Rosemarie “Rosie” Estelle Fitzherbert daughter of Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert
Rosie's free hand covered her mouth, immediately sort of guilty. Sure, she had friends over there, but it hadn't dawned on her that Kagi had family over there, too. Especially someone as sweet-natured as Komboa, it was a little worrisome that he was in a place where he could get hurt or taken advantage of. It was kind of insensitive, her reminding him of that.
"Y-you're right, they should be able to protect each other over there. Beast wouldn't send them over there if they were in harm's way." The blonde's voice firmed up a little towards the end of her answer, like she was trying to reassure herself of that. Beast wouldn't let a boatload of kids get hurt. He was trying to help, even now. Sure, he'd made a horrific mistake, letting the kids on the Isle be exposed to such a horrible lifestyle, but he was trying to make it right. And he wouldn't let their own people get hurt.
Rosie took a deep breath, trying to calm both herself and Kagi down. "...and besides, they won't hurt the transfers if they're trying to help them. No one is going to hurt someone trying to help them, not on purpose."

KAGISO “KAGI” ADEBAYO son of kiara and kovu
"Whoa whoa whoa, it's okay." She was covering her mouth in horror, stars above. He was fine. Well, not fine but he wasn't about to call Rosie out for caring about her friends. Komboa had people there, people that Kagi trusted to keep him safe. He wasn't about to start panicking that his cousin was going to die. There had been a solid reason that he pushed Komboa to go. The kid needed to grow on his own without any of their family getting in the way. "Koomba will be fine."
But, then Rosie said something a little concerning. He didn't usually like to talk about politics, but they were both the heirs to their respective kingdoms. Kagi didn't often talk about it. His whole goal was to make something of himself before going back to the Pridelands. He needed to prove he was worthy of being King. No part of him wanted to be given something without knowing what life really held. That's why he was in Auradon, working and supporting himself without the help of his parents. "But, do you actually believe Beast wouldn't do that?" Beast was awful. Beast sentenced children back to the Isle. Beast would totally do something like that, he was the literal worst. Kagi only had some semblance of hope that Alexander would fix everything when he became King.
Kagi didn't want to keep having this conversation. He couldn't pretend to know who the children of the Isle were. He didn't know their life, how they were raised, what kind of trash they had to deal with all the time. Between the two of them, they were privileged and had no way of knowing how those kids would react to a bunch of spoiled princes and princesses. Plus, who even knew if those kids were actually sent to help them. Once again: Beast was awful. He doubted any of the kids who went were trying to hurt the Isle children, but that didn't mean that Beast didn't plan something horrible. Instead of responding to Rosie, he just opened his car door, "I'm not super worried about any of them."

Rosie thought on that for a moment. Did she believe Beast didn't intend harm? It was a sort of complicated answer, because she wasn't sure what to think of their king. Alicio had always implied he was sort of unpleasant to be around, to put it lightly, and some of his laws hurt a lot of people. Did that make him a bad person? Sort of, but part of her believed that he had the best of intentions, it just kept coming across the wrong way. She didn't want to believe that the people of Auradon had put forward a tyrant, despite being founded from usurping tyrants themselves.
"I believe the people won't let him hurt anyone." She responded instead, sounding a little more sure about that opinion. The royalty of Auradon pushed for the transfers to go to the Isle to help. Her parents, Kagi's parents, her friends and family. She trusted them implicitly, even if Beast's motives were a little murkier.
She followed her boyfriend out of the car, and tried putting a happier smile on her face. "Maybe we can make something, though, or grow something, to welcome the Isle kids here and welcome the transfers back?" The Coronian princess took his hand again, willing to put the actual political discussion behind them.
She was a princess, the crown princess, for that matter. So she knew she couldn't escape politics and international crises like the Isle kids. While her parents were sort of handling it now, Rosie wasn't an idiot. As soon as her mom and dad were retired, it would be her responsibility, and she took it seriously.
She just also didn't want the subject of Beast to sour their beach day.

KAGISO “KAGI” ADEBAYO son of kiara and kovu
The young man hummed noncommittally, deciding it was best if he left this all alone. He didn't want to have a fight with Rosie about something that would only be important if it actually came to pass. There was no reason to be negative so long as any of his fears didn't actually happen. It was easy, to just let things go instead of let them hurt his relationship with her. They might disagree now, but whoever got proven right in the future would be smug if they actually fought about it now. Kagi didn't want that.
So, he just flashed her a small smile when she grabbed his hand, "Yeah, that'd be nice." There was no way he would give the Isle kids anything, if they did end up crossing over eventually, until he talked to Komboa. His cousin's experience there would be the determining factor in what his family would do. He wasn't going to extend anything to them if they hurt Komboa. Kagi felt himself tense at the thought alone, and had to count down in his thoughts until he calmed down. There was no reason to get so intense about something that hasn't even happened yet. He shouldn't be judging these kids on the possibility of Komboa being hurt. The poor kid could hurt himself just by walking, and a lot worse could happen on an island that had poor upkeep due to lazy monarchs who didn't care about anyone except themselves.
"Anyways," Kagi shook himself away from the negative thoughts, "We're here!" The lion waved out his hand, as if the beach wasn't clearly in front of them. It was dumb and cute, which is really what he aspired to be at all times. Until he had to be a serious leader, he would leave that role up to his parents. They had done a great job so far, and he had absolutely no complaints. Before he got to that level, he had to experience life himself and make his own opinions. That wasn't going to happen if he stayed home and let them train him for everything. It was pretty nice to be a person outside of Heir to the Pridelands. He was his own person, with his own life, that didn't revolve around the Pride. "It's shell time."

