Dumbest to Smartest Heroes

Ok I will actually make my list now. There are many ways to measure intelligence. and there is rather stiff competition because I don't consider most of our heroines to be smart. They are often not in situations where they can display their intelligence. I will divide intelligence into critical thinking and moral compass. I'm also going to attempt to keep this short.

First there is critical thinking. Now there is two parts to critical thinking, there is actually using some form of logic and getting the right answer. The only character on the list that I would say succeeds at both criteria is Jayfeather. Gray Wing seems to pass this as well and maybe Alderpaw and Thunder but they aren't being included and I'm behind on the books. Firestar is good at critical thinking but he is incredibly slow at it. Hollyleaf uses critical thinking a lot but she seldom ever reaches a conclusion or correct conclusion making her fail criteria number two. Bramblestar and Squirrelflight aren't neccisarily bad at critical thinking, but their inability to listen hinders their abilities. Lionblaze, Leafpool, Ivypool, and Dovewing are straight up terrible at it.

Moral compass is different. I would define it as a characters ability to make decisions with maximum benefit based on their ethics. Hollyleaf ranks low on this chart with her overly conservative principles eventually causing her to do horrible things. Firestar to me ranks the highest because with the exception of whitethroat and Littlecloud, Firestar managed to make good decisions based on his moral compass. As did Jayfeather. Bramblestar had a decent moral compass but it was muddled by poor logic. some with lionblaze, squirrelflight, and leafpool. Ivypool and Dovewing had very poor moral compasses.
