I think that's Blossomfall's biggest problem, it might just be me, but it seems like she has very little compassion for anyone. Like, Ivypool when they were apprentices. It could be excused that she was young or what not, but even as a full grown adult, she still shows no compassion. In Squirrelflight's Hope she's all like,
"That's not our problem." or something along those lines.
When Sunrise is injured.
Thornclaw seems to show a lack of compassion in that scene too, I guess they really are meant for each other.
I suppose I shouldn't just be calling Blossomfall and Thornclaw out...Bramblestar, Hollytuft and Birchfall are showing a lack of compassion as well.
Also, when did Birchfall become such an a-hole? I understand that they're upset that they attacked two ShadowClan warriors, but refusing to help a seriously injured cat is baffling.

Okay...
So it appears that Hollytuft has memory loss, because she just wandered into camp, and saw Sunrise injured, and she was like..
"Omg, what happened?"
Even though she was there when they brought her into camp?!?!
I wonder who that was actually meant to be?
Maybe Honeyfur? Or...who else's name starts with an H that's currently alive in ThunderClan?
Or it could be Shellfur or Leafshade, ThunderClan's most forgotten about warriors!
Or maybe Hollytuft really does just have a SUPER bad memory.
I don't even know.

Tbh Blossomfall has always proven to be a very selfish cat, so it really doesn't surprise me that she's like that. At least Stemleaf isn't a garbage can like his mother

When you're an apprentice you do dumb things that are to be expected. It doesn't make how she treated Ivy right, but there's also the fact that Millie coddled her kits until the Briar incident. Then she only cared about one of them. While as Blossomfall pretty much joined a gang, Bumble compensated by trying to pursue a relationship. When it comes to the situation between the clans and the sisters, it also makes sense for some of them to care less, they're looking out for themselves and their clan and their well being. I guess it's really more like questionable morals. Imo Blossomfall isn't a bad cat, people just seem to not like her just because she has realistic problems and does realistically bad choices. I also feel like the fandom is really harsh when it comes to judging her character, feels like people are overreacting too much and trying to play the blame game. To me at least, it's pretty silly, and Blossom is just honestly an "okay" character. She's not the best or worse, but she definitely more interesting then the rest of her siblings and more than half of the middle gen cats. I'm honestly confused how she garnered so much hate in the fandom just for simply being one of the DF cat trainees and over an off comment spat between her and Ivy as apprentices. But what I find interesting is that despite you listing the other characters that reacted the same way over Sunrise, I highly doubt, besides Bramble, they will get as much criticism. Bramble has been the fandom's scratching post since this book, for honestly the dumbest reasons, while people will probably blissfully ignore and brush under the rug anything Birchfall, Thornclaw or Hollytuft does.

Blossomfall showing no sympathy isn't surprising. She's a dumpster fire of a character, and one of the least likeable cats in the Clan, just slightly above her brother.

✲ριкαƒυєу✲Yeah, Stemleaf is a good cat ❅Maplefrost❅That is true on all accounts, and yeah, I don't think I've seen Thornclaw, Hollytuft or Birchfall ever get any criticism, except for Hollytuft not getting enough screen time. I mean, Blossomfall has had a few good moments, but I just don't like her, but she's definitely not the worst cat in the series. Neekwanakwaki (Cloud)I think Stormfur's a fantastic character! Just kidding, I know you meant Bumblestripe XD I'm going to be real here...I really didn't have a problem with Bumblestripe until The Silent Thaw. At least here he's showing some compassion.

Blossomfall just keeps on getting worse in my eyes, though I've never liked her to begin with.

Blossomfall just keeps on getting worse in my eyes, though I've never liked her to begin with. Same, though, there was a scene in Dovewing's Silence, where she was pretty likeable, however, that might have been for more of her own benefit (wanting to prove that she was loyal, after training in the Dark Forest) rather than just trying to be a good-hearted cat.

I think she's a good-hearted cat, there really isn't anything in the series to prove otherwise tbh. I feel that she's being villainized when it's obvious she's not a villain, just like most of the other trainees who were led astray. And considering how crappy her mother raised her, I'm not really surprised by how she acts in some instances. Although I don't like her or any of the 3B's for that matter, as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't have existed, and Millie shouldn't have joined ThunderClan.

Although I don't like her or any of the 3B's for that matter, as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't have existed, and Millie shouldn't have joined ThunderClan. I don't think she's a villain or even that bad tbh, I think my main problem with her, is the same problem that I have with Jayfeather and Crowfeather, is that she annoyed me from the get-go, and she hasn't really had the screen time to blossom into being a more likeable character. As for Jayfeather, he's still an a-hole, and I still don't like him. He's had 12 whole books of being a POV character, so I don't think I'll ever like him. Crowfeather, I don't like him, but after reading Crowfeather's Trial, I don't despise him nearly as much as I did. However, there are some characters who haven't had a POV, who I started off disliking, but then they ended up coming one of my favorite characters. For instance, Cloudtail, I couldn't stand him when he was an apprentice, when he got kidnapped by twolegs, I was honestly hoping he'd just stay gone. However, after seeing how he treated Brightheart after she got attacked, that honestly put him in my top five list of favorite characters. Another one is Longtail, he started off as a grade - A jerk, but then he turned it around after getting out from underneath Tigerclaw's thumb. However, I don't think he was ever a bad hearted guy, he did save Firestar's life, even when he was still being pushed around by Tigerclaw. I think Graystripe should have never gotten kidnapped, if they wanted Brambleclaw to be deputy, and Graystripe still be alive, there could have been easier, and less drama filled ways to do so. Also, if they wanted Graystripe to have a second chance at having a family, I'm sure there were a lot of potential suitors for him already in ThunderClan, or even Daisy, but then Toadstep wouldn't have been born, and that would be sad.

I think her jerkiness and bratty attitude make her interesting and while these are negative characteristics it's at least better than her having no personality at all. I wish her and Ivypool had more contact to establish and grow their relationship better- they seem like the kind of characters who hate each other as kids but once they're in the Dark Forest they're like "I've seen some sh*t with you, we'll put that behind us cause we just gotta make it out of here alive". I also think they should have grown to have mutual respect for each other and maybe even become good friends. I think Blossomfall's problems come from her lack of ability to grow, probably due to the writers having too many characters to keep track of and so she never really grows past her anger and brattiness even though she's a grown woman with four children now. That's true, especially about there being too many characters now, and about her actually having a personality.