Bellonso Stormwyn Sour-Dough
son of sour bill, wynnchel, and duncan Well, that certainly startled Bellonso for a moment. The compliment over his name. He hadn't really expected this person to say that, not when Bellonso would have been more used to it being brushed off or have some fun poked at the weirdly doughy name. Then Sang started moving again and Bellonso let out a short little laugh, a grin going on his face, away from the startled look of confusion previously on it. He called out a quick, "Coming!" before following Sang with a grin. Well, if hadn't already been decided, Bellonso deemed Sang to be an incredible guy. And now he was even more determined to help him out with his filming and skateboard tricks.

Matthias Aksel Alexsen
son of melody and alex Well. Matthias knew exactly which idea sounded the most fun for the first day of school. Honestly, Emilia was a genius when it came to these things and she had such great ideas- all of them were great. But, for starting off the school year? Well, Matthias had already decided that he liked the sound of one of the options, so adding in his own was pointless. Now, the museum idea sounded like tons of fun because there was always a bunch of weird things in there that had very vague description to go with it. But, for starting off the school year? They had to go big. "Oh we can totally raid the art club room!" Matthias said excitedly. There shouldn't be anyone in the club room anyways because there wasn't that many clubs that were actually functioning yet today, so it was free to sneak into and make a very happy welcome mess with. He bet they could get away with whatever happened.

He was right, now wasn't a good time to bicker over the matter. For all they knew, the Isle kids were sweet and friendly underneath all of their bad upbringing. And they'd only find out when they met them, so they could very well be horrible, too. Rosie didn't like to believe anyone could really be irredeemable, either.
But it was hard to deny that there was an entire island full of angry adults that were classified as exactly that.
But, she could also argue that there were people on the Isle that most definitely didn't deserve to be there. Tana and Tia, of course -- as bad as biting people and breaking and entering were, they were just kids, they should have gotten off lighter. And then Varian and Cassandra.
Her parents had tried to stop Beast from imprisoning them, but not much could particularly be done after he did it, and while Rosie had a high opinion of some of his children -- Bre and Alicio were sweet people that she cared a lot about -- the entire kingdom of Corona had never been quite as warm and welcoming to outsiders ever since.
But that was a topic for another day.
"Bet that I get more than you!" She teased, elbowing her boyfriend lightly. There wouldn't be a prize at the end, apart from buckets full of beautiful, unique shells, but it would still be a fun way to pass the time. Walking along the beach together, racing each other to pick up shells, it seemed like a perfect day here.

Sarabeth Andralynn Brown Daughter of Scamp and Angel
Sara was still slightly upset that she hadn't managed to grab the role of president, but she would never take that out on Aisha. The girl clearly had something that she lacked and Sara was mature enough to accept a graceful defeat and be happy that she still got to make a difference. She took a seat and glanced over. "Before we begin, though, I do have a request. I think we should do something nice. Something to keep everyone's spirits up. I dunno. A dance, a talent show. Just something for the students."
While Sara personally didn't have any family on the Isle, she knew Komboa was there. And Komboa was Kandoro's cousin. She was worried about him because he was such a sweet boy, but she also worried about him because she worried about Kandoro. She didn't want to immediately turn her back on the Isle kids. That wasn't right. They deserved a second chance and shouldn't have to be punished because of their parents. But still, the idea of sending Komboa over there wasn't something Sara liked. She would just have to be there for Kandoro if he needed it, and believe in Komboa and his ability to survive over there.
"I can even take the whole project on myself. I have nothing to do and don't wanna add another thing to the student governments plate," she said. In fact, she'd do better to take care of it herself. It was a big job, but otherwise she would be sitting around and worrying about Komboa.
Khuno perked up. "I agree that Sara can take on all the work, but I would like to say that I would make a pretty dashing announcer for whatever we did." After all, what kind of announcer didn't have a natural charisma and a good sense of humor?
"Or you and I can discuss it after the meeting if you don't wanna commit to okaying my project right away. Yeah, that's probably a better idea," Sara said to Aisha, carefully ignoring Khuno. He was harmless, she knew, even if he was a bit annoying.

Aubrey Brielle Bête Daughter of Beast and Belle
Bre's oldest brother was next in line to be king, but he was also a terrible, horrible, disgustingly bad pizza topping chooser. Sometimes the thought of him running the country scared her. If he tried to make everyone eat onions and peppers and mushrooms, she would lead the rebellion against her brother.
"Disgusting," she muttered once more. At least Celine had her back on the onions. Bre put the order in online and sent it before leaning back in her chair. "So I did bring a movie for us to watch, but we could also play a board game, or gossip." She really didn't have a preference what they did. "Or we could have a little fun while we have Alexander here and do his hair and makeup," she teased. She knew he had to keep up appearances, so they could always clean him up before he left, but she had to throw in an option to tease her brother.
"Or do science experiments. Science is fun," she said. Wow, she was really bad when it came to just listing things off without actually doing anything to move forwards with an idea. "One of you better choose something before I start coming up with ridiculous ideas."

KAGISO “KAGI” ADEBAYO son of kiara and kovu
Kagi cleared his mind of anything except for Rosie and shells. This was going to be a great date, even if he hadn't fully planned it out before the start. That's how his life usually went, though. Playing things by ear, being flexible and trying to live a positive life was his main path. Kagi really didn't stray from his own line of thinking. He was old enough to have a set way of doing things, even if it wasn't a defined list of steps to take. That would make life pretty boring, after all. Knowing everything that would happen every single day seemed like it would be easy to burn out from. Kagi didn't want that.
"Rosie, do you even remember all the shells you need?" Kagi asked as he pulled out his phone, looking at the picture again for reference. He would probably end up doing that a lot, given that he didn't have the design in his head like his girlfriend did. With that thought, Kagi realized that she might not actually need the reference photo. After all, she was the one who thought the concept up. It's not unlikely that she would have it fairly memorized, with it being from her own imagination after all. He had his work cut out for him, if she was going to make it into an actual bet. All in all, he wanted her to take it easy on him if she actually wanted something at the end of all of this. There was no way he would win her little bet.
The lion walked out further onto the beach, not nearly as excited as the blonde. Honestly, he was just having fun watching Rosie. Her energy was infectious. He was glad everything was working out so well. She seemed like she needed this, and it would be a great way to spend her last day of freedom without classes. Summer wasn't the same, since neither of them were around much, during the off season. He was forced to go back to the Pridelands during that time, and only snuck away a handful of times. It didn't help that his attitude was usually bad at times like that, when he had to rebel against family tasks to go do whatever he wanted. Vizazi generally teased him about it as well, which made everything worse. Kagi made his way to Rosie's side and in a quiet, happy voice said, "I missed this."

