"Hey, look on the bright side." John stated, still looking at the map. "If you die, I'll die first." He rolled up the map and matched pace with Percival. He took a peek at his inventory while he was walking. "I've got seven healing potions, a dozen lesser healing potions and a regeneration potion. As long as it isn't harder than that gargoyle in Winterhaven, I should be fine."

(Alright, I'm back for the most part! Sorry about that!)
Percival snorted. "Yeah, I suppose." But he nodded a few times. Things would be alright, he assured himself silently. It at least seemed like a prospect he could live with. "Lead on," he murmured. The trek, while Percival was used to walking, still seemed tedious. But it was at least, as John seemed to like saying so much, less tedious than some other journey than they'd gone through before. Percival didn't complain. He didn't need to. He just stayed focused. Coming out of a copse of trees and out onto a dirt path, Percival paused. "Are we following this?" he asked John. Seemed a bit ... convenient.

stopped as he once again pulled up the map. "Looks like we should." He concluded. "The bear cave is a marked location, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a road to it." He looked back at the map. "If we follow this, there should be a river. The cave should be near where the river splits." He pocketed the map and continued on. "We shouldn't have much to worry about. We're in a low level area. Shouldn't be too much around that'll cause any trouble."

"I feel like this is something we're going to regret," Percival said cynically. But he nodded a couple of times and followed the instructions. He'd liked to be proven wrong. Sure, it was a low level area, but he was feeling jittery. He wasn't sure why, but he got the feeling something was off. There was a river and it came all too soon. Percival stared down at the water and frowned, then glanced in the direction it was moving. "Need to watch out for water sprites," he muttered, mostly to himself. They were a bit higher level than usual, but he felt like keeping a certain someone aware was a better idea.
