Paranormal Romance Plots? Open~

^{logically, I know that we're heading toward Valentine's Day not Halloween. But my muse says why not both-}

1 - How To Train Your Daemon
Character A is descended from a family of 'exorcists'- but very flexible with that term in that they hunt anything that requires hunting. They're the youngest member and determined to prove themselves by targeting a particularly dangerous being who is regarded more as legend or hearsay, as no one has really had proof of their existence. Until Character A, of course, who accidentally on purpose stumbles across Character B and then entirely accidentally forms a binding contract with them. This little mishap doesn't discourage Character A from their grand mission however- even though it's a chore to hide their increasingly tangible bond. Character A is determined to break the contract and eliminate Character B once and for all- a task made more difficult by the mysterious time limit and resurgence of greater foes.

2 - The Downfallen
Character A has been selected by minor supernatural creatures as their 'deity', lavished with attention and power that they sorely lack in the human world. This title comes with a price, however- permanently marring an already lackluster reputation from childhood onward. They're seen as 'creepy' and unsettling. No one can understand why they interact with beings who don't exist, or how anyone who openly derides them comes upon sometimes life-threatening 'incidents'. Character A is regarded as 'haunted' and is forced to live as less of a human for years- until Character B. Character B who seems entirely, unremarkably human at first- until they accidentally reveal that they too can see and interact with the supernatural. Character A immediately takes to them and attempts to establish a connection- but while friendly enough, Character B distances themselves and insists that there's nothing special about them. They might have succeeded in the farce if not for an incident that threatens Character A's life and forces Character B to reveal their secret. Or part of it. Who are they, really?