"I think I have it up here." Rosie tapped her head with her free hand, smiling back cheerfully. "I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's ready and real." She was especially excited for that part, seeing the final product. And if they got enough shells and it turned out well, she might even be able to make one for Kagi. They didn't have any sea shells in the Pridelands, so it'd be something special that he could have just for him.
Aww, he missed this too. Rosie didn't know what he was thinking, but she had a pretty good idea. It was tough, seeing each other during the summer. He had to help run the Pridelands and attend to his duties, and she was needed back home in Corona to do the same. That was non-negotiable. He was the prince of Pride Rock, and she was the princess of Corona, and that was their jobs.
But Rosie missed getting to be a normal, regular teenager with him. She didn't mind royal duties, in fact she loved them, getting to help her people. Her parents still had most of the harder duties, but every year they were giving her more and more accountability. School was a time where she didn't have to focus on being royalty, just a student. "I missed this too," Rosie leaned into him slightly. Not enough to really impede their walking, but just to be close to him. "So tell me, you've seen my shell crown, what've you been up to lately?" Obviously, they texted to keep up with one another, when they couldn't see each other. But it was still nice to catch up, face to face and person to person.

KAGISO “KAGI” ADEBAYO son of kiara and kovu
He had to smile at her response, seeing as he was right to backtrack on his thought process. Once again: she had designed the thing, of course she would have it in her head. He wasn't sure how she'd get all the colors correctly, still figuring that they'd end up at a crafts store after the beach day to get more supplies. That is, if she didn't already have paints and the like. Kagi wondered if shells could take normal paint, or if there was some kind of special shell paint. There was wall paint, and fabric paint, and all sorts of different types of paint for just regular painting. It wasn't completely out of the realm of possibility. "Of course you do. I shouldn't even have questioned it."
Kagi had meant to comment on that, but he got a little distracted. He tended to get distracted easily, if he didn't know that already he would've been blind. He had literally started off thinking about Rosie and ended up listing different kinds of paints. At least her words had gotten his thought process back on track. His summer had been trash, with his lack of independence given during that time. She was lucky, in that sense, to know her place without needing more. Kagi wished that he could settle and be fine watching over his people, but he wanted to earn that. His parents throwing him at the inhabitants of their lands would do nothing but cause problems. Not that he was complaining about family time, since he had missed them.
"I got back here a few weeks ago," He had wanted to be in Auradon before Komboa left, to see the young man off, and get away from his family. Just because he missed them didn't mean he wanted to be around them for three months straight. "I've really just been helping out at the shop, and then traveling when I had the day off." He had been visiting other kingdoms, a goal he'd had for awhile. The main reason was to see how the others governed their lands within the rule of Auradon's King and Queen. Even as the King of the Pridelands, he would still bow to whoever was in the Auradon throne. It kind of felt like there would always be restrictions, no matter how hard he fought against them. "It's been pretty quiet here, until all you teenagers came back." Considering he was still a teenager, that was a rather stupid thing to think was funny to tease Rosie about.

The blonde rolled her eyes at his last comment. Teenagers? He was still a teenager. Graduation hadn't changed that, and he was still the dorky lion he had been the year before. But she played along with it, laughing a little as she challenged, "What, did we mess up your peace and quiet, old man?" Auradon City could get much rowdier than it was on the off-season, she had to admit. When everyone was home for the summer, it was still busy, but there was a marked difference. Auradon City, when it wasn't filled with a couple hundred high schoolers, was busy in a more direct way. It wasn't loitering teenagers goofing around, it was adults with very official business that didn't have time to goof off. She'd been here before -- tagging along with her parents -- over the summer. Specifically, to discuss the transfers and the plans they intended to take to ensure the mission's success. Yeah, during school breaks, the city was quietly busy. "I just got back yesterday. Mom and Dad needed my help with some stuff up until the last minute" While the country was hardly expected to be handed to a seventeen year old, Rapunzel and Eugene had definitely upped her duties this last summer. Now that she was graduating this year, she could start taking on more roles and duties in the castle,
"Speaking of traveling, though, would you like to come back to Corona on spring break, for a visit?" She questioned, since this was a lot more pleasant of a topic than the transfers and Beast's intentions. "Maybe this time you can actually grab that gopher." She teased, stooping over for a minute to pick up a shell. The gopher grab was one of Rosie's favorite holidays, and while she wasn't particularly athletic, it was still a lot of fun to see everyone cut loose and look silly trying to catch one.
Maybe, if the transfers managed to come back with the Isle kids, she could meet kids that she should have grown up knowing? She had no idea if Cass or Varian had children, obviously, but if they did, then she had a lot of lost time to make up for. Maybe they would like to come to the gopher grab too?

