medicine cat and it really wasnt fair. Goosefeather and Jay probably would not have been made good warriors tbh but Goose was really burdened with a future-seeing power and there was nothing he could do to stop it. Like when he was blamed for Moonflower's death it must have hurt on so many levels. And Yellowfang, she was so promising- could have been an great warrior and an asset and mother to plenty of healthy cats like she wanted and maybe had a great love life with Raggedstar. But StarClan decided differently. Agreed! StarClan sucks. Like...why can't they just be straight up? When they send an omen, cats wind up dead. Like, with Ravenwing...they didn't have to send him that omen, putting the pressure on a young medicine cat, making him decide between Mapleshade and her kits, and doing right by Oakstar and the rest of ThunderClan, but they did. They should have just kept quiet, or been more clear about their intentions, they shouldn't have expected Ravenwing to read minds, or be able to see the future. Same with Goosefeather, and the omen that got Moonflower killed, Stonepelt sent to the elder's den, and other casualties that happened. Or you know, not send give powers to innocent cats with no connection to anything. Mapleshade's story is a glaring spot of why StarClan really sucks. No need for her to suffer like this.

Agreed, what happened with Mapleshade caused a chain reaction that affected GENERATIONS I also agree about not giving powers to cats...not only is it unfair to them, but it's also unfair to the cats that don't get powers, why are they left out? I love how a thread about Dustpelt and Ferncloud's kits turned into how much StarClan sucks lol

You’re making me choose between Icecloud and Foxleap!?! I’m going to have to vote for Ice just because she has way less than Fox though.

She really set a path of destruction for the Clans and that could have been avoided. I honestly feel for her so much as evil as she was.

I feel really bad for almost everyone involved in that book, but I won't go into it, I don't want to start a heated debate with anyone over it. Anyway, back to Ferncloud and Dustpelt's kits... remember that scene where Foxleap was trying to trick the other cats into eating rabbit pellets by telling them that they were berries? lol

I didn't vote in the poll, since I can't decide between Foxleap or Icecloud.

I didn't vote in the poll, since I can't decide between Foxleap or Icecloud. They really are the two best kits XD If I ranked them in numerical order, Icecloud would be like a 9.7 and Foxleap would be like a 9.6, so super close

I went for Birchfall mostly because it's been so long since I read the books and he is one I remember most haha. I remember Spiderleg but he was pretty rude to Daisy. Birchfall was a good father to Dove and Ivy, and he was a good mate to Whitewing too.

I agree about Birchfall He was actually in my top 5 favorite character list before Omen of the Stars, I still really like him, but not as much as I did in the New Prophecy and The Power of Three Spiderleg x Daisy is a couple I will NEVER understand...when she first joined, he was one of the cats most outspoken about ThunderClan not allowing her to be there
