Okay, since I try to bw more active in this forum, I think I'll post mine:
- I dislike TPB arc. It's one of my least favorite arcs, along with OotS, and I still don't get why it's praised so much, when it had the same mistakes each arc has (GIANT plot holes, background characters with no personality, underdeveloped plots, and others). It was too predictable and Fireheart was SO dense it got on my nerves. He had everything too easy and it bored me a lot.
- That being said, I think TBC is shaping to be the best arc atm. While I like AVoS and DotC, AVoS lacked plot and DotC lacked villain and romance development.
- I dislike VioletxTree mostly because Tree just keeps pushing Violetshine to make the decision of leaving the Clans. He asked it first in AVoS and then he keeps pushing her to decide again in TBC and I feel it like he has no consideration of how attached Violetshine feels to the Clans and her family (or how Rootpaw and Needlepaw feel, too).
- I despise Bluestar with burning passion and I don't think she was a good leader even in her good days. She made too much questionable choices that put her Clan or some of her clanmates in danger several times. She should have never been deputy, her SE existed only to pity her and she giving away her kits was stupid when she could have just talked things with Sunstar.
- Tigerheart's Shadow was a nice book.
- I love Tigerheart as character and leader. Sure he had made some terribly choices (most on The Raging Storm) and he was naive and fool back in his young days but he has developed a lot. He's a strong, respected leader as shown in PoVs in his own Clan and he is a caring mate and father. He LISTENS what his medicine cat, warriors and deputy has to say when it comes down to take decisions and I value that A LOT. I don't think he deserves all the hate he gets.
- I found Rowanclaw a bad and weak leader. It was stated several times even in BrS that he didn't know how to control his Clan. Even so, he didn't deserve to end the way he did, but neither his Clan deserved to be disbanded just because if HIS decision.
- I love Dovewing and I'm happy that she's much happier in ShadowClan. To be fair, she never got to be an individual self in ThunderClan thanks to the pressure of her Clanmates of her own family.
- I love Dovewing and Tigerhert's relationship, I find it the one that has been the most realistic in Warriors. From both being young, stupid and careless, to grow up to who they are now, with it's ups and downs, they are not perfect and I just love that.
- I... I don't get people who complains about Squirrelflight, Tigerheart and Dovewing getting attention in the newest arcs, but then complains about other main characters being forgotten in the background? I'm just happy they are still being developed and that they are still important to the plot even if they are not the main characters anymore. It show how much they have matured.
- I despise Ivypool and I don't get still why people find her relatable.
- I found Rainflower's behavior to be normal. Awful, horrible as she was with Crookedstar, I found it normal maybe because that's exactly how my mother is so being that way is pretty much normalized for me. It wasn't until I entered this forums that I realized it's not normal.
- I don't think Bramblestar had a right to be mad at Squirrelflight for lying to him about the Three. First of all, he lied and brushed under the rug everything about him training in the Dark Forest and planning to take over the Clans. Then, if StarClan wasn't involved, sure, he would have a right to be mad at her. But they were involved and pretty much manipulated and lied to her, they forced her to lie, explicitly to her mate, her Clan and her leader.
- I like Crowfeather x Feathertail and I don't think their love was a 'college' one.
- I take everything written in OotS as a grain of salt. Everything is so messy and the potholes are huge that everyone's characterization is a hot mess. That's why I don't mind Breezepelt's redemption in CT, because his character in that SE matches PERFECTLY with his character in PoT: mad, angry all the time and hateful sometimes and even a pain to bear but still willing to do things right. Breezepelt in OotS was another different characterization that I didn't feel like the PoT Breezepelt.
- Mistystar is an awful leader and still manages to be too boring to care.
- While I dislike Leafstar, I think she is a strong leader and character and has endured a lot and she deserves the recognition Bluestar gets, tbh.
- Lionblaze had a right to be mad at Heathertail in Eclipse's battle. It was war, it's obvious he would attack her.
- I didn't find Alderheart to be boring, I enjoyed how much he grew and how he resembles both his mentors. And his relationship with Jayfeather was wholesome.