Coco Lovelyn Lilybeth Potts
daughter of chip potts & lulu Well, Cocoa had to say this was going oh so interesting thus far. After all, who didn’t love the quiet, boring conversations and the lack of any personality coming from anyone. Cocoa was banking on something interesting happening throughout the meeting, elsewise she was going to be absolutely bored out of her mind. There was a reason she hadn’t even thought to go for one of those extremely high class, pretty roles of student council. Well, the absolutely mind-boggling boredom of them and the absolute impossibleness that was trying to get into one of those spots. Plus, Cocoa was good at being spirited! Go Auradon Prep! Blegh. Either way. Cocoa was half-listening at the moment and it was really only when Sara said the key word ‘spirit’ that Cocoa decided to pay the slightest bit of attention. Cocoa leaned towards the table a little more with a grin. Was she offended that Sara hadn’t even glanced at the person that was supposed to be the event party planner partner? Oh, absolutely. Cocoa wanted to scoff at the idea of it. Sara? Take on the whole project herself if the overall group decided that wasn’t going to be needed? Well, Cocoa was fairly certain she did scoff aloud at the thought. Now, it wasn’t that she had zero faith in the girl. But Cocoa had zero faith in the girl. After all, there had to be a reason why Sara got stuck with Public Relations when she had been aiming for President. Jabs aside, Cocoa was still certainly offended by the audacity. But it didn’t mean she couldn’t sweetle add in her opinions! “It’s cute you think a talent show would come in this early in the year, but a dance might be… what’s the word…. endearing,” Cocoa offered mockingly. “Personally, I’d say we’d be better off with a competitive rally to start the year off.”Cocoa paused for a moment, as though in thought, wonderful, innocent thought, before tilting her head in a harmless way and granting Sara an oh-so happy smile as she said, “Honestly, sometimes you’d think we might need a person on this council to provide the school spirit ideas.” She took a minute to pause before giving a false sense of surprise on her face as she continued, “Oh wait! That’s me!” Her happy little smile turned to a grimace immediately, just in case the girl was as dense as she seemed. Leaning back in her seat, comfortable with the level of spice she got to add into the conversation already (and wow, look at the time, they’d hardly started!), she tilted her head a little at Khuno. “Try again some other time, rep.” Seriously. Would people back off on her turf? Like, hello? Commissioner of Spirit sitting right there? Person whose job is to literally set up and plan spirit activities? Honestly! Cocoa only had to talk to Sara about that stuff to get it approved by faculty. She at least supposed she could wrinkle her nose and consider another announcer at things. And he was decently amusing. Ugh, as long as Aisha didn’t disagree with any of that. Or go all ‘I’m the boss of you all so try to be professional, stop biting words at one another.’ Cocoa wasn’t about to disagree with Aisha, the woman held power and Cocoa admired that, but it didn’t mean she’d be very happy with it. Oh well! At least it had introduced something interesting before all the actual bs started.

KAGISO “KAGI” ADEBAYO son of kiara and kovu
"You did, actually!" Kagi grinned, playing this up just for fun. There was no way she was actually offended by his little call out. Plus, if she was gonna call him old, he was gonna act as old as he possibly could. "In fact, being out here on this sand as triggered my back pain to flair up!" The young lion put a hand on the small of his back, leaning over and groaning. He set about muttering, like any good crazy old person would do. In another life, Kagi decided, he would be an amazing actor. With that thought in mind, he then fell onto the sand, "Help! Rosie! I've fallen and I cannot get up!" He rolled on his back so that the sand wouldn't get in his ear, and flailed about, generally acting wild. Surely, this was the peace and quiet he so clearly missed. Obviously it was the rowdy high school students causing the chaos around the beach.
Kagi stopped yelling and acting crazy when Rosie continued her the conversation. When the conversation shifted, he couldn't exactly keep acting like a crazy old man. Instead, he focused on his girlfriend and smiled at the thought of her being a good princess, helping her parents. Where he found the job to be stifling, Rosie was trying to find her place as a leader. She was going to graduate and be amazing, he could already see it. Sure, both of them being the heirs to their respective countries would cause a few problems, but they would deal with it when the time came. For now, he would be happy for her.
"I'm sure I can get the time off, yeah." He shook the sand out of his hair, sitting back up while trying to remember what the usual week for spring break was. "I'd love to visit your country again." The last time was fine. The gopher grab sucked, because he sucked, but he wasn't as into it as all the Corona citizens. "What happened was fine, Rosie. I'm not upset." The only reason he was a little irritated about it was the fact that he was the actual predatory in the country, as a lion. He should've been able to track and hunt the thing down faster than anyone else out there. Okay, so maybe he was more upset about it than he admitted, but he wasn't about to do a whole training montage over it.
Probably.

Rosemarie “Rosie” Estelle Fitzherbert daughter of Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert
During Kagi's little "old man" act, Rosie did her best to look like she was taking his hysterics seriously. He was giving his all to be as hammy as possible, and let it be known, right here and now, on the second of September, 2020, for all to witness...
...Rosie was a superbly bad actor.
Granted, the point of this wasn't to be some kind of high-stakes acting exercise, he was trying to make her laugh, and he was succeeding. As her boyfriend flopped on the ground like some kind of lost fish, Rosie was laughing. A lot. It was pretty funny, especially when you considered the actual situation where...Kagi was not even vaguely an old man. Or craved peace and quiet. Trying to stifle her giggling, she made a point to clarify these inconsistencies. "Right, right, I forgot how much you like everything to be quiet." He claimed as he flopped around on the sand, shrieking like a banshee.
Sticking out her hand to help Kagi up, she smiled at his answers, though. While he chafed under the pressure of ruling, Rosie honestly felt like she thrived under it. Sure, being in charge took some getting used to, It was weird having to make any level of decision and having people way older and experienced than her taking it seriously. But she adored helping the people of Corona with any issue that happened to pop up. It made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And when Kagi said he'd easily be able to visit her kingdom again, she beamed happily. "Either way, it was really fun having you there, and getting to spend time with you outside of school." Gopher or no gopher, it was fun to see Kagi away from all the stress and pressure they both felt while in Auradon City. Sure, her mom and dad weren't a big fan of him, for whatever reason. But they'd come around! Kagi was sweet and caring, he was a strong person that did the best he could to help and protect people, without being arrogant or stuck up about it. There were lots of good qualities to him, things that she genuinely loved about him, and she was sure her parents would warm up to him sooner or later. "It'd be great to be able to do that again."

