Anyone got any ideas for RiverClan's revival so it can finally return to the spotlight? I personally hope we get a fresh new face, or maybe one of Stormfur's kits join RiverClan in Graystripe's SE? Who knows. I kinda just wish RiverClan had more attention nowadays. Like what major and minor changes would you make, what about the plot antagonist or disaster that would involve RiverClan and what kind of main character POV would you have liked to see?

That would be really cool if one of Stormfur's kits joined the clans. I think it'd be interesting, if Mistystar, Reedwhisker, Mothwing, and Willowshine all died at the same time, like in a battle or something. That would bring RiverClan to the spotlight, because they would have to figure out who would lead them, AND who would be the next medicine cat. As for whose POV it would be in, I have no idea

Honestly I want the MousexMinnow theory to be shown as explicitly canon.

Mistystar and her deputy die some way, maybe a battle
Perhaps have 3 cats who alternate as possible leaders and such we get each POV (so like they switch out as the book changes so)
Main character 1 main character 2 river clan cat 1
Main character 1 main character 2 riverclan cat 2
so on and so forth

I wouldn’t mind something about a medicine cat or new deputy of Riverclan, maybe building a background character up to become a really important part of the plot. I personally have no problem with Reedstar, and wouldn’t mind a Reedwhisker focused book. This being said, I also would be fine with a brand new Riverclan leadership if it meant they just get some damn screen time.

maybe an illness takes both mistystar and reedwhisker in the same night, leaving the clan devastated. with no one to properly appoint a deputy, willowshine waits for a sign, and starclan sends her a message: they've chosen a new leader for riverclan. to their surprise, the warrior in question is very young and rather inexperienced, fresh out of their apprenticeship. the young warrior turned leader has to grapple with the sudden responsibility of leadership, and maybe a lot goes wrong at first just to add in some more conflict. i miss having a leader pov, and i definitely want someone young as riverclan's next leader.
with all the starclan drama lately, maybe some cats would begin to question their ancestors in their choice to appoint a cat as leader who has never even mentored an apprentice of their own. also, maybe they could throw in an apprentice for willowshine who ends up becoming a villain as the arc progresses. i've been dying for a medicine cat villain, and having them in riverclan would be a plus.
i don't know. i've seen a similar plot being brought up for bristlefrost - a young cat who is suddenly forced into the weight of leadership. it sounds fantastic, but i don't know if the editors would ever consider giving us a thunderclan leader who was born after POT at this point.

I want a RiverClan super edition featuring whoever the next leader will be. Reedwhisker, maybe, but he's so old that at this point, I'd rather it be a different character. Preferably a she-cat, to keep the male-to-female ratio balanced (Leafstar's going to kick the bucket soon, which makes Hawkwing leader, and if Reedwhisker assumes the position after Mistystar ... that's five male leaders. No thank you.)
I think a super edition about one of Stonefur's kits joining the Clans would be AWESOME! I'd like it to be Lark That Sings at Dawn ... because the name is just so beautiful. And Larkstar or Dawnstar is also an epic name. :-P )

Anyone at this point. Basically every RiverClan cat is a nobody.
That being said, I'd love to see an Icestar sometime soon. Or Minnowstar. Literally anybody besides Cardboard Boi (Reedwhisker).

I think it would be cool to just take a random cat who doesn't have a very established personality in a Clan with no well-established cats and focus on writing a good story. Tallstar's revenge worked so well because the only well-known cats were Tallstar and Barkface (and even they didn't have well-defined personalities), so they had the freedom to make up the characters they need to suit the plots and themes.
Also, it would be better if the conflict is either entirely internal or an outside threat, especially if it takes place in the modern clans. I don't want the book to contrive a reason for the clans to fight each other.
It might be cool to delve into RiverClan's culture as well. RiverClan has been said to enjoy decorating things with feathers, so maybe cats can bond through that. Maybe there could be a cat that doesn't like water and has an identity crises surrounding that.

This. ^ It was done well with Hawkwing's Journey, they can do it again.
