there's this cool anime / manga called 'beastars,' which is about the lives of anthropomorphic animals living in a complicated society together. not only do they have the normal societal issues of prejudice, income inequality, unequal access to resources, etc. but they also have to deal with the essential carnivore vs. herbivore species status they each have. yes, carnivores can take medication and undergo treatments to reduce the impact that these urges have on them, but it's still a potent dividing factor between the two. murders (and devourings) aren't unheard of. there's a black market that sells herbivore meat, if you know where to look. this drives friends apart, fosters suspicion, distrust, and profiling.
i thought it would be real interesting to have college-aged students at a university explore this dynamic for themselves, on their own. perhaps a violent crime can be the driving force behind whatever plot we decide, perhaps not? we have time to figure it out. i'm just throwing this poll up so i can gauge the interest floating around and decide how much thought i actually want to give this. (thinking about 4-5 members of less than 10 characters, 1,000+ words per post? as a general guideline)

I do agree. I love RPing anthros, but I feel 1000 words is a little over the top, tbh! I can only write up to 300, if I'm lucky. My problem is that my RP length tends to get shorter and shorter as the RP develops, and its a hard to fix problem. If I did that high, it would get really boring and the details would falter. A 700 word limit or even 600 seems more realistic to me!

thanks for the feedback. you all know you can create any kind of roleplay you want, yes? beastars isn’t my idea—i don’t own it. you can do what you want, i was just trying to see if i could get a like-minded crew together. i’m not gonna change my vision to accommodate more people.