Belmax Maxine Hamada Daughter of Baymax
Max had been in the library. She was unsure of where her family members were. Well, Hana was on the Isle and Leo and Van were back in San Fransokyo. But Hono, Hiso, Hitomi, Meow? She had no idea. That was like... over half of her family! But it was probably good that she couldn't find them or she would want to hang out with them despite being positive that they had cooler non basement robot friends.
Pushing the thoughts of her family members out of her mind, she looked down at the book she had been reading. It was about airplanes. Max dreamed of being a pilot. Well, maybe. She also wanted to get involved in the superhero world and the behind the scenes part. And she also wanted to be a doctor. And a vet. And maybe some kind of engineer. Or mechanic? Building stuff was fun! Or maybe even a professor. She liked to teach stuff. But a high school teacher would let her work with kids that weren't adults yet. Honestly, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do, but that was okay. Maybe she could ask Hono. Hono was smart.
The issue was that she forgot that she was supposed to be meeting with Brody to discuss a group project. Looking at the time on her phone, she realized that she only had two minutes to find him! She rushed around, sticking the book back on the shelf where she had gotten from and running out of the library.
She did slow down, however, when she got a glare from the librarian for the rushing around she did. When she was safely out of the library, she headed closer to the center of campus, looking out for the boy that she was supposed to be partnered up for this project. Time was ticking. She only had a minute left. She took out her phone to text him, worrying for a minute that he would be upset that she took so long to try and find him.
"Brodyyyyyyyyyy!" she called out, not yelling, but loudly. Maybe if the mouse boy was around and heard her, then he would respond and they could get to work. But just in case he wasn't, she sent off a quick text telling him about her whereabouts.
After texting him, Max fiddled with the straps of her backpack. She felt bad, almost being late like this. The robot girl was normally well prepared, often being that friend that carried around a first aid kit just in case anyone got hurt and a couple phone chargers in case anyone's batteries died.

Aisha June Agrabah daughter of jasmine and aladdin
Aisha looked at the empty seat in the room, doing her best not to stare at it. The secretary's lack of presence was fine, she didn't mind taking notes for the meeting herself, but it meant that she wasn't going to follow the direct order of things. It looked like Sara felt the same way she did, considering the lack of organization through the meeting. All of those things, like roll call and Robert's Rules annoyed her. They just made the meetings longer, and her time was important to her. Well, it usually was, to everyone, but this was the last day before classes. Everyone was back in town, and she wanted to take advantage of today. Which meant she wanted this meeting to go faster than normal.
Once the blonde was done talking, Aisha made sure to smile. She had to remember to keep up decorum, even if they didn't. Okay, so maybe the lack of order was annoying her as well. Sue her. Two conflicting things could still both be annoying. "I'm sure that the school would allow something like that." It was extra work, for all of them, and she would have to get approval from the Headmaster. She hated going to him for approval, even though she wouldn't complain about it. She looked around the table before stopping at Khuro, "And we will help, because we are a team." This was important to her to ingrain in these people, even if Sara wanted to do everything herself. "Sara, write up a plan so we can present the idea to the Headmaster. Make sure it's detailed and decisive."
Then Cocoa started talking. Aisha refused to show a visible sign of her annoyance. Sure, the lack of procedure had annoyed her, as did the fact that this meeting might go on for awhile, but nothing compared to a dysfunctional member of her team. Cocoa was going to cause problems, she could already tell. Aisha's hands were tied in the matter, as she couldn't exactly fire the other girl. Even so, the level of disrespect shown was impossible to ignore. "Ms. Potts, please stay behind to speak with me once the meeting is over." Aisha's smile had disappeared but she didn't show another sign of her irritation "And you will be helping Sara on her project." The last part might've been a bad idea, but it meant that they would have some time to bond. Hopefully it would help their relationship in a positive manner.
"And with that, I think it's a clear sign that we will need a student government retreat." At this, Aisha did smile. She was going to make sure that her team got along. Khuro, Sara and Cocoa had all shown themselves as trouble makers. She needed to stop that before it continued to get worse over the year. "So everyone clear their weekends." Later, she would apologize to Teagan for wrecking his weekend. She hadn't wanted to do this, of course, but she felt like she had to. Everyone at the table had to work together. "Make sure to pack for the woods. We'll be going camping." She made a point of looking to everyone, showing how serious she was.
With a sigh, she added, "During the next meeting, we will be following an agenda so something like this does not happen again. Sara, please continue, add whatever else you have to say and then we'll move onto Madison's updates." Internally, Aisha prayed to Ganesha that she had something to say. Anything that would stop the fighting before it continued. If not, she's sure she could throw it to Teagan and he would make something up. Hopefully. She glanced at her boyfriend, but her expression didn't betray any of her internal panic over the situation at hand.

Emilia Arendelle-Bjorgman daughter of anna and kristoff
Emilia nodded once, before turning towards the main building in front of her. "Now, I'm pretty sure that Student Government is meeting, so we have to be sure to avoid them at all costs." Aisha scared her. Like, actually scared her. She was beautiful, charismatic, and intimidating. Emilia did not want a run in with the President.
"So we have to be sneaky, even though not a lot of people are inside." As she spoke, she looked at Matthias and put a finger to her lips in the internationally understood motion for silence. Her plans within the art room wouldn't be very quiet, but once they were inside, there would be no stopping them. Paint-filled balloons were the perfect idea to make a mess.
Not that she wanted to make a mess, but what was art, if not disaster?
She didn't wait for him to reply before opening the door cautiously. She looked to her reindeer buddy and frowned, "You should wait out here," she whispered to the smaller creature, who just looked annoyed for a reindeer before wandering off. Emilia watched him for a second and shrugged, "That's a problem for later."

