Who do you think holds most power in StarClan? It was always said that there's no concept of ranks, but it always seems that there's some council. In Squirrelflight's Hope, certain former leaders and Moth Flight served as some court to judge Squirrelflight and Leafpool.
Do you think Firestar is on the council and just wasn't there for that specific "trial" because of potential bias? And do you think the cats on the "court" are always the same or specialized for the specific situation as Bluestar, Yellowfang, Tallstar, etc all had forbidden love stories while Moth Flight and Littlecloud were medicine cats. Not really sure about CrookedStar's relation but maybe another cat with less to relate. The cats besides Moth Flight are all relatively from the same era as Leafpool and Squirrelflight, so maybe it would make the trial more fair.
Anyways, I think Moth Flight holds the most power in StarClan if assuming the court is relatively static (only changes when certain cats retire), but can definitely be overruled by other cats. All the other cats were young by StarClan standards (Bluestar, Tallstar, Yellowfang, etc) while no other old cats besides Moth Flight was on the council. She also initially started the proceedings.
