Would you guys have had Skyclan just stay at the gorge and Darktail won’t get involved or do you like them residing by the lake? I just wanna hear your opinions. I know that this would change most of AVOS though.

My vote is no, if they had stayed at the gorge, then we'd probably never see them in the story, unless a cat from one of the other clans was required to journey somewhere, and they happened to come across them along the way.

Yup, I loved Skyclan in the gorge, they were pretty unique with their rules and way of living, now it's just Thunderclan were the cats have cooler names.

Yes and No.
No, because they deserve their place among the other clans.
Yes, because the other clans are trash and treat them like trash.
It's a conflicting choice. I remember I predicted eons ago that they'd come back to join the other clans, but considering how much change SkyClan has been through, now they're TOO good for the other clans. And I don't mean that in a snarky way, I genuinely mean that the other clans are pieces of crap. Especially with their treatment of SkyClan, and there's so much generational pain, it's evident with how they act nowadays and how cautious and scared they are. They deserve better, and have already been through more than any other clan. Because yes, nothing will ever come close to what they've been through. Losing their home arguably three times, being scattered and destroyed twice, and then having to pull up with the other clans and their xenophobic bs. Just yikes all around. SkyClan didn't deserve this, yet Leafstar would still put her clan before herself. I'm surprised at just how far they've come.

Better question: Should Firestar have gone to resurrect them in the first place? No.
Everything having to do with SkyClan, except maybe DotC, is stupid, and I hate it. Four was a good number. It didn't need to be five.

I didn't even like skyclan under Leafstar and I agree 100%. the way the clans treated them was appalling and they shouldn't have come back

Yes, because they were unique. Now they are like the other clans.

I haven't read AVOS yet, but I know a main part of the arc will be Skyclan coming back. It's something I agree with since they never should have been driven out in the first place, and I feel they deserve their place among the clans again after all this time. I feel all the clans owe them, actually, so if they're jerks about accepting Skyclan in AVOS I'm not gonna be thrilled about it-especially if Windclan doesn't accept them since Windclan was driven out once.

I'm really torn on this one. On the one hand, SkyClan was incredibly interesting in the gorge. The concept of a resurrected Clan rising to their former glory was new and fresh for the series. And Leafstar is a phenomenal leader. She is a great leader on her own. But under the circumstances? She is hands down the best leader the series. She went from living her own to leading a Clan in three moons. Three. Moons. No one, not even Firestar, was so inadequately prepared for such a transition. And no, she was not a perfect leader out of the gate. She made plenty of mistakes. Living apart from the other Clans allowed her to experiment and learn in a safer environment. Could you imagine what Leopardstar or Blackstar would have done if they had joined the Clans immediately? They would have started a war right off the bat to drive them off. SkyClan would have been immediately destroyed again. But ultimately, SkyClan is one of the five Clans. They have every right to reclaim their place alongside the four. They are a heck of a lot safer too. Yes, ShadowClan were a**holes to them. But they would never have to fight alone again. They would always have ThunderClan as an ally. And Wind and River at times too. At the gorge, they were completely alone. Even if they defeated Darktail, there would always be another enemy to fight. One that could have been even stronger and wipe them out completely. It was also the perfect time for them to return. The Clans were far more tolerant than they've ever been. Onestar was still a butt, but the rest were great. And even now only Tigerstar poses a problem. But he's no Onestar, it's possible to talk him down. So I voted no. SkyClan will be much better off at the lake in the long run. Of course there's going to be issues to start. SkyClan has get used to neighbors and the others have to adjust to another Clan. Those issues shouldn't stop SkyClan from regaining what is rightfully theirs. EDIT: I actually voted no. Holy hell what a typo. And I somehow managed to quote myself. That's it. Bedtime for me before I break something.