KAGISO “KAGI” ADEBAYO son of kiara and kovu
The goal had been to make her laugh, and he was proud to achieve his goal. He loved her laugh, and tried his best to hear it as much as possible. However, she questioned his old man act. He had to fight her points, whatever she said. This was about his honor as a young adult with old people problems! "I work in a greenhouse!" Kagi protested adamantly, crossing his arms to help show how stubborn he was being. Sure, he was playing it up a little, but he also thought it was funny. That was the purpose for everything, to just have fun. "That's like, one of the quietest places to work! It's quieter than a library!" He wasn't exactly wrong, although it wasn't like no one talked to him during the day. He still had his boss, and any costumers. He still thought it would be quieter than the library, however. Not many kids came to a greenhouse.
"During break, I'll need an excuse not to go home anyways. They always make me come back when Kandoro and the others do." He didn't have a problem with his parents, but he didn't want to deal with the conversation they always had when he came by. It got exhausting, trying to explain how he needed to figure out who he was before leading his people. He didn't want to run away from home. Pride Rock was the place in the world he always felt like he belonged. But he had to prove himself to the people there. He didn't think it was fair to them, that he was suddenly supposed to be their great leader when he hadn't lived himself. How could he run a country without having any life experience? He looked up at Rosie, "Not that I'd only be going to get my parents off my back!" Oh, god, that sounded awful. He was the worst.
Kagi smiled weakly, feeling awkward about it all, "Honestly, if I was just trying to get away from parents, I wouldn't go to Corona." Okay, yeah, Kagi knew was making a mess of things. This was really bad, but he didn't know how to fix it. What could he even say to make all of this sound better? He couldn't explain himself correctly in the first place. "This is all coming out very badly." He laughed lightly, showing off how nervous he felt. "It's just that, your parents kind of hate me." Kagi flinched at his big mouth, starting to panic. Nothing was making this conversation get any better. "I don't hate them though! They're very nice people, Rosie!" Kagi paused for a second, before deciding that the best course of action would be to stop talking at all. It was safer, considering his words were trying to betray him. "I think I'm going to shut up now."

SaNG CHI ANDaM son of sun park and councilor andam
After ducking through a few alleys, and hopping over a fence, Sang finally realized what this looked like and turned to Bellonso. "I swear this isn't illegal." Well, probably. He had never been arrested, so that meant no one cared he was there. Plus, he was pretty sure no one owned the land. Looking out at the abandoned skate park, Sang knew that this was his happy place.
"Do you know how to film?" It was an important question, one he should've asked before dragging the kid all the way out to the middle of nowhere within the city limits, but it was too late at this point. They were already there, and even if he couldn't do that, surely the kid had some skills. Plus, he would never abandon someone. Honestly, Bellonso could do absolutely nothing and Sang would still be happy for the company.
Sang got to work on setting up, and didn't wait for the kid to answer. "I've turned it on, so make sure not to press the off button." He pointed at it, and it was pretty obvious, but he still needed to make sure it was avoided at all costs. Sang flipped out the view finder so that they could see the preview play and pointed to the big red button next, "That's record. Hit it to start the video, and again to end whenever I say. Please don't hit it in the middle of a take without my word." He didn't want to lose any footage, after all.

Brody Gaddiel Hackwrench son of Basil and Gadget
"Mm...you rang?"
A rustle came from a bush near Max, before a head popped out of it. Brody had been studying the movements of a ladybug when his partner had called for him, and truth be told, he'd forgotten that he even had a group project.
Whoops, his bad. He'd try better...probably.
The mouse detective took a meditative handful of chips, chewing thoughtfully as he regarded Max. He didn't know too much about her, really. He was Hana's cousin, which made him assume she was pretty smart. But other than that, he wasn't exactly an expert.
Not like with the ladybug.
Finishing his mouthful of chips, he finally spoke again. "I have the flour kid with me." He brought up, patting something, presumably the flour bag, that was also in the bush with him. "We might wanna name him something though. "Flour Kid" sounds kinda....mmm..."
Not finishing his sentence, Brody trailed off dreamily, like his mind was still on ladybugs.

Belmax Maxine Hamada Daughter of Baymax
Max was not surprised at all when her partner popped out of the bushes beside her. "Oh, hi, Brody!" she said, waving to her partner as if it was a casual run in with each other. She hadn't interacted with him much, even when he and Hana had been dating, but she figured he was a decent dude if Hana was still friends with him after they broke up. She was just glad enough that he was close enough to hear her calling for him.
She would have to tell Hana when she got home that she and Brody were partners and hopefully they'd be friends by the end of this project. "Whatcha doin' in the bush?" she asked. Honestly, it didn't seem like that bad of a place to be. Maybe Max should find something cooler like that to study instead of the library. The library was nice, but it was so... quiet and typical. Max grew up in the Hamada household. Quiet wasn't comforting to her.
"Ooooooh. Naming him sounds fun. Do we wanna go with a normal name? Like something like Will or Wyatt or Andrew would be nice if we wanna go that route. Or do we wanna name him something that really... represents Max and Brody as partners?" she asked. The method of naming was important. For example, Uncle Hiro and Aunt Vanellope had gone with the same scheme of giving their kids one real name and one candyish name. Honoka - Nice name. Vienna - Candy name. Hanako - Nice Name. Vanilla - Candy Name. She wasn't going to go down the rest of her list. And her dad just wanted to include Max in her name. Belmax. Maxine. She was very Maxy and was honestly 99% sure that's why she didn't have a sibling. Because Baymax wasn't creative enough to name a kid something that wasn't Max. Although, if she did have a sibling, their name could be Bay, she realized. Bay and Max, the children of Baymax.
So, back from that tangent, naming schemes sometimes told a lot about the people doing the naming.
She wondered, for a moment, about Brody. Did he have any siblings? Did his parents have a naming scheme? Or did they pick Brody just because they liked it as a name? What about a middle name? What was Brody's middle name and why had they chosen that?
Hmmmmm. Now wasn't a good time to ask, but maybe she would ask Brody some time. Or his parents, but she didn't think she'd have a chance to talk to his parents coming up any time soon.
She did, however, peek into the bush alongside him. "Look at our flour baby! He's hiding out in the bushes with his dad and it won't be long before he's hanging out in bushes by himself... or with bad influence friends." She was well aware that Flour Kid was an inanimate and not sentient creature and would not grow or end up in bushes on his own. But that's fine. She was just glad that this was going to be an easy project. You didn't even have to be smart to do something like this and Max was pretty sure that she had heard Hana mentioning once that Brody was smart... On a whole rant about why Brody was better than Major. If Max has been paired up with Major for this project, she would die. She would have probably just ask the horse boy if she could keep the baby and give them a good grade without either of them ever having to interact.

