Gets a new leader/deputy, I hope it's Mallownose.
He seems to be the most outspoken cat in that clan, and I think he has the potential to stir up things, that will make RiverClan relevant again.

This actually got me thinking about who right now is eligible to become the next leader, excluding Reedwhisker. This is using the ST allegiances, and ignoring that Curlfeather's kits will be apprenticed.
So the only cats eligible (ie. With apprentices) are:
Duskfur: Reasonable in age, but only has 3 appearances since being born in Eclipse. One was in a border patrol,one fighting the Sisters, the other supporting Mistystar. Seems like a very loyal cat who puts her Clan's needs above hers.
Shimmerpelt: Also fought the sisters and was on the same border patrol that drove the med cats away. Seems a lot more hostile than Duskfur, but does rescue Twigpaw when she falls in the lake.
Lizardtail: Was on the patrol to find SkyClan after they leave again, and speaks out in front of the Gathering insisting all Clans give territory to SkyClan. Seems like a generous and compassionate cat.
Brackenpelt: Only appearance is being one of Darktail's prisoners, and subsequent recovery. Seen to be terrified of speaking up against Darktail and hostile towards ThunderClan.
Softpelt: The youngest candidate. Her only appearances are 3 times where she almost dies - once from fire, once from drowning, and once from illness. Shes an unlucky one.
Mallownose: The oldest cat to be considered (Although younger than Lion/Jay), shown to be very pipey in Gatherings, a very Cloudtail kinda guy (and they're apparently friends, go figure).
Its really interesting. My personal pick would be Duskfur or Lizardtail, but Mallownose would be spicy.

Flamefrost I really like Lizardtail  I think it's really cool that Mallownose and Cloudtail are friends ripplestorm I would LOVE for Sneezecloud to be leader, though, he doesn't seem as outspoken as Mallownose Too bad he hasn't had an apprentice yet, apparently, he's listed as Harelight's mentor in another language book, but in the English books, zombie Beetlewhisker is his mentor.

Oh, I forgot about the mentor thing- poor Sneezecloud! Imagine being passed up in favor of a guy who's been dead for ages as mentor, at least in the English books.

I still like the idea of a Minnowstar. She's had two apprentices. Yes, she's old. She was a kit in TNP and an apprentice in POT. Her brother was already an elder before dying. I just like the idea of Minnowtail being leader.

Reedwhsiker is too old, he would be even older than Mistystar when she got her 9 lives. It could happen, its just unlikely imo. Based off the email we saw regarding why we are getting GV, I believe SE14 will focus on the RC deputy. It cant be about a cat born in TBC events, too young, so someone who is currently in the alleigances will recieve the role. Im assuming it will take place in AVOS or in between OOTS and AVOS. Maybe even before? Unless they choose to give all the personality to a warrior without showing their appreticehood or early warriorship and have it set in the present. That sounds like it could be interesting I hope it's some who will make RiverClan relevant again Maybe it'll be a cat who had a mate and kits in all 4 other clans, that'd be interesting |