Brody Gaddiel Hackwrench son of Basil and Gadget
"'m watching Agnes, here." The dark haired boy answered, as if that made any sense without further context. Who was Agnes? The flour bag? A girl the strange kid may have been stalking? His imaginary friend?
Of course not, that was ludicrous.
Agnes was a ladybug, and letting the little insect crawl onto his outstretched finger, he answered Max in a sleepy way that implied that he may or may not have been paying attention. "We could name 'im Fly." He suggested, turning his hand as the ladybug -- Agnes -- moved around, so that he could keep an eye on her.
Was Fly an appropriate name for a child? No, absolutely not. But Fly was a bag of flour. They both started with an F, so it made sense to the mouse detective.

Belmax Maxine Hamada Daughter of Baymax
"Agnes?" Max found herself confused by his reply for a moment and peeled into the bush to see if there was some girl named Agnes hanging out with Brody. A bush was kind of an odd place to hang out with a friend, but if Brody had invited her to hang out in a bush she would have said yes. Hiso had done that before. Asked her to hang out in a bush. It was actually kinda relaxing.
"Fly..." she repeated, considering the name for their flour child. "I like it," she determined after a moment. Why not? While Max and Brody were actually decently normal names, she knew some people didn't have super normal names. Take Hono and Hana's video game friends for example. Shimmy? Tino? Peppevieve? Bellonso? They weren't normal names, but the Sugar Rush characters all seemed pretty satisfied with their names, so she was sure that Fly would thrive with the name.
"Whatcha got there? Is that Agnes?" she asked, leaning over to look at the ladybug crawling around on his hand. Fly was left abandoned on the ground between the two of them as Max twisted her head around to get another look at the bug without touching it or invading Brody's personal space too much. "What about Ladybug? We could name him Fly Ladybug Hamada-Hackwrench," she suggested.

Teagan Harper Tibbs son of Sergeant Tibbs and Hissy
To his credit, Teagan kept his mouth shut during the chaos. He wanted nothing more than to corral in this chaos, but that was Aisha's job, and he wasn't going to steal her thunder. This was her place to shine, and she could get things back under order. Even though he smiled towards his girlfriend, the annoyance in his eyes and the small twitch of his nose probably betrayed his frustration with their colleagues.
He kept quiet, not adding to the mess of voices, because Aisha had called for Sara's final thoughts, and then Madison's reports. He had ideas of his own, but he was patiently waiting his turn, because he wasn't raised in a barn. Well...he was. Sort of.
But it was a matter of hyperbole, not fact.
He only continued to get more cross as Cocoa put in her opinion, which was basically putting Sara down. Lovely. Teagan wasn't a fan in the slightest, and an irritated snuff of air escaped his nose, still trying to keep his mouth shut. Aisha was putting her in her place, this was still fine. Everything was still fine.

Maisie Grace DunBroch Daughter of Merida and Young MacGuffon
Maisie was just finishing up her shift at the hospital and beginning to pack up. She was planning on spending as much time here as possible between volunteering and shadowing and hopefully getting an internship in the future and then one day becoming a doctor! And the time that she had spent here today had just made her more sure that this plan was what she wanted.
It sucked that Maggie and Akram weren't around for Maisie to share about her day. Maybe she could try to hunt down Rory or Kin? She had been treating the boys more as brothers now that her sister was gone. She worried about Maggie and Akram. They were both heading over to the Isle. While Maisie agreed that those poor kids deserved to be saved, she still worried about the safety of her sister and mentor. That was part of the reason she was trying to spend a lot of time at the hospital. She could help others while they did, and it kept her occupied so that she didn't worry quite as much about them. They were heroes, and she'd gladly tell them that when they came home.
As she was buttoning up her favorite red and black jacket, someone caught her eye. She didn't know his name, but recognized him as one of the King and Queen's kids. Not Alexander, but that was the name that Maisie recalled the most. He was the heir - everyone would know him. She couldn't recall this boy's name, but she did recognize him for his family. She gave a friendly wave in his direction before stopping.
It must be lonely to be the child of the King and Queen of Auradon. The family was large, but there still had to be some loneliness when their life had to be so political and - at least she assumed - scripted out and dictated by their parents. She was a princess too, but she felt as though having Maggie as her only sibling allowed the two of them to be closer. Plus, hadn't one or two of his siblings joined Maggie on her trip to the Isle?
She had never talked to one of the Bête kids before, but that didn't mean that she couldn't do it now. Maisie had walked a couple steps past him before she stopped to think, so she turned around and headed back to the boy. "Hi! I'm Maisie. I don't think we've met, but I've seen you around." She carefully left out the part about him being a Bête, not wanting to grab the attention of anyone that was near, or wanting him to think that she was only interested in becoming his friend because of his parents. She wanted to become his friend for him. Or at least try. It was true that she knew nothing about him, but she figured his life could be lonely. Plus, someone that was at the hospital couldn't be completely bad, could they?

Bastian "Bast" Dorian Charles Bête son of belle and beast
Bastian prided himself on not being noticed by outsiders. It was pretty difficult for others to identify him in a crowd. The casual hairstyle, the hoodies, the general lack of presence did that. In order of important to least important, he figured that he was lowest on the totem pole. For everyone, though, not just his father. The second youngest didn't even get the pleasure of being known as the last of the kids. Bast was just stuck in the middle, after Blanche was born. He didn't blame her for getting kicked to the curb, but that didn't mean he was happy about it.
So when someone from school walked up to him, and greeted him, saying that they recognized him, Bast was not happy. In fact, he was fairly panicked. No one was supposed to know that he went to the hospital. Instead of reacting badly, he smiled at the kid in front of him. Bast set the book down on the table next to him and turned to face the person, practically growling with anger. He was surprised he hadn't beasted out, though he was never good at the whole animal thing. It had never been his strong suit. Most of the time he couldn't even howl.
The youngest prince stared at the girl in front of him, trying to place her. His eyes flicked over her quickly, but he didn't have a name. He couldn't even be sure of a location, because he couldn't place the accent. God, he was stupid. Well, not stupid. He just didn't talk to people enough. Like now, considering how long he's spent just looking at this girl instead of actually speaking to her. It was probably creepy. Good, maybe it would mean that he got left alone. If he freaked her out enough, maybe she would just leave him alone. Everyone did that anyways, it wouldn't make her any different.
He was a nobody. Instead of acting like a normal person,
Bast got way too close to her so that he didn't have to be loud when he spoke. He couldn't have anyone overhear him, after all. That would defeat the purpose of hiding his identity. The only people who knew his real last name was the HR department. Even his badge didn't have his last name on it. It just said Sebastian Charles. He had figured that Dorian could be a last name, though he was completely wrong. All of the kids teased him about it. He only dealt with it because it was better than the alternative. While maintain his creepy vibe, Bast muttered, "You don't know me." He stepped back, slightly, giving her more space.

Maisie Grace DunBroch Daughter of Merida and Young MacGuffin
Maisie hadn't talked to this guy in the past, so she figured she didn't know what to expect when engaging in conversation with him. However, she knew for sure that she didn't expect him to turn, stare at her for so long (though she supposed he could just be trying to place her and see if he recognized her), or get so close. The smile fell from her face, and she stepped back slightly when he finally spoke.
See, Maisie was a nice person. She liked others, and she liked to make them happy. She prided herself in making friends and determined that her social skills would be very helpful in her future career as a doctor, so she tried to strengthen them every chance she got. While most people may take the boy's reaction as a hint to step back, Maisie just frowned a bit. "You're right. I don't know you..." she paused and narrowed her eyes to read his name tag, "Sebastian. But that doesn't mean that we can't get to know each other."
She pulled a piece of paper out of her bag - and she had plenty of paper with all the notes she had taken today - to write her phone number down and hand it to him. "My name is Maisie, by the way. Maisie DunBroch." Maisie knew that she wasn't as easily identifiable as her sister, but she figured that the usage of her last name would at least give the boy a hint as to who she was. She wasn't sure how much he kept up on the other students at school, but if he recognized the last name as belonging to Maggie, then he'd know who Maisie is. Maggie was a lot more recognizable than her little sister.
"When are you taking your lunch break? Maybe we could go grab something together? It would be nice to get to know each other," Maisie said. By now it had kicked in that his comment meant that he wanted her to leave, but she wanted to give this at least one more chance. Maybe she was wrong and he had plenty of friends and good relationships with all of his siblings, but something in Maisie feared that this boy really needed a friend.

Bastian "Bast" Dorian Charles Bête son of belle and beast
Well, at least the name tag hadn't sparked a more recognizable name. His cover was safe, for now. He wasn't sure how long that would last with everything else happening. If she wanted to interact more, if she continued to run into him while he was at the hospital, he would have to stop. This girl was a danger to him, in her own, weird way. He would die if his little volunteering got out. It was the one thing he didn't have to share with his siblings, and something he could hide that wouldn't get back to the public. There was no watch the prince do public work so long as he didn't use his real name.
"It kind of does mean that," Bast shrugged, not exactly wanting to make another friend today. Surly one friend was enough. Yes, she was his brother's girlfriend and yes, she generally tried to get him to hang out with kids his own age but the only one he actually liked was currently on a prison isle with two of his favorite siblings. Seriously, with Alicio gone, he was the sole sibling with the ability to sneak in snacks. It was a lot of responsibility, especially when the bad siblings now outweighed the good ones. He didn't exactly want to be helping the others get what they want, excluding Blanche and Adrian.
DunBroch. That was Scotland, then. She fit the picture perfectly. Then again, it wasn't like every single ginger was from Scotland. Ariel's daughters, that one princess from Russia, others at school that he didn't pay attention to. He should have known this one, Maisie, but he tended not to pay attention during events, or sneak off without anyone noticing. Most people in the public eye forgot he existed nowadays. He didn't like it, but it was useful. When she held out her hand, Bast looked at it with confusion. She was giving him her number? He looked at her, disorientated. "You're weird." He didn't move to take the piece of paper, just blinking at her.
Who just gave their number to some random dude who purposely tried to be creepy?
Things got worse when she invited him to lunch. He was pretty sure this girl was trying to get murdered. Who had raised her? Were Scots really this stupid? So, he continued to stare at her incredulously. "What are you doing? You realize I was threatening you, right? Stop being nice!" If he didn't stop this girl, someone was going to take advantage of her. As much as he didn't care about people, she was trying to be kind. It was dangerous, but she seemed like a good person. Someone needed to stop her stupidity.
